Speaker B:And this podcast bridges faith and reason, inviting curious Christians to explore God's word in a way that's engaging, thought provoking and relevant to modern life.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:With that being said, help me.
Speaker B:Welcome to the program Cassian Bolino.
Speaker B:Cassian, it is a blessing to have you join us today.
Speaker B:I do appreciate your time.
Speaker C:What an introduction.
Speaker C:It's such a pleasure to be here today.
Speaker C:Thank you so much for having me.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Now the first question I always start with is this.
Speaker B:Other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, who is Cassian Bellino?
Speaker C:Wow.
Speaker C:Cassian Bellino is a curious and confused Christian.
Speaker C:She's a daughter, she's a sister, she's a friend to you and me.
Speaker C:And Cassian's on a journey to understand God.
Speaker C:Because I read a book a long time ago by Francis Chan that says our duty on earth is to know God and love others.
Speaker C:And to me that just broke down the Christian faith so simply.
Speaker C:So the more I got to know God by Figuring this out because while I was opening the Bible obediently and going to church obediently, I did not know God.
Speaker C:But as soon as I started understanding him through these conversations, I transformed.
Speaker C:And me loving others looked completely different than it did the 27 years before.
Speaker C:So I am.
Speaker C:I'm simply here to make God bigger and myself smaller.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Can you share with us why you started this podcast and why you chose the podcast format?
Speaker C:Absolutely.
Speaker C:So this came because I needed it.
Speaker C:You know, it's, you know, the best solutions are born out of the problems that we can't find solutions for.
Speaker C:I remember I was living in Bangkok.
Speaker C:I was living there alone.
Speaker C:I was working a corporate job.
Speaker C:It was my first job out of college.
Speaker C:And I was so lukewarm in my faith.
Speaker C:And I knew that, okay, well, I'm out of college now.
Speaker C:I should probably become a woman and know my faith and become a woman of God.
Speaker C:I had this picture in my head of what I needed to be, and I knew I wasn't it.
Speaker C:So I was joking with my friend, like, ah, the word of God would be so much easier if we just had, like, a smart person that actually knew the truth about God and like, a funny person.
Speaker C:And they talked about it and they explained it.
Speaker C:Wouldn't that be phenomenal?
Speaker C:And me and my friend were joking over lunch.
Speaker C: And this was: Speaker C:I remember exactly where I was eating.
Speaker C:I remember exactly what I was eating.
Speaker C:I love Thailand so much.
Speaker C:And I lived there.
Speaker C:I lived in another country.
Speaker C:And then Covid hit and like, kind of life just went on.
Speaker C:And I went through a couple relationships where my faith started getting deeper.
Speaker C:But again, I lacked the basis for knowledge.
Speaker C:And I think for me, you can feel all sorts of things.
Speaker C:But I needed the facts.
Speaker C:I needed it to be explained.
Speaker C:And I wasn't finding that in my church or in the podcast.
Speaker C:I was listening to the daily devotionals or in.
Speaker C:Or the YouTube video.
Speaker C:So I was out there looking.
Speaker C:I remember even at one point when I was in Bangkok, I went up to my pastor and I said, hey, before you jump into, you know, any of the books, could you just give me some context?
Speaker C:I think that would be really helpful for the congregation.
Speaker C:And she's like, you should go to seminary.
Speaker C:And I was like, no, not gonna do that.
Speaker C:And it was a little heartbreaking.
Speaker C:I mean, obviously she's busy.
Speaker C:It's not really her.
Speaker C:It was a husband and wife that were running it, but they're busy.
Speaker C:It's not their job.
Speaker C:She's like, you should join our B Bible study.
Speaker C:I'm like, I am in it.
Speaker C:I.
Speaker C:I'm already there.
Speaker C:So it's kind of heartbreaking to think that, like, the only way for me to know my savior is to go to school and spend money and time when I'm not really at that point, I'm not.
Speaker C:I don't have time, I don't have money for that.
Speaker C:So as I was growing in my faith, I wasn't finding answers.
Speaker C:You know, I was joining Bible studies that were academic focused, gonna, gonna teach me about the word of God.
Speaker C:But it was so high level.
Speaker C:Like, you have to understand, I went into this, and you'll listen to this in some of my early episodes, I didn know the four gospels were the same story told by different people.
Speaker C:Like, I didn't know anything.
Speaker C:And so for me to join these academic Bible studies, it was way too high level.
Speaker C:And so then I was like, okay, well, I'll go to the daily devotional podcast.
Speaker C:And that was just like, this is how, like, how great is God?
Speaker C:It was so about the emotions and like, their experience that I was like, you're not explaining this, you're not explaining the context.
Speaker C:So I wasn't finding any.
Speaker C:Anything I needed.
Speaker C:And I.
Speaker C:I knew what I wanted.
Speaker C:I just wanted them to explain it to me clearly and somebody smart, somebody that studied it.
Speaker C:Not a pastor, but like an academic.
Speaker C:So, you know, now it's five years later, I have now moved to Hawaii.
Speaker C:And that was again, a God thing that I felt like God made it very clear that, like, hey, God, I'll move to Hawaii.
Speaker C:Three conditions are met.
Speaker C:Because I loved living close to my family.
Speaker C:Like, I love my family.
Speaker C:But he made it very clear that it was okay.
Speaker C:So I moved.
Speaker C:And while I was out here again, I was figuring out who I wanted to be.
Speaker C:I'm now in my late 20s, you know, I should take my faith seriously.
Speaker C:I should find a church.
Speaker C:But again, I'm missing that knowledge.
Speaker C:I still have yet to find it.
Speaker C:And my sister, who's been so supportive of my faith, she made a joke and she's like, well, maybe you're supposed to make it.
Speaker C:And I was aghast.
Speaker C:I was like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Speaker C:Like, I'm on the Internet casually.
Speaker C:Like, my parents are so.
Speaker C:They're so good about.
Speaker C:Like, the Internet is forever.
Speaker C:Like, you should not be on the Internet.
Speaker C:That will haunt you forever.
Speaker C:Like, let's say you say the one wrong thing.
Speaker C:And I was like, I don't, I don't even know how to run a podcast.
Speaker C:I don't even know any academics.
Speaker C:Like, nobody in my family is like a professor.
Speaker C:So it's not even like they had a friend who taught theology.
Speaker C:I was like, no, no, no, no, no.
Speaker C:And then God just sent people into my life that were like, listen.
Speaker C:Like, they were either so encouraging or they're like, God gave this to you for a reason, and if you don't do it, someone else will.
Speaker C:And I think that just put the fire under me.
Speaker C:I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Speaker C:No one's stealing my.
Speaker C:So it took a lot of months, if I'm going to be honest, for me to be okay with this.
Speaker C:But God put a lot of people in my life.
Speaker C:That assured me.
Speaker C:And I spoke to a lot of people who had had a podcast and I was like, okay, break it down for me.
Speaker C:What's it like?
Speaker C:Is it hard?
Speaker C:How do you edit?
Speaker C:How do you record?
Speaker C:Record?
Speaker C:What's an RSS feed?
Speaker C:And I remember this one conversation with my old sister's Bible study, and she had a Bible study leader and she had a podcast and she was like, listen, they make it very easy these days.
Speaker C:You're pretty late to the game, so it couldn't have been easier for you to join.
Speaker C:That's the first good news.
Speaker C:And second, I think that maybe God just wants to get close to you, so go ahead and do this.
Speaker C:And maybe it's just for you.
Speaker C:Like, maybe it's not for other people to hear, it's just for you to hear.
Speaker C:And maybe you're the only person.
Speaker C:And I think that put me in the right headspace of, like, if just my mom listens to this, I've still been obedient, so I might as well just do it.
Speaker C:And of course, like, the human in me is like, get it out of the way and then go back to your life.
Speaker C:As much as we could stay in our comfortable life while still serving God, right?
Speaker C:No, God had so many other plans.
Speaker C:So as soon as I said yes, I remember this so clearly, I was on my way.
Speaker C:I was flying home from LA to Hawaii.
Speaker C:I was in the Uber with my brother in law.
Speaker C:I was talking to him about baptism and this was about two years ago.
Speaker C:And I was like, I really want to get baptized because I feel like I'm changing.
Speaker C:However, I know I'm gonna sin again.
Speaker C:And that to me doesn't sit right because I just know I'm gonna sin again as a human.
Speaker C:So how do you approach that?
Speaker C:And he's like, yeah, I don't know.
Speaker C:And like, we had a discussion.
Speaker C:I Get on the flight.
Speaker C:It's in Southwest flight.
Speaker C:I sit down.
Speaker C:A guy sits down next to me.
Speaker C:I look over, and he's watching reels on Instagram about baptism.
Speaker C:And I'm like, you gotta be getting me.
Speaker C:And so I end up talking to him.
Speaker C:He's a pastor at a church, and we honestly don't talk because he's got his family, he's got his kids, he's got his wife.
Speaker C:It'd be weird for me to, like, spend time with this man that I don't know.
Speaker C:And I knew the Holy Spirit was like, you got to talk to this man.
Speaker C:And I was like, God, I'm gonna be pretty tricky.
Speaker C:But if you want me to talk to this man, he has to come to me, which he won't.
Speaker C:He doesn't know me.
Speaker C:But if you want me to talk to him, he's got to come to me.
Speaker C:And sure enough, I get off the plane.
Speaker C:I've got my headphones in.
Speaker C:He comes up to me, taps me on the shoulder, and he's like, hey, if you ever want to connect with me, here's my card.
Speaker C:Come to my church in Southern California.
Speaker C:And I was like, you have no idea what just happened.
Speaker C:And then it was conversations with him.
Speaker C:He, you know, absolutely was like, I'll come onto your show.
Speaker C:I will absolutely talk.
Speaker C:I think you're doing an amazing thing.
Speaker C:And then this person that I was dating at the time was bragging about this podcast that I had yet to start, and he takes people on tours, and he's just.
Speaker C:He's such a good boyfriend.
Speaker C:He was taking people on tours in Hawaii, and he was bragging about me and what I was going to do.
Speaker C:And of course, the people that were on his tours were like, hey, we're theologians.
Speaker C:We've got tons of friends in our department that would love to come on her show.
Speaker C:And then it began, and, like, I didn't have to lift a finger.
Speaker C:And that's the crazy thing about it.
Speaker C:It's like, I should have been stressing.
Speaker C:I should have been Googling.
Speaker C:I should have been emailing.
Speaker C:And they just fell into my lap and.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker C:And then the referrals came.
Speaker C:And then I remember over this last summer, I ran out of guests, and I was like, well, if I don't have guests, I don't have a podcast.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker C:So, God, can you send me more guests?
Speaker C:And a random person from India messages me, like, emails me.
Speaker C:And they're like, hey, I would love to work for you.
Speaker C:I was like, well, I don't make money So I don't think you want to work for me unless it's for free.
Speaker C:But you said you had a podcast like me, so if you could share your guest list, that would be helpful.
Speaker C:And he did.
Speaker C:And here we are, booked until the end of January of next year.
Speaker C:Like, God is so good.
Speaker C:He is so good.
Speaker C:And I listened to my earlier episodes sometimes and how clueless I was.
Speaker C:Just truly, I had no idea.
Speaker C:And now I feel very honored to, like, understand divine council theory and the Nephilim and be able to, like, reference multiple scriptures.
Speaker C:And honestly, my heart posture has changed.
Speaker C:Like, the word of God happens when you.
Speaker C:You don't know it.
Speaker C:And I have, like, had developed a distaste for going out, a distaste for, you know, shallow relationships and, you know, the type of man that I want to date because I'm single right now, and I'm, like, you know, approaching the dating scene, you some.
Speaker C:You usually, like, look some way, but now I look completely different.
Speaker C:The type of man that I want, the things that I'll tolerate, the confidence in myself.
Speaker C:Like, God has taken a hold of me.
Speaker C:And we were talking about this before we started recording, but, like, if God's not real, my life does not make sense.
Speaker C:And I'm okay with that.
Speaker C:I'm okay with being at that level of my faith.
Speaker C:But I truly think this is my most important work.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker C:Thank you.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And, you know, we talked about my story before we came out, but isn't amazing how God just one step at a time.
Speaker B:It's just one step, truly.
Speaker B:One door opens, but that one door leads into so much, you know, truly.
Speaker B:And then as that door starts to close, they say, when God closes one door, he opens another.
Speaker B:And sure enough.
Speaker B:So let me ask you this.
Speaker B:When Christians rely, something you said, only on basic, basically surface level, studying of Scripture, what is at risk in that situation?
Speaker C:We miss out on so much.
Speaker C:You know, a couple scriptures that we understand in English, we just skim over it.
Speaker C:Like in Genesis, Ham uncovered Noah's nakedness.
Speaker C:And I don't mean to get too dark too quickly, but I think to the common eye, we might be like, oh, he walked in on his father.
Speaker C:How embarrassing.
Speaker C:But it doesn't.
Speaker C:It references a much deeper situation that's happening as far as a ploy for power and dominance in a world where a global flood just wipes the population.
Speaker C:And uncovering the nakedness, while this is a Hebrew euphemism, which, of course, how would we know?
Speaker C:We don't speak Hebrew, at least not me.
Speaker C:I don't, and I don't know the euphemisms of ancient Hebrew.
Speaker C:We won't understand that.
Speaker C:That is a verse that is actually very dark and powerful.
Speaker C:And that is why they cut off that son.
Speaker C:That is why his lineage was so, you know, it just, it wasn't fruitful.
Speaker C:And it's because it is understood to be a ploy for sexual assault to gain dominance over Noah.
Speaker C:In a time where there's a power grab here, who's going to be the ruler of the next generation?
Speaker C:And I think that we miss out on the depths of God's word.
Speaker C:We miss out on the complexities that the Bible holds.
Speaker C:Truly.
Speaker C:I was just reviewing my episode about the bleeding woman, which.
Speaker C:The bleeding woman is three verses in Mark, and again, one of those, you skip over what a, what a great verse, though, that, you know, you can touch the hem of God's coat and you could be healed.
Speaker C:How wonderful is that?
Speaker C:He's got superpowers in his clothing, right?
Speaker C:That is what the Sunday school lesson is, correct?
Speaker C:No.
Speaker C:When you go deeper, and I've been so privileged to have conversations with such smart people, you understand that the Hebrew translation for that cloth is the tzitzit, the knaf and the talet.
Speaker C:Those are the different parts of that.
Speaker C:And it references the same translations used in Numbers 15 when God is talking to Moses about, hey, you guys, I just gave you a bunch of commandments.
Speaker C:You're pretty stiff necked, you'll probably forget them.
Speaker C:So why don't you put a blue cord in your tzitzit, so when you see it, you remember and you obey my commandments.
Speaker C:And then it's also referred to in Ruth 3 when she says, spread your knife over me.
Speaker C:And knaf is typically translated into wing, like an angel's wing, but also the hem of a coat, like the corner of the garment.
Speaker C:And so.
Speaker C:And then it goes back to Malachi 3 where it says, a healer will rise with his knife.
Speaker C:So in that, in those three separate verses, you think you're talking about three separate things.
Speaker C:You think that in Numbers, it's, oh, okay, you got a.
Speaker C:It's back in Numbers where, you know, in Leviticus and Exodus, you know, very specific on the clothing.
Speaker C:And you think that's separate from Ruth 3, where it's like, I'm just gonna drape my clothing over you.
Speaker C:And then in Malachi 3, that there's an angel that's going to heal us one day, but it's all referring back to Jesus.
Speaker C:And you would not have connected that had you not had a theologian say, these are the Hebrew translations, and these are where they're also referenced.
Speaker C:And this is the connectivity, the fine thread that God shows us.
Speaker C:It all points back to Jesus, and it's.
Speaker C:It's like a shot of adrenaline back into the word that, like, we think that we're just reading these words and they're supposed to mean something, but then you have someone really connected, and it goes so much deeper.
Speaker C:And I think for me, the real win there is that I serve a God that's complex, that is intentional, and that has been planning this for millennia.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Yeah, amen.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:And like you mentioned, we all tend to interpret scripture basically through our own lens.
Speaker C:Yes.
Speaker B:But what are some of the most common mistakes that you've discovered that Christians are making when reading the Bible?
Speaker C:Oh, my gosh.
Speaker C:Definitely by putting it in an egocentric lens.
Speaker C:Um, I think that we commonly me would read stories like the Book of Jonah and say, like, oh, I'm such.
Speaker C:Like, Jonah, I'm so obstinate.
Speaker C:I don't want to serve God.
Speaker C:And, oh, my gosh, there's miracles that God can serve, like a whale that can swallow us.
Speaker C:And we.
Speaker C:We really take it for.
Speaker C:It's about me.
Speaker C:But I think one of the biggest things that scholars have taught me, specifically Dr.
Speaker C:John Walton, who is amazing, and he spent a lot of time with me on Job, is that every book of the Bible teaches us not about us, but about God, and that every single story is here to prove to us and show to us a new characteristic about God, specifically in Jonah, that God's will will be made, of course, because it's God's will, but also that God is forgiving.
Speaker C:God forgave the Ninevites, and then he forgave Jonah for trying to not serve the Ninevites.
Speaker C:You know, God is here for Job.
Speaker C:And.
Speaker C:And again, suffering is a very difficult topic that I am still discovering.
Speaker C:So all of this is still yet to be learned and expanded upon.
Speaker C:But in Dr.
Speaker C:John's Walton take on Job, you know, we enter into that book, like, why does bad things happen to good people?
Speaker C:And Dr.
Speaker C:John Walton's take is, who are we to put God in the box of karma?
Speaker C:You know, who are we to say, God, you're not abiding by our little karmic rule.
Speaker C:He's like, the way that God works is beyond our fathom ability.
Speaker C:And even at the end of Job, he says, job, were you there when I laid the heavens?
Speaker C:Were you there when I laid the soil?
Speaker C:Who are you to tell me that I'm doing the wrong thing here.
Speaker C:And I.
Speaker C:I think that shows that God is complex.
Speaker C:He's larger than us and like, it's not about us being job, like God, you didn't serve me when I was so obedient.
Speaker C:God is always serving us beyond our ability to fathom that.
Speaker C:So while I understand that not everybody gets the privilege of talking to scholars to clarify every question that they've ever had, I'm incredibly lucky.
Speaker C:I also think that the Holy Spirit is active.
Speaker C:And I think, again, like, the only thing that we're on this earth to do is to seek and know God and love others.
Speaker C:And I think that one of the biggest lessons I've learned through other discussions with, you know, associated family marriage therapist like Ryan Baum is in that sanctification gap of where I'm at and where I need to be, and this gap that I feel that I'm falling short of.
Speaker C:God wants you to seek him because you will fail.
Speaker C:That is a guaranteed.
Speaker C:You will fail, you will sin.
Speaker C:But what do you do that moment after is you need to seek God and He will fill that gap.
Speaker C:That is the only way you close that type of sanctification gap is through him and by making yourself available for him to change you.
Speaker C:But you cannot close that gap.
Speaker C:You cannot good works your way through that gap.
Speaker C:You cannot, you know, not sin your way.
Speaker C:You just have to say, God, use me.
Speaker C:And he will, and he'll close it and he'll change your heart.
Speaker C:He'll make sure you don't go out anymore.
Speaker C:He did it to me.
Speaker C:By no means is my sanctification gap closed, but I think that it is important that regardless of not knowing every perfect translation and every perfect scripture, God still wants us to just be available to him and he'll do the rest.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:And you know, I.
Speaker B:I love that because you have to, you know, stop just doing the surface reading.
Speaker B:You know, get out your concordance.
Speaker B:Get out, you know.
Speaker B:Well, now they got it online.
Speaker B:I've got bookshelves full of stuff.
Speaker B:But, you know, find out what the meaning is behind these words because it'll, like you said, it'll give that scripture verse a whole different context that we were talking about.
Speaker B:And I know life is busy, but how can Christians stay deeply connected to God amid all the chaos?
Speaker B:And what simple practices do you recommend for making that happen?
Speaker C:Pray without ceasing.
Speaker C:And I know that that sounds like another choreography in your day, but it actually complements everything you do so well.
Speaker C:I remember reading that verse, and I'm like, pray without ceasing.
Speaker C:I'm already behind.
Speaker C:Like, I can't keep up with my emails.
Speaker C:Are you kidding me?
Speaker C:But I think that everything we do, and I mean that so literally, is an opportunity to invite God.
Speaker C:You know, the rooms we're about to walk into, what is going on?
Speaker C:What's the energy in that room?
Speaker C:And I mean that.
Speaker C:I mean demonic energy.
Speaker C:What is the energy in that room?
Speaker C:What the conversations we're about to have.
Speaker C:I've had a lot of hard conversations these last week, just simple conflicts.
Speaker C:But God be with me that I go into it with a head of understanding that I can come to peace with my friend before a trip.
Speaker C:Bless this country I'm about to enter into or I'm about to move.
Speaker C:Lord, bless this house I'm about to go into.
Speaker C:And it's not as like, you know, I was the pray before a meal, pray before bed kind of girl, and that was me for, like, almost 30 years.
Speaker C:And now when you understand the demonic realm and the unseen realm and the spiritual warfare, praying without ceasing is a.
Speaker C:It's necessary.
Speaker C:It's not like a want to, it's a have to, because God's protection is the only thing we got.
Speaker C:So while you can't be reading your Bible all day, you can't watch YouTube.
Speaker C:YouTube videos all day explaining the Word or listening to podcasts, especially as much as we want to.
Speaker C:I love podcasts.
Speaker C:I consume them.
Speaker C:Crazy.
Speaker C:But you can pray without ceasing, and God will do the rest.
Speaker C:And in every.
Speaker C:Every instance before this conversation, before you go to bed, before you leave your house, all the time, and it really just has to be like a.
Speaker C:A couple seconds of prayer, just again, making yourself available to the Lord and letting him have space to go before you.
Speaker C:And I think that's the best way that I've seen.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:What is your podcast?
Speaker B:Inspire listeners to dig into the Bible's richer, deeper truths and guide your listeners on a path back to God.
Speaker C:You mean, like, with the context we discuss or just, like, outside of the context?
Speaker C:Both.
Speaker B:I mean, you got, you know, the.
Speaker B:The.
Speaker B:The purpose behind it.
Speaker B:But what do you try and get out of each interview that will guide them back to God?
Speaker C:Oh, my gosh.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:I think that with each interview, it really is encouraging people to look a little bit closer and maybe question things that.
Speaker C:Oh, that didn't really make sense.
Speaker C:Well, that was probably a translation issue.
Speaker C:We can go back to the original translation.
Speaker C:God does not use papyrus lightly.
Speaker C:So when it Comes to, you know, reading your Bible.
Speaker C:I do lives every single day on my Instagram channel.
Speaker C:And you'll hear me throughout the life, be like, that doesn't make any sense.
Speaker C:That doesn't make any sense.
Speaker C:And you can't, as a Christian with a God that we cannot fathom, say, that doesn't make sense.
Speaker C:But that's okay.
Speaker C:I'm just going to blindly accept that because then you're not growing in your faith.
Speaker C:And I feel like, again, I've been blessed for this.
Speaker C:But we read through Exodus and I was marking off parks of, why are we doing sin offerings?
Speaker C:Why do we have a guilt offering?
Speaker C:Why is there a pillar of, like, a cloud of fire?
Speaker C:Fire.
Speaker C:And then I was able to find those answers later.
Speaker C:But if God doesn't make sense to you, challenge that research that that's okay to do because God wants you to understand him.
Speaker C:You don't just, like, take it.
Speaker C:Take it by its word.
Speaker C:And I, I just did an episode on Moses, so it was very timely that we read Exodus and then I was able to say, like, what do you mean these miracles?
Speaker C:What do you mean he heard in Pharaoh's heart?
Speaker C:So it was extremely helpful to.
Speaker C:To say, I didn't know these things.
Speaker C:And instead of just being like, oh, you know, that's just out God's word, we're just supposed to understand that God's got no, like, God wants you to know him.
Speaker C:It's okay to say, this doesn't make sense to me.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:And you've created numerous resources.
Speaker B:I mean, you have your own community, your online community.
Speaker B:Can you share some of the ways that you help those who.
Speaker B:Who may be struggling with their own doubts and all that, and how your resources may help them?
Speaker C:Absolutely.
Speaker C:I've been thinking really hard on, like, how I can take biblically speaking to the next level, because I have had the privilege of sharing these very intelligent conversations with scholars.
Speaker C:My dumb questions, their smart answers, with a community that loves it, that have been growing from it.
Speaker C:And the feedback's amazing.
Speaker C:But I'm sure that I'm not asking everybody's questions.
Speaker C:And I get that because I post an episode and they're like, well, what about this?
Speaker C:I'm like, well, you missed the opportunity to ask that because we already posted the episode.
Speaker C:But I do have such amazing willing scholars, and this community is essentially my way of saying, do you want to speak to these scholars and ask the questions that you simply can't Google?
Speaker C:You cannot ask your pastor.
Speaker C:You can't look this up on YouTube I've tried and I cannot find the specific answers to these questions anywhere else.
Speaker C:So why don't I just let you sit in my seat and go to these, these scholars directly and have a live Q and A with them that can be facilitated in a place where they're protected.
Speaker C:So it does have to be behind a paywall simply to protect them.
Speaker C:I do have, you know, scammers, trolls, spammers.
Speaker C:I've got that in my comments.
Speaker C:And I want, I don't want to subject anybody that has been nice enough to share their knowledge with me to that.
Speaker C:So they go behind a paywall.
Speaker C:It's $27 a month or you can pay for the year, but you can essentially go into this community and have live Q A once a month with these scholars.
Speaker C:And then, you know, for the other 29 days a month or so, you have daily calls with me, you get to meet other people that are in their walk with faith that either you can pour into or they can pour into you.
Speaker C:And then there's courses that I hope are a resource for any Bible study leaders or a mom or dad trying to lead their children and family in understanding the Bible, that we have courses that essentially are breaking, broken down by different topics such as how to blank biblically.
Speaker C:And there's three courses.
Speaker C:It's how to work biblically, how to participate in politics biblically, and how to pray biblically.
Speaker C:And so there's a, a five minute video, there's a little summary, there's a Bible study that you can download.
Speaker C:And I'm creating these with the hopes that these very difficult topics have been advised by scholars and now have been broken done simply that you can now leverage in your home.
Speaker C:So I'm trying to equip this in the most easily accessible way in a community while also getting your questions answered.
Speaker C:Because I, I cannot speak highly enough when it comes to learning your God and not just being obedient and open your Bible, but opening your Bible and knowing what time of the history, timeline it's in, you know, knowing what's going on in the rest of the world when you're reading through Job or Jonah or Exodus.
Speaker C:So I'm trying to share these resources, guided by scholars as much as possible and really open that network to people.
Speaker C:But it's called biblically heard.
Speaker C:It's the next level of biblically speaking where now you can be heard by these scholars and not just, you know, hearing this, hearing the words, yeah, Amen.
Speaker B:That's awesome.
Speaker B:That's awesome.
Speaker C:Thank you.
Speaker B:Is that like a private Podcast feed too, or.
Speaker C:So it's not school, it's just on school.
Speaker C:So it's on a platform that you essentially just log into and you get seven days free trial.
Speaker C:So if anybody is like, whoa, I don't want to pay for my, my Christianity or my salvation, I get it.
Speaker C:It's really just a tool to help leverage and protect the scholars.
Speaker C:But you can log in.
Speaker C:It's school.com, biblically speaking.
Speaker C:But it's called the Biblically heard community.
Speaker C:And it's just a.
Speaker C:It's like a forum.
Speaker C:It's like a private Facebook group.
Speaker C:You can post every day.
Speaker C:There's verses every day, there's calls every week, there's the live Q and A every month.
Speaker C:There's resources to download and courses to take.
Speaker C:But all of that is, yeah, like a private.
Speaker C:I think that's the best way to describe it.
Speaker C:A private Facebook group that comes with all of these benefits.
Speaker B:This is, this was so interesting and I'm so blessed to see how God is using you in a unique way to reach those who do have questions and who do want answers to those questions.
Speaker B:Now, someone like to reach out to you to ask a question or receive more information on you, your podcast, your resources, all that.
Speaker B:How can they do that?
Speaker B:How can someone get in touch with you?
Speaker C:Absolutely.
Speaker C:I am the most active on Instagram.
Speaker C:It's.
Speaker C:This is biblically speaking.
Speaker C:That's the handle that you can connect with me at.
Speaker C:I post there daily, but I'm.
Speaker C:You can also on Tick Tock, this is biblically speaking.
Speaker C:I'm on YouTube.
Speaker C:You could follow the biblically speaking podcast channel where I post all of this information and more.
Speaker C:And then you can connect with me through the Biblically heard community, which again is through school.
Speaker C:But all of these links are kind of confusing.
Speaker C:So if you just go to Instagram, the link in my bio has everything all in one place place.
Speaker C:And then you can get connected with me.
Speaker C:You can leave me a testimonial.
Speaker C:You can apply to be a guest on my show or you could DM me.
Speaker C:It's really that simple.
Speaker C:It's.
Speaker C:I'm.
Speaker C:I'm here to be a resource for you.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:I'll put links all this in the show notes below.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker C:Absolutely.
