As a Salon Owner, finding great team members always feels like a priority.    The problem is that it can feel tricky to find the right person, let alone ensure that person actually sticks around and becomes a superstar team member for the long run. This is why, I believe, looking after your team and building a winning team culture should be as much of a priority as hiring in the first place. You simply can’t expect everyone you hire to be the jack of all trades... and if you want to, you need to offer them more than just a great hourly wage.  Put yourself in the shoes of your team. When I had my Salon, I had employees that were with me for 15 & 18 years… and even had people outlive me in my salon! The secret?
