This week, we dive into how to power up your body and mind for the most energetic and fulfilling summer day! As you know, we start with warm water. If this is getting boring, you can do one of my favorites and add turmeric, cinnamon and lemon. Yum. Next, tune in to your most powerful self with a short visualization, mediation or journaling. Bring to mind a time when you felt most in your power, when you were confident about your moves. A time when what you said and did was in alignment with who you know you are. There was no struggle, just a deep knowing that you have what it takes. You have the answers and you feel at ease. Where are you? What do you see? What colors and textures are around you? Breathe into this image of you in your power. And breathe it out through your whole body. How can you apply this powerful version of you to your day today? What would your most powerful self spend her time doing today? Accomplish today? Celebrate today? Take some notes. This is gold. If you had a hard time visualizing anything, don't worry. Take a drink of water, move around and try it again. We finish our power up routine with a few jumping jacks, a brisk walk or other movement to really get your blood circulating.
