Kingdom Leadership Series: Obedience

As we continue our Kingdom Leadership Series, we now address the importance of obedience in leadership.

1 Peter 1: 14-15 says, “As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct” (I Peter 1:14-15 ESV)

Now, some of you may say, “You’re teaching about leadership. But a leader is the one giving orders, not the one under them.”

Well, we’re all under some authority. Even the loftiest of men are under authority to others.

Furthermore, as believers, we’re always under the authority of the King - of God. Therefore, we’re always called to obedience. And, if you're familiar with leadership at all, you know that one cannot possibly a good leader... unless one first learns to be an obedient follower.

What are the different ways that God asks us to be Obedient in order to promote us?
