Meet Frostine Shake:

Frostine Shake graduated from The University of North Texas with a B.F.A. in Fashion Design. Obtaining skills such as industrial pattern making, industrial sewing, fashion illustration, textile knowledge and more. Frostine Shake obtained a cosmetology license issued by the state of Texas in 2008. She continues to provide makeup and hair styling for selected photo shoots and events. Frostine has been previously employed by Benefit Cosmetics, MAC Cosmetics, Christian Dior, and is a trained eyebrow specialist as well as a makeup artist. Frostine also has experience in photography, styling, and creative directing in photo shoots and publications. She also incorporates her love of dance and theater in her work as a designer which has taken her to places like England, Italy, Holland, Norway, and Switzerland. Her travels have inspired her to keep a very feminine and charming quality to her clothing designs.

BURLESQUE:

Frostine Shake and Sin O Rita started the burlesque troupe Black Satin Burlesque in 2007 based out of south Texas. Both had a mutual respect and admiration for the burlesque art form and decided to start Black Satin Burlesque which ran for four years. Since then, Frostine continues to dance as a solo performer gracing both local and international stages.
