Hello adventurers, and welcome to the World of Azuria podcast. In this episode, we dive into the world of Azuria with chapter two of Aurora, the prequel novella for the Age of Azuria high fantasy series. 

My name is Beth Ball, and I’m the author of the Age of Azuria high fantasy series, which we’ll be exploring in this podcast. In some episodes, we’ll dive into the high fantasy world of Azuria as I read chapters from the novels and stories. In others, we’ll uncover the lore behind Azuria and, I hope, answer your questions about the world, characters, and more.

Episode Summary

In Chapter Two, we follow a negata named Ridel as she spies on Dorric and Emelyee. She then diverts her attention to the rest of the Aurora estate, hoping to find objects of interest or intrigue more worthy of her attention.

Ridel speaks with her master, Lucien, and questions the necessity of her assignment. Why does he insist in following this scheme that primarily involves waiting? Aren't there more... expedient methods available?

But Lucien is unmoved, and Ridel returns to her supervision of the humans and elves mingling at Aurora, turning her gaze to Emelyee's husband, Calderon.
