Quotables

  • How do we engage our thinkers? How do we get our students thinking in our classrooms and how do we get them more curious?
  • One of the best compliments or feedback we can receive is when the bell rings and the students say, “Wow, that went by fast!”
  • We discovered that what we really need to focus on are, “What are the elements that make moments in our math class?”
  • Caring about kids and who they are is an important part of teaching.
  • Two key characteristics teachers should have is being reflective and being open.
