Another week and we still haven’t been cancelled. This week, we begin by trying to do our best to get cancelled. Rohit recounts his tale of racial profiling, leading to Miguel and Sen telling their own stories of racial vilification. In the end, it was concluded that the boys are probably dishing more racial abuse than they are receiving.
Next up we discuss a radical plan to send millions of samples of sperm to the moon, with the boys offering a few thousand samples themselves. Make sure to keep an eye out for Moon Critical Banter made from our space cum.
A new game this week with “Song the Guess,” where Sen presents Miguel and Rohit with some song lyrics in reverse and they must try and guess the song and artist. Traditionally, Critical Banter hasn't been very good with music based games - and this is no different to the others.
“Mind Your Manners” returns this week, as we ponder some of life’s more trickier social scenarios. This week is all about friends. We dissect the nuances and etiquette surrounding friendship and the “Friendship Pyramid” - in particular, the instragram close friends conundrum, should best friends be reciprocated, how many best friends can you have and does the time you take to pay someone back change depending on where they are on your “Friendship Pyramid.”
Also this week: Casual racism, casual misogyny, hokey pokey and imaginary friends.
Segments this week:
The Logue: Tired of reaching around each other (at least on the podcast), the boys have instead decided to reach around the week’s news stories, events and viral trends.
Song the Guess: The boys are presented with song lyrics and they must guess the correct song - except the lyrics are in reverse!
Mind Your Manners: The boys discuss the dos and don’ts and correct etiquette to help you out of your next awkward social scenario.
