When Pokémon Scarlet and Violet was announced it was billed as a new direction for the franchise. Introducing a new open-world sandbox for players to roam in, a new generation of Pokémon, and new storylines. The then came out and it indeed has all those things, but also a gauntlet of performance issues.

So Should you play Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet? Is it a good single player Experience?

I've been on the game in a very long time.

It's one of the worst running triple A games that I can remember playing.

But despite all that, it's a really fun time.

So why am I mixed on this?

Is it a good single player experience?
