Meet Karen Buscemi, (boo-SHE-me) as she tells the story of the Detroit Garment Group. DGG is in the process of creating Detroit’s first-ever Garment District in partnership with the Mayor’s Office, Detroit Economic Growth Corporation, The Governor’s Office, and Michigan Economic Development Corporation, with DGG as the project lead.
Karen Buscemi is the founder of cut and sewn manufacturer Detroit Sewn She also wrote for the now defunction Styleline Magazine which celebrated Detroit fashion.
