clients having breakthroughs. And I do, I mean, I don't know.

If there's a greater high for me, then when we see a client

just start to make the kind of revenue that they've always

wanted to make. Because it doesn't just change their life,

right? It changes the lives of people in their family, it

changes. It changes the opportunities for their clients,

often, it has a domino effect out into the nonprofits that

they're part of because they have more money, right? There's

Unknown:

just so many incredible things. And then it changes legacies,

right. Because if you have children, and they see you

Unknown:

working successfully in a business and bringing more money

Unknown:

in, right, that you can make different choices with it

Unknown:

changes how they see what's possible for them. And so I want

Unknown:

to give a shout out to all of you, you know, whether it's your

children, or your nieces and nephews, or whoever's watching

Unknown:

you, someone's watching you, so shout out to all of you for, for

sticking with it. I know that I know that having gone through

the past two years, has been extraordinarily challenging for

business owners. And that's probably a massive

understatement. I know it's been hard to get up every day and

keep running your business. And I know for a lot of us, we've

had to develop these little bubbles that we live in to stay

Unknown:

positive for our clients and to keep everything going. So just

Unknown:

hats off to you for being willing to, to just stay in it

Unknown:

and keep going because I promise you it's going to pay off. Today

Unknown:

I'm going to talk about the the first five strategy. So this

Unknown:

show part one, part two is going to cover 10 strategies to exceed

Unknown:

your quantum revenue goal in 2022. So not just meet it, but

Unknown:

really exceed it. Okay. And these are tried and true

Unknown:

strategies that I use, that our clients use. These are

Unknown:

strategies that we coach around a lot of times, this is what I'm

Unknown:

looking for, when I'm talking with our clients, like what have

Unknown:

we missed, you know, like, what's, where it Where are they

Unknown:

stuck? What are they missing? Like? Where, like, what part is

Unknown:

it? And so, you know, I'll share some stories along the way too.

Unknown:

And how this has shown these things have shown up for me or

Unknown:

how these strategies have helped me or they've helped other

Unknown:

clients. And my hope, and my prayer is that if you've been

Unknown:

feeling stuck, or maybe you're stuck at a certain income

Unknown:

ceiling, maybe you even feel like you're a little bit

Unknown:

backwards as the year have started. Maybe you're just Oh,

Unknown:

like things aren't feeling right for you. I feel you and I hope

Unknown:

this gets you unstuck. For others of you. If you're like

Unknown:

yeah, I'd pretty good 2021 But I'm ready to like kick it up in

Unknown:

2022. This is definitely for you. And for those of you who

Unknown:

rocked 2021 You're like what's next? This is an opportunity for

Unknown:

you to think about these strategies from the perspective

Unknown:

of your next level, your next revenue level, whatever that is,

Unknown:

right. So, you know, if you've been at 50,000, it's time for

Unknown:

80,000. How can these strategies help you get there in lightning

Unknown:

speed? Okay. All right. Yes, I'm excited. Okay. Here we go.

Unknown:

Again, first five strategies we'll go through today. Strategy

Unknown:

number one. Want to keep this really like? I know, this is

Unknown:

like 10 strategies. It sounds so Elementary. I'm just going to go

Unknown:

through a list at the same time. One of the things I feel like we

Unknown:

do as business owners is overcomplicate everything right,

Unknown:

we just we make it more complicated than it needs to be.

Unknown:

It doesn't doesn't need to be complicated. And so let's find

Unknown:

some beauty in the simplicity. And if you hear background noise

Unknown:

my son's around the office somewhere. So he is doing school

Unknown:

from here today. So we'll see. We'll see what happens. I know

Unknown:

all the parents out there like Yeah, been there did that

Unknown:

sometimes it sounds like a dinosaur is like coming through.

Unknown:

Alright, so here we go. Strategy number one is to get crystal

Unknown:

clear. get crystal clear on what you want. Now, recently on one

Unknown:

of the solo shows I talked about, you know, following your

Unknown:

heart's desire and really that that's even more important than

Unknown:

whatever goals you've written down, right, like really getting

Unknown:

to your heart's desire.

Unknown:

Getting crystal clear also means being granular, like really

Unknown:

breaking down the goal and breaking it down even more. So

Unknown:

look at what's there from a quantum revenue standpoint.

Unknown:

Okay, this means breaking your goal down to the ridiculous so

Unknown:

you know exactly, you know exactly How many new clients or

Unknown:

customers you need to reach that goal? And again, this sounds

Unknown:

simple, but I find a lot of people miss that point. It's one

Unknown:

of the reasons that the 2x intensive, we start with what we

Unknown:

call a model month template, if you could design your perfect

Unknown:

month, right, what would that month look like? And what would

Unknown:

you be selling? To whom would you be selling it to? How many

Unknown:

of those do you have to sell to get there? What that forces you

Unknown:

to do is is to look at the pieces to look at the pieces of

Unknown:

your business to look at pricing, to look at packaging,

Unknown:

to look at your ideal client, we've had another client. So one

Unknown:

of the things you do before you come to the treks intensive,

Unknown:

because you fill out the model month template. And so client

Unknown:

recently just filled that out and emailed me this long email

Unknown:

just talking about how much clarity that one exercise

Unknown:

brought her. And she was just blown away by the detail of it

Unknown:

and what what she learned because what it showed her is

Unknown:

what needs to change your business right now. And on the

Unknown:

one hand, it was painful. She's like, that was so painful to

Unknown:

look at that. On the other hand, she's like, well, this is what

Unknown:

would allow us to double our business again this year. And

Unknown:

for her to be significant, six, multi six figures as she's

Unknown:

working toward her million dollar business. So getting

Unknown:

crystal clear is the first strategy. And this is for any

Unknown:

goal in life, right? Whether it's a business goal, whether

Unknown:

it's a personal goal, if you don't know where what you want,

Unknown:

it can't show up for you. There's no way. It's like, it's

Unknown:

like if you if you want to go to California, which being in

Unknown:

Minnesota in the middle of winter, sounds lovely. But I put

Unknown:

in Colorado, right? If I put in call because I'm like what I

Unknown:

think I want I want to get to California, I think Colorado is

Unknown:

kind of on the way, let's just see what happens. When you're

Unknown:

gonna get to Colorado, it's just like, if you say, I think I you

Unknown:

know, I want to hit a million this year in revenue, but I'll

Unknown:

sell for 300,000. You're that's where 300,000 is Colorado,

Unknown:

that's where you're gonna end up. So this piece of crystal

Unknown:

clarity is key. Statistically, you are 99% more likely to

Unknown:

achieve your goals by writing them down. I will say that over

Unknown:

and over and over again. Because also statistically only about

Unknown:

10% of the population writes their goals down. Now we might

Unknown:

do it once in a while, we might do the beginning a year and then

Unknown:

we forget. And we're like why am I stuck at this income level?

Unknown:

Well, because you haven't written it down again, we

Unknown:

haven't written the next level of it down.

Unknown:

So get crystal clear on what you want, and then write it down. So

Unknown:

kind of touch about the strategy number one, get

Unknown:

crystal clear strategy number two, actually write it down. And

Unknown:

again, break it down to the ridiculous because when you

Unknown:

start to see your, for example, model month broken down to the

Unknown:

ridiculous. Most people will say, there's an easier way to

Unknown:

get there, then I thought, Oh, I could do this to get there. So

Unknown:

it brings it just like the path to get there starts to unfold

Unknown:

before you. Okay, so really, really key, then. So now we've

Unknown:

gotten crystal clear sight of what we want. We've written it

Unknown:

down, clearly, and we broken it down to the ridiculous. The

Unknown:

third strategy, I like to call this check yourself. This, this

Unknown:

is where you get to ask yourself what you believe about what

Unknown:

you've written down. Because it's one thing to be, you know,

Unknown:

like, let's say you're in high energy, and you're excited about

Unknown:

the year and you're writing your goals down, you're actually

Unknown:

giving yourself permission to write down what you want. You're

Unknown:

not disqualifying yourself, you're not editing yourself,

Unknown:

right? All the things that you might do. Then let's say you

Unknown:

like you, maybe you were at a retreat doing this, or you had a

Unknown:

coffee shop or the interview type and you you go home or you

Unknown:

go to your home office, or you go to your office and a doubt

Unknown:

creeps in. It could come from anything like just you see the

Unknown:

news right now, right? You're like, you feel the anxiety and

Unknown:

fear like that, you know, the news loves to program us with

Unknown:

and it hits you and you're like, oh my gosh, like this is totally

Unknown:

gonna affect my year what I want is impossible. How often does

Unknown:

that happen? Or you talk to someone, it could even be a

Unknown:

friend or a family member. And like you're just so you're in

Unknown:

there like hey, you're in a great mood and you say yeah, you

Unknown:

know, I just wrote my goals down super excited about this year.

Unknown:

Oh really what you write And you make the mistake of telling

Unknown:

them, and they look at you, and it brings up all their issues.

Unknown:

And so they they spew on you and they say, Well, you know, you're

Unknown:

gonna have you think you can double your sales in this

Unknown:

economy, you think you can double your sales in a pandemic,

Unknown:

right? Like whatever they say, they spew something on you. And

Unknown:

it takes you down this rabbit hole, and you let go, you're

Unknown:

like, Well, yeah, they're probably right. I'm not gonna, I

Unknown:

probably can't do that, or slow pipes are slow probably doesn't

Unknown:

know what she's talking about, right? Like, it's not possible

Unknown:

for me. So you start to make up the stories and you start to go

Unknown:

back to your limiting beliefs. And so this is why I say check

Unknown:

yourself. Strategy number three is to check yourself constantly.

Unknown:

When those limiting beliefs come in, or when someone wants to

Unknown:

gift you with one. Those are my favorite. Check yourself, you

Unknown:

get to say, hey, now, I'm not taking that on. If you have to

Unknown:

develop an armor around you that says no, I am not taking that

Unknown:

belief on. I do not believe that limiting belief is ever done.

Unknown:

That is not true for me. Or my old favorite. I think this came

Unknown:

from Jack Canfield is canceled, cancel. A lot of people say that

Unknown:

I love saying that it annoys a lot of people around me when I

Unknown:

do it, because I do it regularly. But I think they also

Unknown:

probably appreciate it. If someone says something that's

Unknown:

super negative, I'll just say cancel, cancel, not taking that

Unknown:

on. Or sometimes if I'm around people who I don't know, well,

Unknown:

in my head, I'm just like, cancel, cancel, cancel, cancel

Unknown:

that cancel, cancel, cancel that. Walk away. Okay? That much

Unknown:

armor, you probably need it more than ever, we're in an

Unknown:

interesting time in the world where just a lot of negative

Unknown:

energy floating around, it's not sticking to you don't let it do

Unknown:

not take on the fear and anxiety that is in the world today. It

Unknown:

is not yours. It's not yours. And frankly, I wish many would

Unknown:

stop spewing it. And I dream of a world where news is is as

Unknown:

possible positive things to say as well. Like what would that be

Unknown:

like? There used to be this website called Happy news. I'm

Unknown:

gonna have to Google it now a bunch of people google it, tell

Unknown:

me but there's a website called Happy news. And you can go there

Unknown:

for happy news, clearly, right? And so I thought that was

Unknown:

brilliant. I had this conversation with someone

Unknown:

recently who studies the media and all the negativity. And I

Unknown:

was like, Why? Why isn't there happy news? I mean, I kind of

Unknown:

knew why. But I thought Katie's work some man, right? Couldn't

Unknown:

we sprinkle some good news in and he said without skipping a

Unknown:

beat, he said, Happy news doesn't sell. No one clicks on

Unknown:

the happy news, or I think I do like, there's probably, you

Unknown:

know, you probably do, right, there's probably 25 of us who

Unknown:

click on the happy,

Unknown:

I'm just kidding. They don't click on the happy news. And

Unknown:

there's not a lot of it out there. So you got to find it, or

Unknown:

you got to create it yourself. If I had, if you would see

Unknown:

what's in my head and the amount of time I spend recalibrating my

Unknown:

beliefs and my thoughts, it's a lot like sometimes I feel like

Unknown:

that's kind of a it's kind of a full time job these days, let's

Unknown:

say part time, because I you know, I don't spend my full time

Unknown:

doing it, but it's a constant checking. And also, you know,

Unknown:

when there's a lot of negativity, you can also bring

Unknown:

up old stuff, like I've had old stuff circle that I, you know,

Unknown:

come up that I just thought had was long gone. And so I find

Unknown:

that interesting as well. It's like, wow, well, that's

Unknown:

interesting. And then the downside is that people places

Unknown:

things, situations will happen to confirm your old belief or

Unknown:

that that old belief is that could be an old belief about

Unknown:

scarcity or fear or whatever. And that's when again, you have

Unknown:

to be you have to have your arm around and say, No, not taking

Unknown:

that in. That is not mine. No, thank you. Back to sender. Bye,

Unknown:

bye, not mine. Not easy to do, to practice, invite you to check

Unknown:

yourself. So that's strategy number three. So so far, we've

Unknown:

talked about number one, get crystal clear, crystal clear on

Unknown:

what you want to write it down. Make it like to the granular

Unknown:

start to break it down into little tiny little pieces. Like

Unknown:

how would I get there? What does that look like? Three, check

Unknown:

yourself. Do not let the negativity and anxiety don't

Unknown:

take it on. I mean, it really is a choice. You don't have to live

Unknown:

in that stuff to you. And if other people choose to live in

Unknown:

it, you don't have to change them. You don't have to even

Unknown:

invite them to your fun party that's happening in your head.

Unknown:

Sometimes we just got to let people be you get to choose and

Unknown:

by choosing you get to be the example right you get to be you

Unknown:

get to live in your fun space, you get to live in your happy

Unknown:

space. Okay, for strategy number four. Once you've taken yourself

Unknown:

through those first three strategies, then the fourth

Unknown:

strategy is to rewrite YOUR Story. I love storytelling. I've

Unknown:

written I've actually written a fiction book now let people know

Unknown:

that you got to know some things to be able to find it. I love

Unknown:

writing stories in my JC fiction Yeah, fiction book, I've written

Unknown:

a fiction book, I've written five nonfiction books. And I've

Unknown:

written a children's book, which is sitting on a shelf somewhere

Unknown:

waiting for a few things to fall into place. But getting through

Unknown:

the pandemic was a big part of it. But anyway, in all of that,

Unknown:

I love to tell stories. And what I didn't realize is how powerful

Unknown:

story work really is. And that we as humans, are masterful

Unknown:

storytellers. And I want you to start notice that noticing the

Unknown:

stories you tell because I do it too, like, I'll be in the middle

Unknown:

of telling a story. And I'll think I'll be telling the story

Unknown:

this way, right? Because whenever something happens to

Unknown:

us, there's multiple ways to tell a story. Sometimes it's fun

Unknown:

to tell the very dramatic, painful emotional, like, we all

Unknown:

have that friend who tells the story like, you know, maybe they

Unknown:

someone almost ran into them on on, you know, on the freeway,

Unknown:

but didn't write like they're safe in town, everything's fine.

Unknown:

We have those friends who tell the story like they almost died,

Unknown:

right? It was it was like, one centimeter away. And maybe it

Unknown:

was maybe it wasn't, but they're safe. At the end of day,

Unknown:

Because they don't want to live in that that drama. Or if they

tell it, it's like, Yes, I'm going to see me on the freeway,

it was really cool to see how fast my reflexes were. And I

just like zoomed, you know, to the left or whatever, and

nothing happened. Everything's good, right? So it's also that

that perspective. So the whole point is this when you this is

the thing about how you tell stories, so that you can rewrite

Unknown:

your story. And a good exercise to practice is how, you know,

Unknown:

how you how you check your stories on a regular basis. So

Unknown:

this is even bigger than like, check yourself. This is like,

Unknown:

how do you tell a story of something that's happening to

Unknown:

you in your business, because if you tell it in a negative way,

Unknown:

it just gets worse. And it starts to spiral. And you start

Unknown:

to get more of that. And so if you're in a business such as

this, here's an example. I'm talking to a client recently who

Unknown:

felt like just in a downward spiral. And I said, stop, we got

Unknown:

to stop telling that story because their story really

Unknown:

wasn't true. And what was miraculous is when she stopped

Unknown:

or sama started to tell a new story about what was really

Unknown:

going on, which was all about up leveling her business and making

Unknown:

a lot of changes that had crept you know, caused some chaos

Unknown:

cleared the deck like fired clients, clients left, team

Unknown:

members left New team members came, like there was just all

Unknown:

this messiness happening, and all sudden, like, you know,

Unknown:

she's telling the story of scarcity, the world is ending

Unknown:

the business is going the wrong way. And I was like, nope, tell

Unknown:

a different story. Within a day, like a day and a half of telling

Unknown:

a new story, her business shifted. So if you want to

Unknown:

rewrite your story, First, identify the story you're

Unknown:

telling about your business now, and why it's not this or why

Unknown:

it's not that or why can't move forward, write it down, then

Unknown:

tear it up. And then write a new story. And a fun way to write a

Unknown:

new story is in we call this scripting is to imagine your

Unknown:

writing in a journal and, you know, put it 12 months out. So

Unknown:

imagine, it's December 31st 2022. And you've just had

Unknown:

the most incredible year, and you're sitting across from your

Unknown:

business partner, or your spouse, or your friend or

Unknown:

whoever, and you're telling them and I like to have our clients

Unknown:

imagine that they're actually sharing the story at a, like, on

Unknown:

a vacation or a dinner or somewhere really nice. So you

Unknown:

get in chat, you close your eyes and get your tongue in touch

Unknown:

with all your senses. And you imagine you're sharing this

Unknown:

story. And you're remembering what happened. And it's so

Unknown:

powerful when you when you imagine yourself remembering how

Unknown:

you got to your quantum stretch goal, like what your

Unknown:

subconscious brain brings out, like all the things that went

Unknown:

well. And once your subconscious brain grabs onto the story,

Unknown:

right, you open up your eyes, you write it down and you date

Unknown:

it like you dated December 31 2022. You write it as if it's

Unknown:

hat it's you're remembering it right you're writing as if it

Unknown:

already happened. It's one of the most powerful tools that

Unknown:

I've ever used. And if you've hung out with me for a while,

Unknown:

you've probably heard me talk about it before but I wrote

Unknown:

about it in the belief selling and just how to do it and like

Unknown:

to keep doing that and keep coming back to the story or just

Unknown:

go back and reread that story regularly. Because brings you

Unknown:

into the energy of it's already done. That's what one of my

Unknown:

coaches said, she always says, Well, what do you want? And I

Unknown:

tell her, she's like, well be in the energy of it's already done.

Unknown:

If it's already done, then what? So powerful. Now, the fifth

Unknown:

strategy, remember, we're going to cover five today, the fifth

Unknown:

strategy of the 10 is once you've done this work, and

Unknown:

you've written, you've written the new story, it's on paper,

Unknown:

then you make a decision that you're not going to stop, you

Unknown:

make a decision that you're all in, you make a decision that

energetically This is it, I'm done. It's happening. It's

already like in motion. Now, doubt and fear can creep in. And

Unknown:

this is where you check yourself on the radio. It's like, nope,

not taking that on. Not living in that. I don't believe that

Unknown:

story. And you keep doing the work of like, No way, I'm not

Unknown:

taking it on and you keep going, you keep going, you keep going,

Unknown:

I guarantee you, things are gonna happen, they're gonna

Unknown:

throw you, you're gonna be like, Oh, my gosh, see, this can't

Unknown:

happen from you're gonna want to go back to your old story. But

Unknown:

you can't. You have to stay in the energy. And the decision of

Unknown:

this is it this is this is what I'm creating next, no matter

Unknown:

what that is what successful people do. They keep going. they

Unknown:

persevere, even when things look off, or situations or

Unknown:

circumstances show up that in the past would have taken you

Unknown:

off your path. It could be anything could be a client

Unknown:

firing you, it could be someone saying no to your products or

Unknown:

services, it could be a team member quitting. It could be

Unknown:

Believe me, it's someone stealing from you. It could be

Unknown:

anything, doesn't matter what it is. I guarantee you some things

Unknown:

will happen. Especially when you set a big goal like things

Unknown:

Things will get, things can get a little wonky. I've had many of

Unknown:

those, I call them interesting and call them wonky. I don't

Unknown:

want to be super negative about it. But you know what I'm saying

Unknown:

like, stuff happens. And it'll threaten to pull you out of your

Unknown:

game. And this is when you have to say absolutely not. I'm

Unknown:
