Melissa Deally:
Welcome back to another episode of health hacks as I continue sharing my favorite quotes to live by. And today's quote is who looks outside dreams, who looks inside, awakens by Carl young. And I love this quote because so often we look outside for external approval, external validation. We look outside for our own happiness, whereas the truth is, is that it all needs to come from within. Our own happiness needs to come from within. And there's research that's been done on people who've had plastic surgery and paid 1000s of dollars for plastic surgery, thinking, if I just look better, I'll be happier, and they have the plastic surgery and nothing changes, because that happiness needs to come from within. And so all of the answers as to who we are truly meant to be come from within and so what tools, what practices have you implemented so that you can go within yourself to find the answers to realize what it is that you are here on planet Earth to accomplish in this lifetime, to discover that your dreams may be bigger than what you think they are, that you can just see with your eyes. When we go within, we have access to our imagination, which is within our unconscious mind, which is the other 90% and has access to all of the resources. And when we're in our conscious mind, we're only in our 10% that's our thinking mind, and in our conscious mind, we can't begin to fathom the dreams, the solutions, the possibilities that we can fathom in our unconscious mind. Think about it. You know, if the Wright brothers were in their conscious mind, do you think they could have fathom the possibility of building a metal tube, or, in their case, the biplane and flying it in the sky, that would just seem ludicrous to the conscious mind, because they couldn't have the resources to be able to do that. And yet, in their unconscious mind, they knew that was their dream. They could see it coming together in their imagination, housed in their unconscious mind. And then the resources came and they kept you know, they would fail, and they would figure that out, and that was just a lesson. And they would go, Okay, that didn't work. Let's try something else. Right? Every major invention, the light bulb, that wasn't discovered in Edison's conscious mind, that was a download from within when he was in his imagination, going, what if, and trying to create something, and it didn't work, and it wasn't failure, it was feedback. And so all of our answers are within what do you do in order to access your inner wisdom and live a more aligned, awakened life. And when something doesn't work, do you give up and throw your hands up and consider that a failure? Or do you instead, realize this is feedback, and I'm going to keep on doing my best to get where I want to go. And what is your definition of success? That is a very personal definition. And so you also need to figure that out so that as you go through this process, your success is marked by your own internal definition of it, and not what society or the world deems success to be. So I would just love to ask you, how are you going to nurture your internal journey and step into the person that you're always meant to be. And if you would like some support with that, this is the transformational work that I take all of my clients on, whether it's for self or whether it's a training, so that they can take their clients on it, either way, this is powerful work that the world needs to know, because when we work with the unconscious mind, it is so much faster, so much more graceful and done with much more ease.
