Shownotes

In this podcast: Convo with Kyle: Bishop Rhoades explains and urges support for the DREAM ACT of 2017. A new bipartisan legislation that protects undocumented immigrant youth from deportation and also provides them with a path to legalization. Bishop then talks about St. Augustine, and his search for truth and ultimate conversion, as well as the role his mother, St. Monica, played. Afterwards, Bishop talks about St. John the Baptist, a Saint who dedicated his life to Christ and was eventually martyred for it. Listener Questions: Is it okay to disagree with the Pope? What is appropriate dress for Mass? Is it okay for a Catholic to watch the HBO series Game of Thrones? When we attend Mass in a special location (outside, grotto, etc.), what are we supposed to do when we can’t kneel during the consecration? Stand, sit, try to kneel anyway? ------ Truth in Charity is brought to you in part by Notre Dame Federal Credit Union. ------ Live: www.redeemerradio.com follow us on social media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram @RedeemerRadio Submit your question(s): Call / Text (Holy Cross College text line) - 260-436-9598 Online - www.RedeemerRadio.com/AskBishop E-mail - AskBishop@RedeemerRadio.com Subscribe to the Podcast: iTunes | Google Play | SoundCloud | RSS
