[2:14] Josh welcomes Hansel to Franchise Euphoria.

[2:47] Hansel shares how he and his business partner, Wayne, came up with the concept for The Coder School about five years ago.

[5:02] Prior to founding The Coder School, he worked previously as a School of Rock franchisee which was his first exposure in the franchising industry.

[6:03] Hansel walks through the process of the services offered at The Coder School and touches on how this has been modified due to COVID-19.

[8:55] In the beginning, Hansel and Wayne were doing a lot of the coaching for their classes, but they found that the key has been ensuring your staff has very disparate skills.

[11:49] Prior to the outbreak of coronavirus, Hansel’s philosophy had been structured around an in-person experience. However, after rolling out a virtual experience due to government shutdowns, he’s found it works better than expected and plans to use a hybrid approach going forward.

[15:57] When they first started franchising The Coder School, they took a very organic approach to spreading the word about the franchise and invested less than $1,000 in social marketing.

[18:25] The biggest quality The Coder School looks for in their franchisees is passion.

[21:22] The Coder School is currently developing some premade content to supplement their typical services.
