  • What causes the Vata Dosha to go out of balance
  • The Vata dosha is statistically speaking the first dosha to go out of balance
  • By the time we realize that the Vata dosha is out of balance, the issue has progressed too far and may manifest superficially as kapha out of balance
  • Vata is all about Space (Ether) and Air
  • Dosha in Sanskrit means that which can go wrong with you
  • Vata is inherently all about movement
  • The quality that dominates Vata is subtle (as opposed to the gross quality)
  • Anything that goes wrong with Vata can be too subtle for us to realize
  • The Space element is the container element and the most important of all elements because it is Space that determines the expression of the other elements
  • Having to stay home is taking the space element away from you which in turn can disturb the Vata dosha
  • The space element can be taken away from you physically and / or mentally
  • Every one is different and will be affected differently (kha vaigunya)
  • Having too much space can be as much of a problem as not having enough space
  • Fight, flight, freeze, flow - which one you experiencing right now?
