From Genesis to Revelation  Michael McPadden pt 2

If you are like me, when I first started reading the Bible, I flipped it open to Genesis Chapter 1 and started from there. That’s how we were taught to read, right? From front to back.

If you are like me, I made it through the first couple of books of the Bible and soon was “lost.” And when I got to Numbers… I was completely confused.

When I finally made it to the New Testament, it seemed to make a little bit more sense… but still, it seemed like a bunch of things that were just tossed together, mixed up and then piecemealed into a book.

I get that. It was a few years before I realized I was reading the Bible the wrong way.  Maybe that is where you are now, today. Or you have come to that realization as well.

Our guest today is the author of a great book that will help us to study the Bible, understand more as we read the Bible and actually LEARN from the Bible. Amen!

Michael McPadden is the author of "Genesis to Revelation: Abraham's Promise Finding Christ and Seeing God.”

In his groundbreaking book, Michael invites us to embark on a journey through the Bible, unraveling its rich tapestry of stories to reveal the timeless truths about our existence—from our birth into perfection to our eventual resurrection into divine freedom. Through Genesis to Revelation, he sheds light on how the Bible actually flows together and reveals the Truth of our Lord and how we start our life, as babies, perfect… then lose our perfection, but – in the end, gain it back by the Grace of God and the shed blood of our Savior, Jesus the Messiah. Amen!

This is a great book and a great interview. Join us as we conclude our discussion, with Michael McPadden!

Your book emphasizes the interconnectedness of Old and New Testament teachings. Can you provide one or two examples of how stories or themes from the Old Testament foreshadow or complement the teachings of Jesus and Paul?

The book of Revelation is often seen as cryptic and difficult to interpret. How does your book shed light on its significance in understanding the culmination of humanity's spiritual journey, from birth to resurrection?

What is the main thing you want your readers to understand or appreciate about the Bible’s relevance to their own lives and spiritual journeys as they read your book?

On predestination, why does bad things happen to good people? Are they predestined to not live a good life?

How can someone obtain a copy of your book, "Genesis to Revelation: Abraham's Promise Finding Christ and Seeing God.”  I take it is on Amazon?

If someone wanted to ask a question or find out more information or possibly do an interview such as this, how can they do that? How can someone get in touch with you?

I’ll put links to all of this in the show notes below.

Folks, as I stated in the opening, when I first started reading the Bible, I was as confused as I could be. I wish there would have been a book like Michael McPadden’s “Genesis to Revelation” back then. It would have made my Bible study time a lot more enjoyable and informative and probably sped my spiritual journey along at a little faster pace. Amen!
