Meet third generation owner, Tim Davison from Chumbley’s Auto Care in Indianola, IA. Chumbley’s got it roots as a service station over 59 years ago.

Tim Davison talks about those roots and how it has led to the very personal business it is today. Tim’s been in the industry for 35 years and 17 of them with Chumbley’s. The shop has four technicians and eight bays/lifts and they still pump fuel today!

Tim is married to wife Laura, and have two kids Chase, and Piper. He is a “Car Guy” and enjoys upgrading, detailing, and driving cars. I love a Sunday cruise in a Mazda MX5, or his old standby – a 1967 Chevy II Nova that was there for his first date, wedding and to bring his son home from the hospital.

Tim’s been recognized as a 2014 Midwest Facility of the Year and and for four years, a AAA Top Shop. Tim has his AAM from AMI and is an ASE Master L1.

Because of this, I am very passionate about ASA and what it has done, and continues for himself, and our industry. He gives back as the Vice President of the Des Moines Chapter of ASA, and I hold the Secretary position on the ASA Midwest Affiliate board in Kansas City. I also head up our local Shop Owner Support Group (SOS) with 10 members in the area. Tim is also past President of the local Napa Business Development Group.
