The company works with innovators, social change agents, and tech companies to bring their best ideas to the world. As a journalist, she worked for several newspapers and the AP. Then, she made the move from print to digital when she helped launch USAToday.com - just before venturing off into the land of tech PR during the dotcom boom. During that time, she met tech giants and co-founded a VC platform. During that time, she also became a blogging pioneer as, some argue, the first person to put her life online in blog and cam form. When Blogger launched, she became one of its first bloggers—which meant fun perks, like my choice of Gmail address for being a Blogger / Google influencer (except the word “influencer” didn’t exist back then!). While in college, she was the managing editor for the student-run newspaper, The Daily Athenaeum. She is only one of two college students in the U.S. who managed a paper with a $1M budget. While in college, she also freelanced for Newsweek, was a “stringer” for the Associated Press, and worked at the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review on weekends covering crime. As a marketing and public relations consultant, she has worked on more than 1,000 projects for hundreds of clients, including the House of Representatives, USDA and The Washington Times. She also worked as an employee to help launch AOL co-founder Steve Case’s Revolution, turned her blogging hobby into a media company, bootstrapping, launching and running a pop-politics blog with 3M monthly readers. For this venture, she gained $1.5M in funding. It was the first media website of its kind to get regular White House and presidential candidate access, taking its fans through the 2012 U.S. Presidential Election with insightful behind-the-scenes clips. Due to this, she is considered in the top 2% of female entrepreneurs. Vult Lab works with brands to build their own communities. She and her team members have worked with brands you know and love, including: •Starbucks •HP •United Nations •Conservation International •Adobe •Jamba Juice •Prince William’s Royal Foundation •Results for Development •Opportunity@Work •OZY •Third Eye Blind She also serves on several nonprofit boards, she is a Capital One ambassador, an Adobe Insider, a UN Global Compact Global Opportunity Lab participant, and a Lonely Whale (#StopSucking For A Strawless Ocean) ambassador. Currently, Vult Lab’s partners and clients do work in 50+ countries around the globe.
