For many Christians, witnessing the events that have transpired in the last 18 months or so have many wondering “Where is God in all of this?” But, if you are honest with yourself, God is apparent through all of it. The COVID shutdowns, the economic problems, the issues overseas, everything! God is right there!
Now, I’m not saying He is causing all of these issues, but if you are honest with yourself, you KNOW God is with you, otherwise, you would not have survived to this point! Amen!
But too many Christians are “sleep-walking” through life. They are just existing, day to day. They have no joy. Almost no hope. Why is that?
Well, my guest today is going to tell you about how you can experience, “Positively Joy.”
Yvette Walker is a Christian journalist, educator and podcaster (Praise God)! She found herself, as she says, “sleep-walking through life.”
After hearing the call of God, she started a podcast called, “Positively Joy” as a ministry effort to discuss the struggles people face to walk in joy! On the podcast, on her blog and in her Facebook community, the Bible is studied and discussed and she helps people to find joy in the details of life. Her ministry serves Christian women through weekly, award winning podcast episodes; through uplifting weekly blog posts and through inspiring social media posts.

First question, other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Yvette Walker?”
Can you explain what it is you mean by “sleep-walking” in your faith?
You state that “joy is not a feeling – it’s faith.” Share with us how you came to understand that concept?
How can joy bring us into a deeper relationship with God? Shouldn’t we have that relationship AND THEN experience joy?
You have interviewed a lot of Christians on your podcast. Do you also do teachings or interviews only?
You say you help people to find God in the commonplaces of life. Can you explain that for us?
You have a booklet that explains the “5 Ways to Choose Joy.” Can you briefly share those 5 ways for us?
You attended the National Religious Broadcasters Conference in Texas a few months back. You met someone special there that most Christians know through a special television series. Would you share that with us?
You have also won an award from the “Spark Christian Conference.” Tell us about that?
Yvette, you are doing an awesome work for the Lord. Through your podcast, blog and social media, you really do not know how many people you are actually impacting with the Gospel.
