Conduit of Creativity

We are all conduits of creativity. We pluck ideas from the ethers, or the ideas float by like invisible clouds. Through effort, crafting, and refinement we usher the idea into the world.

In this Coffee Break, we talk about the process of bringing ideas to life and cultivating our own flow state. The more we are willing to show up for our work, hobby or business, then the more we are open to “The Flow” of ideas.

Rituals and Symbols

Having a ritual and/or symbols to evoke your creativity and muse can be helpful.

LeAura has a rock with the word “Create” etched into it that often sits on or by her laptop. It serves as both a reminder of what she loves doing and an affirmation.

I (Devani) use my Laptop screen saver space to keep a quote or vision board style image to invoke a goal I’m working towards, or some personal/professional growth I’m seeking. While that image changes every several months depending on what I’m working on, the current image is this Venn Diagram:

We hope you enjoy this Coffee Break and share your tools, symbols, and rituals that keep you on track! You can always email us: We’d love to hear from you. 🙂
