WHAT IS A BLOWOUT?

A blowout starts with a hair wash and scalp massage, followed by an expert blow-dry method. High-powered hair dryers, round brushes, and other styling tools are used to achieve a finished look that may seem impossible to do on your own.

Joining us are sisters Kristin and Kailen. In 2009, they discovered their love of the blowout on a trip to New York City.Upon returning home, they set out to bring the blowout bar experience to Columbus. They created a place where clients could get a great and affordable blowout in a beautiful space and atmosphere.

The Blowout Bar aims for convenience and fun, focusing on one thing and being the best at it: the blowout. Our expert blow-dry method achieves a finished look that may seem impossible to do on your own.

They also talk about The Bride Bar. When it came to wedding day hair and makeup, they didn’t go the traditional route. No crowded salons, no hurried stylists. They both got married in big cities — New York and LA — where they sought out and found a more intimate and personalized experience. They felt relaxed, catered to. It set the tone for their days in a way they’ll always remember.

They came away feeling inspired to bring a similar approach to the Columbus bride. So they gathered a team of talented artists with a passion for bringing your bridal beauty vision to life.
