The Paradigm must change or the results will remain the same. You can read a million books, go to the retreat, take the courses, hire a coach, attend a seminar or sit on a mountaintop in Bhutan for weeks on end; but unless you change the old paradigms your results will remain the same.

Sure, from time to time you may experience some incremental growth but more than likely, not the quantum leap growth we would all like to experience! The paradigm keeps us locked in to the status quo. It takes no more effort either to make those quantum leaps, we just have to change the programming!
