Speaker:Yukman. She is not your father's advisor
Speaker:and you are going to get to learn all about her today and
Speaker:just a little bit about really why you want to
Speaker:not just be at this year's holiday entrepreneur summit but why you

Speaker:so let's dive, right? Welcome, welcome,
Speaker:Carla. Thank you for being with us. Thank you so much for having me.
Speaker:I'm so excited to be here. I'm excited to have you share with everyone a
Speaker:little bit about yourself. Okay, so again, my name is
Speaker:Carla Yukman. I am founder and wealth planner
Speaker:of Artemis Wealth Management. And as
Speaker:Leilani said, I am not your father's advisor.
Speaker:And what does that mean? That means that I work with women and
Speaker:historically excluded communities where they come and have a
Speaker:safe space to build wealth their own way. And I
Speaker:do that by giving education
Speaker:behind financial, all things financial. And
Speaker:so I'm all about empowering you on how you want to
Speaker:build your wealth. So cool. And
Speaker:I have been just having well, actually, no, never mind. I'm
Speaker:not going to go there because I don't know when this is going to
Speaker:air. It wasn't anything crazy. I was about to say it was like date relative.
Speaker:I was going to say yesterday. Well, when is this airing? I haven't decided on
Speaker:the air date. So that's what I was talking about. For you guys who are
Speaker:listening, kind of a side note, it's so funny,
Speaker:the back end that goes into all of this stuff production
Speaker:wise. And when you are in flow normally in life, you're
Speaker:not thinking about all these things. Right? So
Speaker:when people talk about authenticity and showing up this way and that way,
Speaker:when you do that and there's production behind it, there's always going to be a
Speaker:little bit of let me just
Speaker:listen to my thoughts in my head, like, oh, is there a date? Or what
Speaker:am I talking about? What's going on? When is this airing? How's my
Speaker:audio? All these things. So anyway, moving on,
Speaker:we are so excited about this year's upcoming Holiday
Speaker:Entrepreneur Summit. What are you excited about when it comes
Speaker:to the Holiday Entrepreneur Summit? With everything you have going on as being a
Speaker:Wealth Advisor and going into 2024 and all the
Speaker:marketing and things you have going on for yourself? Yeah, I'm super
Speaker:excited because I know how important it is
Speaker:to market yourself, but I don't know how to do
Speaker:any of that. I am not an expert in that area.
Speaker:And I know that hiring an expert and
Speaker:seeing all these speakers, I just cannot
Speaker:believe that you got all those speakers that
Speaker:are experts in all their areas and
Speaker:they're over two day span. And I get to hear all
Speaker:that. And it's going to change the way that
Speaker:I'm doing a lot of things in my business and how I'm
Speaker:marketing myself as well. Because
Speaker:I want to do a podcast, I want
Speaker:to create more content.
Speaker:I just have a lot of things that I want to do for 2024.
Speaker:And the speakers that you are bringing in are
Speaker:going to answer a lot of those questions that I have. I
Speaker:love that. I love that so much. And
Speaker:I would say that you are a good marketer at this point.
Speaker:That's because of you.
Speaker:Well, you move with intention. When people talk about
Speaker:Coachable, you take something that's shared with you and you go and
Speaker:you implement. And so it's really been a pleasure working with you
Speaker:because you literally are doing the things like
Speaker:you're getting the rising creator status. Like, what is it, like almost every week, if
Speaker:not every week? Yeah, and I love
Speaker:seeing it. I love seeing it and I love that
Speaker:you're being recognized for it. So, yeah, this is to me for you. This
Speaker:isn't the next up level for you where you can kind of look at
Speaker:what's going in 2024. I love that you shared, that you are looking at
Speaker:starting a podcast because I know that people will
Speaker:listen. People love listening to you on the
Speaker:lives that you're doing already and how you're showing up already. So it's
Speaker:just a no brainer. There a definite no brainer there.
Speaker:So let me ask you this, switching gears
Speaker:back to you for a second. When people come to work with you, I
Speaker:love how you share. I'm not your father's advisor. What does that mean to
Speaker:you? Okay,
Speaker:so I've been doing this for ten years
Speaker:and I have seen a lot of things and I've also
Speaker:experienced a lot of things when it came to
Speaker:working with your traditional advisor.
Speaker:Before I got into the industry, I wanted help.
Speaker:I couldn't get it because I either
Speaker:made mistakes with my money and that person didn't
Speaker:want to give me the time of day or they wanted to talk to my
Speaker:husband instead of me, even though I was the one that was
Speaker:controlling the household inflow and outflow
Speaker:of the money. And I was just
Speaker:met with this judgment
Speaker:and I decided that throughout the
Speaker:years, I wanted to make sure that people didn't have
Speaker:that judgment when they came and talked about money. Because money is very
Speaker:vulnerable and emotional
Speaker:and a lot of us have had some traumas when it came
Speaker:to money. Maybe we spent more than what we
Speaker:had or we went through bankruptcies or divorces
Speaker:and there's just so many different things. And we should
Speaker:normalize having those conversations in a safe space,
Speaker:especially with a professional. And you shouldn't feel judged
Speaker:because that's what we're here for. So I want to make
Speaker:sure that people feel safe, and they're also
Speaker:heard and I hear this all the time,
Speaker:that someone meets with an advisor and
Speaker:they are put into, like, a cookie cutter approach.
Speaker:Their goals are never really heard from that advisor,
Speaker:and they're just sold something.
Speaker:And so I want to make sure that people are being heard as
Speaker:well and making sure that they
Speaker:have a space that they can build wealth their own
Speaker:way. I love that so much. And that's the
Speaker:way you show up. I was just sharing with you before
Speaker:we went live on this. Sharing how when
Speaker:you go live on the platforms, LinkedIn,
Speaker:Facebook, wherever you're going live, just watching you. Even if I was watching you
Speaker:from the first time ever and I didn't even know you, I would feel
Speaker:like a meeting with you to talk about finances would
Speaker:be one where I'm so taken care of, one
Speaker:where I'm being listened to. You're not
Speaker:treating me the same as everyone else. It's really
Speaker:customized for me. Not like, oh, this is the way it always is
Speaker:kind of approach, really listening to me and understanding
Speaker:and creating something and working with me on something that works for me and my
Speaker:family. So I'm just excited to let the
Speaker:world learn more about Carla Yukman. And
Speaker:just know, what does that mean? I'm not your father's advisor? Because
Speaker:you're beginning to make people understand that there
Speaker:is another way to go about, like, people are starting to feel more at ease
Speaker:in your circle. I see it talking about money and having these
Speaker:discussions, and that's the only way that we break these generational curses
Speaker:when it comes to money, is being able to start those conversations. So
Speaker:you definitely are someone that helps people start those
Speaker:conversations, which is the most important piece of that, because if you can't
Speaker:start it, then there's nothing that you can do. You can't make any
Speaker:kind of great investments if you're running from it and
Speaker:just ignoring that. You can do something with that. Right. You can
Speaker:build. So. Yeah, I love that. Thank
Speaker:you. Yeah. Okay,
Speaker:so share with everyone a little bit about what
Speaker:it's like to be a member of Get Seen. And because

Speaker:something that I've never experienced before in groups. So there's always these
Speaker:groups. You see all these paid groups, and
Speaker:I was like, there's something different, though, because of what you're
Speaker:providing educational wise and also community
Speaker:wise. So you have the education and the community
Speaker:together. So one of the things that I love is
Speaker:meet a member, you highlight a member, and
Speaker:we get to learn about that person, what they
Speaker:do in an intimate level, like what we're doing right now.
Speaker:I don't know very many groups that do that. You
Speaker:also provide lives. Like, you personally
Speaker:go live and give us information that you
Speaker:might have talked to somebody else that week or you saw something,
Speaker:and you're like, hey, I need my community to know this new software
Speaker:or these little tricks that nobody else is talking
Speaker:about. And you're providing that just in
Speaker:the group, and you're going live. And I
Speaker:feel like I'm getting to know you even better
Speaker:from those lives. And the information that you're
Speaker:giving to me is just so valuable when it
Speaker:comes to getting seen. And when we're talking
Speaker:about getting seen, it's not just social media. You're bringing
Speaker:people in as guest speakers for Master classes as
Speaker:well. We have Master classes that I get to participate
Speaker:in, and these speakers are
Speaker:a wide range of services that
Speaker:are going to help you ultimately get seen. But
Speaker:it's not just about, hey, how do you post on social
Speaker:media? It's about how do you offer your services? How are you going
Speaker:to collaborate with people? How do you get on
Speaker:stages, how do you get published? And
Speaker:so those are all different Master classes that
Speaker:you offer on this membership,
Speaker:and then that doesn't count the office
Speaker:work time where there's music and we can all just work
Speaker:together. And it truly is a different
Speaker:experience, and it's so valuable, the information
Speaker:that you're bringing into this group. So it's been amazing.

Speaker:are experiencing and then compare it to
Speaker:your vision, your intention is it aligned, all of those things. And it just

Speaker:deep dive into your financial goals.
Speaker:We plan out how we're going to reach those. You have
Speaker:me biweekly on
Speaker:accountability sessions, and you're not doing this
Speaker:journey alone. You have me where I'm going to
Speaker:encourage you to take those steps that might be
Speaker:scary to either readjust things in your life
Speaker:or maybe just look
Speaker:at money a different way. And so that's my signature
Speaker:program. I also work in the space
Speaker:of investing, so a lot of people are like, oh man, investing?
Speaker:I don't even want to talk about that. It's scary.
Speaker:It's not scary. It doesn't have to be scary. And I make sure that
Speaker:it's not scary for you. So I also
Speaker:make sure that I'm not just throwing
Speaker:allocations or what you should be doing with your money at
Speaker:you without actually sharing. How does investing even
Speaker:work? I break down what words
Speaker:we use a lot in the industry, and I want to share those with
Speaker:you so that you feel comfortable and empowered when it comes
Speaker:to investing and you understand what
Speaker:this investment world is all about. So that's another way that we can work
Speaker:together. And the other way that is super
Speaker:dear to my heart is protection. What I mean by that
Speaker:is life insurance and disability coverage. And
Speaker:when it comes to life insurance, I've been doing this, like I said,
Speaker:for ten years, and I want to make sure that you're not being just
Speaker:sold something. It actually fits
Speaker:in your unique picture, and
Speaker:you are given the right policy
Speaker:so that you can have coverage for your
Speaker:family and generations to come and you're not just being sold.

Speaker:we get ahead of ourselves and we're like, okay, well,
Speaker:I want to get this situated, but I don't know if I can do this.
Speaker:And that we're making up stuff that's not even our area of expertise. So
Speaker:at least have the phone call and then sometimes when you have that conversation. Maybe
Speaker:it doesn't work out, but who cares? At least you're prepared for when you are
Speaker:ready to know what you need to have in place when it does. So there's
Speaker:literally nothing that should ever stop us from starting to move
Speaker:that ball forward in the right direction on
Speaker:improving all these different aspects of our life, whatever they may be. And
Speaker:I think that everyone should be connected with you, and everyone
Speaker:should be talking to you about what they're doing with their money
Speaker:and making plans and strategizing and figuring that
Speaker:out. It has been so wonderful having you
