… 2022 can be so different.

The pandemic certainly gave me an opportunity to work on the muscle of not living from a place of fear. But if you really start to look around, most of the world is committed to getting back out there and to running our businesses, despite the fear, the scarcity and the programming that is out there right now.

Today I just want to invite you into that same line of thinking. 2022 is where you need to live your best year and step back into the dreams, the goals, and the amazingness that you want to create.

No more shrinking back. The reality is if we all stop living our heart's desires and our dreams we're just going to leave this world.

what I want to just talk about in terms of how we can support

can be so different. Like I was excited to leave 2021 behind us

it was our best year ever in business. I say that with GLEDE,

because many of our clients, most of our clients, I don't

Unknown:

even know like, we have to go back, I think almost all of our

Unknown:

clients, if not all of them had their best year in business

Unknown:

ever.

Unknown:

And I get frustrated, because I feel like there's some CEOs who,

Unknown:

who don't think that's possible for them, or have gotten so

Unknown:

pulled into the fear and the scarcity. And just the chaos

Unknown:

that's in the world today, or at least the chaos we see on

Unknown:

television, right or on the internet. And one of the things

Unknown:

I want to remind you of is like, Is that Well, you know, you can

Unknown:

turn on a major news network and feel like, like, literally

Unknown:

sometimes like the world is ending or seeing internet, a

Unknown:

headline on the internet. And it can just spark fear. I want to

Unknown:

remind you that that's what it's designed to do, right? That

Unknown:

people want you to click on Articles, they want to grab your

Unknown:

attention, we become so distracted, people are so busy

Unknown:

that it's like the headlines and the media have to be they have

Unknown:

to, you know, be louder than the other person, they have to be

Unknown:

more in the fear mongering, they have to scare you to open

Unknown:

something up. And I want you to start to pay attention to that.

Unknown:

And also to look around, you just want things I've been

Unknown:

doing. I've been looking around. And I've been looking at my

Unknown:

friends, family, other CEOs, and here's the thing. We don't all

Unknown:

live in fear. And we don't have to. I always say this, it's one

Unknown:

of the things that I used to live in a lot. And it's

Unknown:

something I've worked on. And something in the pandemic

Unknown:

certainly gave me an opportunity to work on the muscle of not

Unknown:

living from a place of fear. But if you really start to look

Unknown:

around, there's people most of the world, you know, we're

Unknown:

committed to getting back out there, we're committed to

Unknown:

running our businesses, in spite of the fear, and the scarcity

Unknown:

and the programming that is out there right now. And I just want

Unknown:

to invite you in that same line of thinking, and I'm not saying

Unknown:

I'm not saying there's no, I'm not a pandemic, I'm not saying

Unknown:

any of that, like, yes, there's a pandemic, yes, we need to

Unknown:

protect ourselves, you need to do what you need to do to

Unknown:

protect your family, you need to do what you need to do to

Unknown:

protect your children, you need to live your truth. And the flip

Unknown:

side of that is while doing that, you need to live your

Unknown:

life, you need to live your best year, you need to step back into

Unknown:

the dreams, the goals, the amazingness that you want to

Unknown:

create. Because if we all start to shrink back, if we all stop

Unknown:

living our hearts desires and our dreams. We're just gonna

Unknown:

leave this world. Where's that leave you? Personally, me. I'm

Unknown:

committed to creating a world for our eight year old son.

Unknown:

That's worth being part of where people don't live in fear and

Unknown:

scarcity, where people don't live in the belief that what

Unknown:

they want to create isn't possible. I'm committed to

Unknown:

living in a world where people understand how powerful they

Unknown:

are. People like you and me understand that we can create

Unknown:

whatever we want in our businesses and lives that we can

Unknown:

have our best year ever in business that we don't have to

Unknown:

hide. We don't have to be afraid that we can step out and be our

Unknown:

greatest version of ourselves and live in joy.

Unknown:

So what I want to invite you to do in 2022 is to live your

Unknown:

greatest dreams. I've committed to doing that this year. And I

Unknown:

have some things on my list that I'll tell you are really scary

Unknown:

in the sense of like, I'm not afraid of like fearful but like,

Unknown:

I'm not sure how they're going to happen. And scary is not the

Unknown:

right word. One of my coaches once said to me, the word scared

Unknown:

is the same. You know, if you move the letters around, it's

Unknown:

also sacred. And that's how I feel like I feel like I'm in a

Unknown:

very sacred time of, of stretching beyond rough stress

Unknown:

before and really creating and stepping into dreams that I want

Unknown:

that I do want to have happen that I know are meant for me.

Unknown:

And I want to invite you to do the same. And it's not enough

Unknown:

like it's not enough to live the dreams that have been in your

Unknown:

head that you think ah, you know, I should do that or

Unknown:

wouldn't it be great if now, I want you to think about those

Unknown:

dreams that are truly your heart's desire. Get out of your

Unknown:

head, get into your heart like what's in your heart. Even in

Unknown:

business, I find that as CEOs as entrepreneurs, we often create

Unknown:

businesses that become jobs that we hate them Not our heart's

Unknown:

desire. It's like, oh, yeah, this is, this is okay. But I

Unknown:

don't love it. One of the things that I did in 2020, you know,

Unknown:

one of the gifts of the pandemic, of having to change

Unknown:

everything pivot, remember, the word pivot, had to change

Unknown:

everything to keep our business alive, gave me this gift to

Unknown:

recreate it in a way that I'd always wanted to. And so I did.

Unknown:

And I love my business more than ever, because because of how

Unknown:

it's set up, and how we're making a difference for our

Unknown:

clients, and how it gives me the space to have this podcast and

Unknown:

be on YouTube and write books and you know, Coach our clients

Unknown:

to the next level, like all the things that I want to be doing.

Unknown:

So for you, it's like,

Unknown:

what's in your heart? What's your heart's desire? And that's

Unknown:

where that's really where you want to begin, like, step out of

Unknown:

your head

Unknown:

and move into your heart. And just thinking about that, now,

Unknown:

if you could recreate your business in any way. What would

Unknown:

you change? What would you let go of?

Unknown:

We have many clients who come to us who are tired, they're worn

Unknown:

out. They're working 80 plus hour weeks in a business they

Unknown:

don't love anymore. It might be seven figures, it might be

Unknown:

multiple, seven figures. Maybe they're in meetings all the

Unknown:

time. Maybe they're on the road all the time. Maybe they're, you

Unknown:

know, just doing things they don't want to do. They come to

Unknown:

us tired. And Rebecca, who's the master coach at Arsenal, Inc,

Unknown:

many of you know her, Rebecca, and I love to just sit with

Unknown:

them. And to ask the question, well, what is your heart's

Unknown:

desire? Like, what do you really want? And a lot of times, when

Unknown:

they first tell us it's like, it's like a whisper. It's like,

Unknown:

well, so much. I wanted to have a seven figure business working

Unknown:

20 hours a week, not at all. I wanted to have more time with my

Unknown:

kids, I wanted to have opportunities for my employees,

Unknown:

that meant that it was the their dream job. I want to create, I

Unknown:

want to make an impact, I want to have time to write I don't

Unknown:

have any of that. And so by telling us, You know what

Unknown:

they're tired of and what they don't have, we start to hear

Unknown:

what it is they do want, we start to hear their true heart's

Unknown:

desire. And then we start to build from there like that is a

Unknown:

requirement. When you hang out with us at Ursa hanging out with

Unknown:

us in any of our programs. I want to know the truth, like I

Unknown:

can't help you, I can't help our clients, if I don't know what

Unknown:

they really desire. Because it's gonna be really hard for them to

Unknown:

get it. If it's not your true heart's desire is like rolling

Unknown:

boulders uphill, you're not going to want to do it, you're

Unknown:

going to get frustrated, you're going to get stressed, you're

Unknown:

going to get mad, it's going to be terrible, right? So taking a

Unknown:

moment to tune in to like, what it is you really want is the

Unknown:

first step, I can guarantee you that if you create a list of

Unknown:

your heart's desires, rather than the goals you think you

Unknown:

should have, you will reach those goals way faster than any

Unknown:

other goals you've ever reached before. You just Well, there

Unknown:

was, there was a goal on my list last for a few years. And I kind

Unknown:

of kept putting it aside and putting inside. And then at the

Unknown:

end of 2021, there was a part of you that just said, right, like,

Unknown:

Why do I keep tabling that goal, this is what this is truly my

Unknown:

heart's desire, which it was and it is that I need to move it

Unknown:

over into that this is going to happen list like no matter what

Unknown:

this is going to happen. And so this is what's wild. I moved it

Unknown:

over to the what's gonna it is just going to happen list. And I

Unknown:

did a visualization with one of my coaches were really focused

Unknown:

in on my heart's desire and creating from the space. And

Unknown:

within two weeks, I don't know if it's that long, maybe was one

Unknown:

week or two parts of that goal showed up to allow it to easily

Unknown:

come into reality. And it was in that moment that I was reminded,

Unknown:

I was reminded of this message that we as entrepreneurs have to

Unknown:

give ourselves permission to live from here to live from our

Unknown:

heart's desire and to get out of our heads because in our heads,

Unknown:

we make up all kinds of stories of why we can't have something

Unknown:

why it's not for us, we stop. It feels too hard. Your heart's

Unknown:

desires don't feel too hard. Sometimes we try too hard to get

Unknown:

them when what we're invited to do is lean in, or lean back, I

Unknown:

should say, into the energy of receiving them versus the energy

Unknown:

of pushing or figuring it out or make it happen.

Unknown:

Wow, it's too much work. First, decide like decide what your

Unknown:

heart's desire is. So I'm gonna invite you in this moment. We

Unknown:

just did this with our clients and the cocreation collective

Unknown:

and the CEO table this week, we invited them. And I want to

Unknown:

invite you

Unknown:

to think of your top three goals right now. What are the top

Unknown:

three goals for your business in 2022? Okay, so just think about

Unknown:

them for a second. And I want to invite you to write them down,

Unknown:

so you can look at them. And if you need to pause as we go,

Unknown:

definitely do that. Go ahead and write those three goals, like

Unknown:

the three goals, you could think of probably a revenue goal,

Unknown:

right? Big one that you've set for yourself. Maybe it's also a

Unknown:

desire a goal to create a new program, raise your prices,

Unknown:

maybe you want to have a podcast, you want to write a

Unknown:

book, once and for all, whatever it is, just go ahead and take a

Unknown:

moment and write those three goals down. And you might want

Unknown:

to even pause this if you need a minute, okay? Because the next

Unknown:

step is to take those goals from your head to your heart. So what

Unknown:

about you to close your eyes for a moment? Do this with you close

Unknown:

your eyes, unless you're driving or you're on the elliptical,

Unknown:

okay, we know not to do that. Oh eyes, close your eyes for a

Unknown:

moment. And just breathe. Here your breath. Good. And I want

Unknown:

you to take the goals that you're thinking of the goals

Unknown:

you've written down and take them from your head and bring

Unknown:

them down to your heart. So imagine doing that your heart

Unknown:

they say, scientists and others say is this thinking and feeling

Unknown:

muscle we don't even know all we know is that our heart seems to

Unknown:

know a lot of things. Our heart seems to be very honest with us,

Unknown:

right? So move your goals from your head to your heart. Even if

Unknown:

it feels weird, I've never done that before. Just go ahead and

Unknown:

do it.

Unknown:

Awesome. With your goals in your heart, I want you to notice each

Unknown:

one need to ask yourself,

Unknown:

Is this my true heart's desire? Or what do I need to shift about

Unknown:

it to make it? So say that again? For each goal just asked

Unknown:

Is this my true heart's desire? Or what do I need to do to shift

Unknown:

it to make it so? Just take a moment to think about each goal?

Unknown:

And answer that question. Give you a minute. To think about

Unknown:

that. You need to pause definitely pause the show for a

Unknown:

moment and lean into that is my true heart's desire, what do I

Unknown:

need to do to make itself feel into

Unknown:

that? For each goal. And then once you've done that, you can

Unknown:

go ahead and open up your eyes and write

Unknown:

that down. Like literally take a moment to look at each goal and

Unknown:

and decide like is that? Is that my true heart's desire? Or what

Unknown:

do I need to do to shift it to make it so if it hasn't been, or

Unknown:

if it's not, or like you have to tweak it. And it could be an

Unknown:

example might be that there's new, maybe there's a new

Unknown:

program, you want to create your business, but there's a part of

Unknown:

it that you don't like or there's a part of it that you

Unknown:

don't want to deliver. So to make it your heart's desire, you

Unknown:

have to hire someone, or you want to write a book, but maybe

Unknown:

you want to ghostwriter someone to help you like you don't want

Unknown:

to do at all. That's fine, right? Like, what what do you

Unknown:

like? How would it become your true heart's desire and get you

Unknown:

to the end? Once you've gotten to your true heart's desires,

Unknown:

and you can write them down and look at it. The next step to

Unknown:

bringing them into reality is to look at each one and ask

Unknown:

yourself, what is the story that I'm telling myself about this

Unknown:

particular goal or Heart's Desire regarding why I can't

Unknown:

have it? So you get into the idea of there's a story, there's

Unknown:

a story if we don't have something like I'll give you so

Unknown:

the goal I shifted in 2021 Ross by like, yes,

Unknown:

I want this, I'm gonna make it happen. I have a big story about

Unknown:

why it wasn't possible.

Unknown:

And I can laugh about it now. And like, I look back, I had to

Unknown:

confront that story. Now.

Unknown:

In my case, I had my coach to help me. My coach was like, This

Unknown:

is what coaches are great at, like, I go to like really

Unknown:

does hear the story? And she said to me, she's like, well,

Unknown:

probably you haven't You know, decided for sure that this is

Unknown:

what you want. Because when you step into it when you make it so

Unknown:

the way is there. So what part of this? Are you saying no to? I

Unknown:

really had to think about that. Because there were parts of it

Unknown:

that I didn't think I wanted or didn't think were possible. So

Unknown:

you want to confront your story about each goal. And ask

Unknown:

yourself, What's that true about that? Or what's the lie in that

Unknown:

story? Why I'm telling myself, I can't have it. Because

Unknown:

typically, there's a lie, there's a story, there's

Unknown:

something there, that is important for you to confront

Unknown:

and say, Hey, that's not true. And a way to do that is to say,

Unknown:

you know, what's not true about that story? Is that true about

Unknown:

that for me? To ask that question, and then watch what

Unknown:

happens so powerful. And your subconscious will suddenly start

Unknown:

to agree with you. It's like, yeah, that's, that's not true.

Unknown:

You know, and sometimes it's just fear. I'm afraid of what

Unknown:

what are you afraid of? Right? Like, if I find fear coming up

Unknown:

around a goal, I have to ask myself, alright, what am I

Unknown:

really afraid of? What could really go wrong here? That would

Unknown:

be so terrible that I wouldn't recover? Like you just go

Unknown:

ridiculous. And you realize, okay, wait, like the fears just,

Unknown:

it's just my, my ego, my subconscious, whatever you want

Unknown:

to call it, try to keep me safe by giving me something to focus

Unknown:

on to be afraid of when assignment tro. Alright, so you

Unknown:

want to go through each one, figure out what's not true about

Unknown:

it. And then the last step is, I already kind of, you know,

Unknown:

hinted on this, but like, You got to step into it, like it's

Unknown:

already done. Like, it's just, it's done. It's my heart's

Unknown:

desire. I'm not afraid, I've gotten rid of the stories around

Unknown:

it, right, I've let that go. It's my heart's desire, there's

Unknown:

no stories of the lies are gone. And now I'm stepping into the

Unknown:

expectation, the belief that it's just done, it's done. Now,

Unknown:

that doesn't mean that there's not going to be any action that

Unknown:

you take, because there will be. But when you take these steps,

Unknown:

and you come from that space of your heart's desire, the next

Unknown:

steps that show up will probably be things you didn't even think

Unknown:

of. And it can happen even faster than you can imagine.

Unknown:

Like the goal I was talking about 2021, the way to get

Unknown:

there. Oh, my gosh, I can't even tell you how hard I was trying

Unknown:

to make it. It's like two steps. It was it blew my mind to the

Unknown:

point where I knew I had to talk about it with my clients with

Unknown:

all of you with our listeners. Because it was like the way it

Unknown:

was there was just there. Two steps. I think in my head a

Unknown:

great about 20 steps to get there. Oh my gosh. And I'd

Unknown:

already started doing the work on making it hard. You should

Unknown:

have seen the I was being so crafty and how I was creating it
