Shownotes

All over the country small towns and big cities are making new adjustments to manage through what, hopefully, will be the final round of this 2020 lifestyle. The vaccine is on the way and I think we have every reason to be optimistic about a freer future. But addressing the here and now … what do you do for the holidays? You’ve already been making product in preparation for the shows. Or maybe you have an alternate plan in place yet still feel like you need to be doing more to drive sales this season – but what?!?

Announcing The At Home Holiday Craft & Gift Show

I’ve partnered with Holli and Robert from At Home Events to present the At Home Holiday Craft and Gift Show on December 6th.

Boost Holiday Sales

This is your golden ticket to holiday sales. And perhaps for you, a replacement for recently canceled in-person shows. It’s your answer to selling all the holiday-themed products you’ve already made. Plus, even if you hadn't planned any holiday shows this year, here’s your chance to do something similar without having to guess how much product to bring, worry about whether it sells, or deal with all the setup and teardown of a physical show All that – plus the opportunity to get into a national show with an experienced and professional team that has virtual event planning figured out.

Visibility & List Building Opportunities

Almost everything is done for you already. And visibility opportunities are baked right into the program. Not to mention the email list building potential. This is everything we always talk about to put on a successful show.

Customers Are Already Signing Up

Guess what? The Facebook Ads driving attendees to the show have already started. Yep - customers who will show up to your booth, see your products, and are specifically looking for holiday gifts are already signing up to participate, as we speak.

Show Details

When you purchase a booth at the At Home Craft and Gift Show, you’ll be participating in a nationwide marketplace.

Your Custom Booth Page

You’ll get your very own Booth Page customized with your:
  • branded header
  • logo
  • product photos
  • videos
  • social media
  • and website links
Customers will be able to buy right from that page where product orders go through to your current shopping cart system. So no extra payment setups are required.

Real-Time Interaction With Customers

What makes this show stand out from others is the online video conference and text chat features where you can interact in real-time with attendees. They can visit your virtual booth, read about your company, and buy your products by themselves. But they can also request to talk with you either face-to-face or audio/text only to ask questions, give you details on a custom order they want to place, or just to say “hi.”

At-Home Shopping For You & Your Customers

All of this is done from the comfort of home. Your customers can shop on a Sunday afternoon from their couch, kitchen table, or wherever. Normally, they might have been out at a local craft show or church bazaar buying gifts and stocking stuffers right now … but they can’t this year. This is even better! I see virtual shows like these continuing to be part of the mix moving forward. People are now so comfortable with Zoom, it’s just like picking up the phone. That means virtual shows, which may have been more challenging this time last year, are now accepted and welcomed.

Setup & Sales Support

This all sounds great I know – and there’s more! The At Home folks have two live trainings with backup recordings to help you. You can access them live where you can also ask questions or by recorded replay if you need them.

Training 1: Setup Your Online Booth

One covers how to set up your online booth. I’ve seen the interface and most can put it together in an hour or two. But if you’re concerned or think you’re tech0challenged, there will be at least two of us available to assist, if needed.

Training 2: Interacting With Customers

The second training is on how your space should look when someone comes on and wants to talk with you during the event. Suggestions, ideas, and tips to help make that sale happen just by way of visual representation. Included in this training is how to manage your booth:
  • which buttons to push to allow someone to see you
  • how to use text chat
  • and things like that.
All this so that by the time the show starts, you’ll be well prepared with a professional online booth and know exactly how to manage your customers and sales.

Day of Show Support

This assistance continues the day of the show … so you'll never feel alone or unsure about what to do to make this the best virtual booth experience possible for both you and your customers.

Show Date & Time

The At Home Craft and Gift Show is December 6th from 12-4pm EST. But get this - your booth will be visible all the way through the holiday to December 31st. This gives you the opportunity to:
  • ride the wave of being connected with the show
  • use your custom branded social media graphics
  • even change out products for the New Year
  • or add a new promotion as the holiday gets closer
You're in complete and total control.

Steps to Exhibit

Register for your booth at giftbizunwrapped.com/AtHomeBooth Then:
  • login to your booth page and input information you already have to set up your virtual exhibit space
  • Highly Recommended--> create a giveaway, sweepstakes, or some reason for people to give you their email for list building - we can help you with this if needed
  • use the custom graphic you are provided to announce your participation in the show on all your social media channels
  • promote your booth to your email list with how they can get a ticket to attend using the easy email template you will be given
(Imagine the increased attendance on top of what the Facebook ads bring in when ALL the vendors send out emails to their audience. Mass Extended Visibility!) The LIVE SHOW will take place on December 6th, where you:
  • or someone you designate is available at your booth to talk with attendees
  • continue to use the power of the At Home Craft and Gift Show to direct attendees to your virtual booth
  • process and fill orders that come in through December 31st
That's it! Easy, professional, and waiting for you. All you need to do is grab your booth.

Reserve Your Booth Now (spaces are limited)

Given the short time frame, we are limiting booth vendors to 50. The limit is in place to ensure that participating vendors get the attention they need. I want this first show to give ALL vendors the very best experience. The At Home Craft and Gift Show is your perfect way to end 2020 with a celebratory bang! Bring in more holiday sales, add to your email, customer, and prospect list, and set yourself up for an amazing 2021. You know what they say about momentum - it starts by getting the ball rolling. And in this case, it's grabbing your booth before they're all gone. So go directly to giftbizunwrapped.com/athomebooth

Speaker:

Hi, there it Sue,

Speaker:

are you surprised to hear for me on a Saturday that's

Speaker:

because 2020 has turned into the year of the unexpected and

Speaker:

I'm only following suit Last night at 7:00 PM.

Speaker:

Sharp. I got an alarm on my phone,

Speaker:

you know,

Speaker:

that blaring body jolting sound when there's an Amber alert.

Speaker:

Luckily it wasn't that,

Speaker:

but it was to alert my community that we are now

Speaker:

officially at a more advanced level of lockdown.

Speaker:

I know you're in a similar situation all over the country,

Speaker:

small towns and big cities are making new adjustments to manage

Speaker:

through what hopefully will be the final round of this 2020

Speaker:

lifestyle. The vaccine is on the way,

Speaker:

and I think we have every reason to be optimistic for

Speaker:

a freer future,

Speaker:

but addressing the here and now the holiday season coming up

Speaker:

last week,

Speaker:

I started hearing rumblings that even some of the socially distanced

Speaker:

in-person craft shows that you've signed up for are being,

Speaker:

if not questioned,

Speaker:

already canceled,

Speaker:

given that what do you do for the holidays?

Speaker:

You've already been making product and preparation for the shows,

Speaker:

or maybe you've had an alternative plan in place yet still

Speaker:

feel like you need to be doing something more to drive

Speaker:

sales this season.

Speaker:

But what I've been asking the same question,

Speaker:

because even though we keep talking about how important and valuable

Speaker:

Facebook and Instagram live shows are right now,

Speaker:

I know a lot of you just can't get yourself to

Speaker:

do one.

Speaker:

If you've been following me for awhile,

Speaker:

you know,

Speaker:

I believe in the law of attraction.

Speaker:

Well, it's at work again right here in my life because

Speaker:

this week has brought the answer to this question of how

Speaker:

in a very unexpected way,

Speaker:

cue the applause and the fireworks for this brand new sales

Speaker:

opportunity. That's now available to you.

Speaker:

Literally, we have organized and put this together within the last

Speaker:

48 hours.

Speaker:

You see I've partnered with Holly and Robert from at home

Speaker:

events to present the at-home holiday craft and gift show on

Speaker:

December 6th.

Speaker:

Yes, you're hearing me right December 6th of this year,

Speaker:

like in two weeks,

Speaker:

this is your golden ticket to holiday sales.

Speaker:

And perhaps for you,

Speaker:

a replacement of these newly canceled shows,

Speaker:

it's how you can still sell all the holiday theme product

Speaker:

to that you've already made.

Speaker:

And guess what,

Speaker:

if you weren't planning an in-person show this year,

Speaker:

here's a chance to do something similar without having to guess

Speaker:

how much product you should bring worrying about whether it sells

Speaker:

and deal with all the setup and tear down of a

Speaker:

physical show,

Speaker:

all that plus the opportunity,

Speaker:

get into a national show with an experienced and professional team

Speaker:

that has virtual event planning all figured out.

Speaker:

That means almost everything is done for you already.

Speaker:

And the visibility opportunities are baked right into the program.

Speaker:

Along with email list,

Speaker:

building potential and everything we talk about to put on a

Speaker:

successful show.

Speaker:

All you need to do is follow the steps clear,

Speaker:

easy, and with help along the way.

Speaker:

Oh, and did I tell you yet that the Facebook ads

Speaker:

driving attendees to the show have already started?

Speaker:

Yup. About the time this podcast goes live,

Speaker:

we've started signing up people who will show up at your

Speaker:

booth, see your products and are specifically looking for holiday gifts.

Speaker:

Are you as excited as I am?

Speaker:

This is an incredible opportunity and why I decided to totally

Speaker:

clear my schedule for the next two weeks to make this

Speaker:

happen for you.

Speaker:

Let me share with you some more details.

Speaker:

When you purchase a booth at the at home craft and

Speaker:

gift show,

Speaker:

you'll be participating in a nationwide marketplace.

Speaker:

You'll have your very own booth page customized with a branded

Speaker:

header logo,

Speaker:

your product photos,

Speaker:

videos, social media,

Speaker:

and website links.

Speaker:

Customers will be able to buy right from that page where

Speaker:

product orders go through to your current shopping cart system.

Speaker:

So there's no extra payment setups required by you at all.

Speaker:

What makes this show stand out from others is the online

Speaker:

video conference and chat features where you can interact real time

Speaker:

with attendees.

Speaker:

They can visit your virtual booth,

Speaker:

read about your company and buy your products by themselves,

Speaker:

but they can also request to talk with you either face

Speaker:

to face or through audio or text to ask questions,

Speaker:

give you details on a custom order that they want to

Speaker:

place or just to pop in and say,

Speaker:

hi. And all of this is done from the comfort of

Speaker:

home. Your customers can be shopping on a Sunday afternoon from

Speaker:

their couch,

Speaker:

kitchen table,

Speaker:

wherever. When in normal times they may have been out at

Speaker:

their local craft show or church,

Speaker:

bizarre buying gifts and stocking stuffers.

Speaker:

They can't do that this year.

Speaker:

I see these virtual shows continuing to be part of the

Speaker:

mix. Moving forward.

Speaker:

People are now comfortable with zoom.

Speaker:

It's just like picking up the phone these days.

Speaker:

So that means virtual shows.

Speaker:

While last year,

Speaker:

this time may have been more challenging are now accepted and

Speaker:

welcomed. This all sounds great.

Speaker:

I know,

Speaker:

but guess what?

Speaker:

There's more,

Speaker:

the at-home folks have two live trainings with backup recordings to

Speaker:

help you along.

Speaker:

You can access them live where you'll be able to ask

Speaker:

questions or by recorded replay.

Speaker:

If you need them.

Speaker:

One covers how to set up online booth.

Speaker:

I've already seen the behind the scenes interface,

Speaker:

and I'm telling you,

Speaker:

most of you are going to be able to put this

Speaker:

together in an hour or two,

Speaker:

but if you're concerned or you think you're tech challenged,

Speaker:

there are going to be two of us.

Speaker:

If not three,

Speaker:

available to assist you if needed.

Speaker:

The second training is on how your space should look when

Speaker:

someone comes on and talks to you during the live event.

Speaker:

So suggestions,

Speaker:

ideas, and tips to help make that sale happen just by

Speaker:

the way of visual representation included in this training is also

Speaker:

specific management of your booth.

Speaker:

So which buttons to push.

Speaker:

So you can allow someone to see you,

Speaker:

how you would work.

Speaker:

The text chat features,

Speaker:

things like that.

Speaker:

All of this is being done so that by the time

Speaker:

the show starts,

Speaker:

you'll be well-prepared with a professional online booth and know exactly

Speaker:

how to manage your customers and sales.

Speaker:

This assistance continues the day of the show too.

Speaker:

So you'll never feel alone or not sure what to do

Speaker:

to make this the best virtual booth experience possible for both

Speaker:

you and your customers.

Speaker:

The end at home craft and gift show is December 6th,

Speaker:

from 12 to four Eastern standard time.

Speaker:

But get this,

Speaker:

your booth will be visible all the way through the holidays.

Speaker:

So through December 31st,

Speaker:

this gives you an opportunity to ride the wave of being

Speaker:

connected with the show,

Speaker:

using your custom branded social media graphics,

Speaker:

and even change out product.

Speaker:

So you could input later new year's designs or a special

Speaker:

promotion that you want to use as the holiday gets closer.

Speaker:

You're in complete and total control give you the step-by-step of

Speaker:

what happens when you book a booth.

Speaker:

The first thing you do is you register for your booth

Speaker:

and you do that by going to gift biz,

Speaker:

unwrapped.com/at home booth,

Speaker:

then you'll get login information for your individual booth page,

Speaker:

where you'll input information.

Speaker:

You already have to set up your virtual exhibit space.

Speaker:

Next you'll want to create a giveaway or some reason for

Speaker:

people to give you their email for list building,

Speaker:

and also for a connection after the show,

Speaker:

we can help you figure that out.

Speaker:

If you're a little uncertain here,

Speaker:

you'll also at this point,

Speaker:

be provided with a custom graphic to use in social media,

Speaker:

showing that you're linked to the at home show and also

Speaker:

an email script to send out announcements,

Speaker:

telling people that you'll be at the show and how they

Speaker:

can get their ticket to attend.

Speaker:

Imagine the increased intendance on top of what we're bringing in

Speaker:

with Facebook ads,

Speaker:

when all the vendors send out emails,

Speaker:

mass extended visibility,

Speaker:

then on December 6th,

Speaker:

you or someone else that you've chosen will be at your

Speaker:

virtual booth to talk with the show attendees.

Speaker:

And finally you'll process orders that come in from the show

Speaker:

and any ongoing orders that come in through the end of

Speaker:

the year.

Speaker:

That's it easy,

Speaker:

professional and waiting just for you.

Speaker:

All you need to do is grab your booth,

Speaker:

but fast because given the short timeframe here,

Speaker:

we're limited in booth vendors to 50,

Speaker:

you may ask why would we set a limit?

Speaker:

I mean,

Speaker:

we all know that online,

Speaker:

there can be as many booths as we want.

Speaker:

I specifically made this request because let's face it.

Speaker:

We have two weeks and I want to make sure that

Speaker:

this experience is the very best possible for all vendors.

Speaker:

So putting a cap on this very first show I do

Speaker:

with at-home events makes it possible to ensure that everybody gets

Speaker:

the attention they need.

Speaker:

So there you have it.

Speaker:

The at-home craft and gift show is your way to end

Speaker:

2020 with a celebratory bang,

Speaker:

bring in more holiday sales,

Speaker:

add to your email customer and prospect list and set yourself

Speaker:

up for an amazing 2021.

Speaker:

You know what they say about momentum.

Speaker:

It starts by getting the ball rolling.

Speaker:

In this case,

Speaker:

it's grabbing a booth before they're all gone.
