We’ve heard the scripture from Mark chapter 12 verse 31 and Matthew chapter 22 verse 39, which says, “love your neighbor as yourself”, the imperative word here being “as.” The long form of this phrase would be “love your neighbor as you love yourself.” This implies that in order to be kind, compassionate, and generous to our neighbor, we must first be these things to ourselves. Amen!
For many people, they “know the verse” but have difficulty in implementation. For others, they try too hard to implement the verse and end in strife. For others, they just ignore it completely and are out for themselves.
Our guest today is Apostle Anthony Wilson, host of the “Love Thy Nay Bor Podcast” (spelled NAY and BOR). Anthony is on a mission to equip, encourage and elevate God’s people and to reach those who are far off and to bring them closer to God. He does this through sound doctrine and teaching and, through his podcast! Praise God! He is also the author of the book titled, “The Hand of God.” This book discusses true Biblical prosperity and success as a Christian
Today is the conclusion of this great three part interview!
Let’s shift gears a bit. Your book, “The Hand of God,” deals with Biblical Prosperity. What is the main difference between the world’s idea of prosperity and the Bible’s definition of prosperity?
I’ve had some people, not a lot, but some, get mad at me for charging a fee for some of my services. I try to explain that it costs money to run a ministry – and they still get upset, saying “You should just trust God to provide…”
But then, when I ask them if they go to work and earn a paycheck, why they don’t “just trust God to provide” – they REALLY get mad! But it does cost money to run a ministry. There are expenses involved in all that we do – PLUS – time. If I’m working 8 hours per day on this platform and working to assist others in getting the word out – shouldn’t the ministry be compensated?
Anthony, I’m telling you, if I find a promise in the Bible, there is no devil in hell that can talk me out of it. I teach everyone that, if you have a need – go to the Word. If you can find ONE scripture where God provided that need for someone else, THAT is the scripture you need to take that “uncompromising” stand on and just lift up to the Lord and thank Him continually for the answer.
You’d be surprised how many nasty notes I get that “I’m leading people astray.” Do you run into situations like that?
The Bible is God’s Word and His Word IS His Will and His promise to us. Amen!
Anthony, this has been truly fascinating. I’ve enjoyed our conversation today. Your book, “The Hand of God,” how can someone get a copy of it? Is it on Amazon?
And if someone wanted to reach out to you, to ask a question, invite you to come speak or maybe to do an interview like this, how can they get in touch with you?
I’ll put links to all of this down below in the show notes.
Folks, as you have heard Anthony Wilson and I go back and forth, the Word of God is so needful today than at any other time in human history. Events happening all around the world right now, yes, they’ve been happening since time began! But they are now happening in, what I call, a convergence. So many things are happening simultaneously instead of independently. And the Bible clearly tells us when these thing are happening all at the same time, to “Look up – for our redemption IS drawing near!” amen!
I encourage you to go down into the show notes can click the links there to get in touch with Apostle Anthony Wilson. Order his book, “The Hand of God.” In fact, you should order two or three or more and use them as witnessing tools and just hand them out as gifts. Amen!
