In this episode of Over the Teacup Sunday: Are you feeling a little off? Has your recent life been feeling a little chaotic? Has your computer or dishwasher suddenly decided to backtalk you and go to hell in a hand basket? You may be experiencing the effects of Mercury in retrograde. Mercury in retrograde, a relatively common astronomical event, and a phenomenon that occurs when planet Mercury appears to be moving backward in its orbit around the sun.

We’ll explore the science and superstition behind Mercury in retrograde and see if there is any truth behind it. So, join us, as we dive deep into this mysterious phenomenon. Welcome to one more thing before you go over the teacup Sunday with Michael and Diane.

To truly understand what Mercury in retrograde is, let’s take a step back and look at how the planets move. You see, all the planets in our solar system, including Mercury, orbit around the sun. As this happens, the planets sometimes appear to move in a backward motion, or retrograde, from our perspective. This is what we call Mercury in retrograde. In 2023, Mercury will enter its retrograde three times in 2023, and will be in retrograde motion during the following dates: December 28, 2022, to January 18, 2023. April 21 to May 14. August 23 to September 14.  Find out more at https://beforeyougopodcast.com
