Speaker:

Hello, and welcome to the

Crochet Business School podcast.

2

:

I'm your host, Kelly Thomas, and

today I want to tell you all about

3

:

the Crochet Business Blueprint.

4

:

So in last week's episode, I told you

I had something coming and that I was

5

:

gonna tell you more about the blueprint.

6

:

This is it.

7

:

So let me tell you all about it

8

:

So over the last 10 weeks, we've been

talking about why selling what you

9

:

make isn't working and what you can

do instead, and all the steps that

10

:

you kind of need to go through both

practically and mentally to make

11

:

that change in your crochet business.

12

:

What the blueprint is, is me helping

you go through that process of working

13

:

ways, of working the way through, of

taking your business where you sell

14

:

what you make and changing it into

something that has recurring income and

15

:

that is actually going to make you a

living without leaving you exhausted,

16

:

without you having to work 60, 70 hours

17

:

a week just to make minimum wage, and

that gives you time to enjoy life.

18

:

Your crochet business shouldn't be a slog.

19

:

It shouldn't take over your life.

20

:

It shouldn't be the thing

that you are stressing about

21

:

every time you take time off.

22

:

What you want is a business that works

for you and not you working for it.

23

:

If you want a flexible lifestyle,

be able to work the hours you want

24

:

when you want, work part-time but

still make a full-time income, your

25

:

crochet business can do that for you.

26

:

But you need to have recurring income

27

:

We kind of get sold this myth when we

start selling what we make that it is

28

:

possible to make a lot of money from it.

29

:

But the reality is, is that,

that is incredibly difficult.

30

:

The time versus the profit that

you make, it just doesn't add up.

31

:

And so the reality for most crochet

business owners is that they either end

32

:

up giving up because they just don't see

a way around it, or because they're just

33

:

too exhausted to take it any further.

34

:

The blueprint, I'm gonna show you the

way, and we will do this together step

35

:

by step so that you go from a crochet

business that is leaving you exhausted

36

:

and broke to one that actually makes

you a profit that pays the bills

37

:

and allows you to live your life.

38

:

It is very possible, and you

have seven different ways

39

:

that you can make that happen.

40

:

So the blueprint is 90 days, and

we're going to go through the

41

:

whole thing from start to finish.

42

:

We start with a quiz, and that is going

to help you narrow down your options.

43

:

So these seven options, seven

doesn't sound like a lot of options,

44

:

but actually when you get into

what they involve, it's a lot.

45

:

It's quite overwhelming.

46

:

So although we're not going to say, "No,

you can't do these things because the

47

:

quiz doesn't line up with that," what

the quiz is there for is to give you an

48

:

idea of what would work best for you.

49

:

And then you can dive into the library.

50

:

So there is a library of knowledge

about each of the seven different ways

51

:

of making money from your crochet.

52

:

So from crochet patterns, YouTube,

blogs, affiliate marketing,

53

:

courses, e-books, the lot.

54

:

And it's a deep dive into how all of them

work, what platforms you can use, what

55

:

type of things you can create, and the

kind of price ranges that it works for.

56

:

We go into all of them.

57

:

With that amount of information, it

can be quite overwhelming, but the

58

:

quiz is your guide of where to start.

59

:

So by all means, go through all seven,

but the quiz gives you an idea of

60

:

where to start so you're not completely

overwhelmed about what maybe suits

61

:

you and what doesn't And then we have

live calls, so that every two weeks,

62

:

and we jump on live together, there'll

be a bit of coaching from me, but

63

:

mostly it's gonna be Q&A from you.

64

:

What do you need to know?

65

:

What are your questions?

66

:

What are you struggling with?

67

:

Let's make it happen because this is your

chance to figure out how everything works.

68

:

Now, I have dabbled in pretty much

every way of making money from

69

:

crochet through recurring income

because I'm curious that way.

70

:

I'm too curious for my own good,

and I've tried them all, basically.

71

:

I know what's going on.

72

:

I know how each of them works.

73

:

I know what suits me, and I know

what doesn't, and I know why.

74

:

And you can pick my brains to

figure out what's best for you.

75

:

And this is the whole point of the thing.

76

:

It w- you're not, I'm not

teaching you how to do what I do.

77

:

I'm showing you what your options

are, what the pitfalls are, what the

78

:

pros and cons of each of them are, so

that you can make a decision to make

79

:

a crochet business that works for you.

80

:

And everyone is different.

81

:

What works for one person isn't

gonna work for somebody else.

82

:

So it's really important that we create

a business for you that works around

83

:

your lifestyle, that works around

your strengths, and works around what

84

:

you enjoy because there's no point

doing this if you don't enjoy it.

85

:

So we want to choose the option

that works best for you, and we're

86

:

going to do that through the calls.

87

:

There is a community group as well,

so you can post your questions in

88

:

there and connect with everyone else

that's going through the blueprint.

89

:

And then at the end of the 90 days,

you're gonna come out with your

90

:

roadmap, your personalized path of

what your crochet business is going

91

:

to be doing for the next 90 days.

92

:

So the blueprint itself

is a 90-day program.

93

:

You're going to leave with a

roadmap for what you're going to

94

:

be doing for the next 90 days.

95

:

So you're going to have everything

you need to get this crochet

96

:

business up and running and start

making the money that you need.

97

:

Now, let's be clear.

98

:

Th- this is not a quick fix.

99

:

The blueprint takes work.

100

:

You are going to put,

have to put the work in.

101

:

I'm not going to do the work for you.

102

:

I can't do that.

103

:

It's your business.

104

:

That's how it needs to happen.

105

:

But what I can do is help guide you,

I can answer your questions, and I

106

:

can help you figure out what's best

for you, but the decisions are yours.

107

:

Now, if you can't make the

live calls, don't worry.

108

:

Everything is recorded and

gets rec- um, placed into the

109

:

library, so you can catch up later

110

:

The blueprint is for you if you need

support, if you need structure, if you

111

:

need a guiding hand through this process.

112

:

Because knowing what to do

and actually getting done are

113

:

two very different things.

114

:

It's just not always easy to

do these things by yourself.

115

:

Having accountability, having that

support on hand to s- help the second

116

:

guessing, because we all do it.

117

:

We all get stuck in our own

heads and start wondering if

118

:

we're making the right decision.

119

:

I can help you with that.

120

:

Um, if you are second guessing

yourself, if you have got those mind

121

:

monkeys raging away telling you that

this is a silly idea, why are you

122

:

bothering, I can help you with that too.

123

:

I'm straight talking, I

will tell you as it is.

124

:

And the best thing you can do for

your crochet business and for the

125

:

dream you have of making a living

from it, is setting yourself

126

:

up for the long-term future.

127

:

We want to create a sustainable crochet

business that not only brings you

128

:

the profit that you need, but gives

you the chance to live your life.

129

:

We want time.

130

:

You want the money to be able to pay the

bills and still have time to live, and

131

:

that's what we're gonna create for you.

132

:

So you don't need to have

a clear direction going in.

133

:

You just need to be ready to

make that change of embracing

134

:

new ideas, of embracing new

possibilities, and be open to new

135

:

things and setting up something new.

136

:

So the blueprint starts in September,

and it's gonna be a small group.

137

:

I'm only opening up up to eight places,

and it's so that we can have the time

138

:

with each other, and I can give everyone

all the attention that they need.

139

:

So the blueprint is $397, or

three monthly payments of 133,

140

:

and that covers the entire 90 days.

141

:

That covers your 90-day roadmap.

142

:

And then if you still want support after

you finish the blueprint, there's gonna be

143

:

a alumni community, and that will be $27 a

month, so you can continue getting support

144

:

even after you finish the blueprint.

145

:

That is op- entirely optional.

146

:

You don't have to stay.

147

:

I would love it if you did.

148

:

I would love to see what you create, and I

can be there to support you the whole way.

149

:

So 397 for th- for the 90-day

blueprint, that's in dollars.

150

:

And we're gonna start in September, and

we're going to finally get this done.

151

:

Once the kids are back in

school, there's no excuses left.

152

:

Let's turn your crochet business

into a profit-making machine, and

153

:

your next Christmas could look

so different from the ones before

154

:

When I stopped selling what I

made and turned to writing crochet

155

:

patterns, best decision ever.

156

:

I tripled my income within six

months, and I've never regretted it.

157

:

What I did regret was not doing it

sooner because the exhaustion, the

158

:

constant stressing, the having to deal

with packages going missing, wondering

159

:

if I'm gonna get any orders this week,

wondering if I'm gonna run out of yarn

160

:

for this product that I have and then do

I have to order more before I get more

161

:

sales in, all that stress went away.

162

:

And you kind of don't realize just

how stressful it is until it stops

163

:

But wouldn't you love just to be able

to have your evenings back to yourself?

164

:

To not have to be obligated to crochet

every chance you get, and instead get the

165

:

love of your crochet back, get the freedom

to crochet when you want, what you want.

166

:

This is taking back control, not over only

your crochet, but of your time, of your

167

:

stress levels, let's bring those down, and

create the business that's right for you

168

:

Now, I understand if this is a

really big investment for you.

169

:

It's a lot of money.

170

:

Um, I'm not blind to that, but there

are other ways I can help you too.

171

:

So if you're not ready for the blueprint,

then if you've been following this

172

:

podcast series, then you know there's

a workbook called Map Your Path.

173

:

It's free to download, and the

steps you need to take are in there.

174

:

You can do this process by yourself.

175

:

It will take longer than if you have

that guidance to help you through, but

176

:

there is no reason why you can't do

that for yourself if you w- want to.

177

:

Listen back to the podcast in the series.

178

:

They're all in the playlist.

179

:

I will link that beneath in the

comments, and I will also link

180

:

to the Map Your Path workbook.

181

:

Download that, and the steps are there.

182

:

If you want the middle ground,

then I've got Kelly on Call.

183

:

It's where you get me in a private Voxer

chat, and we can talk through things.

184

:

I can answer your questions, and that

is $79 for the first month, and then it

185

:

drops down to $49 every month after that.

186

:

And that's because you just ask all your

questions in the first month, so there's

187

:

a lot more work involved, and with that,

there comes a free audit of your site.

188

:

Now, you can claim that audit in…

189

:

straight away, or you can

claim it further down the line.

190

:

It's entirely up to you.

191

:

So you can wait until you've got your new

business up and running and set before you

192

:

ask for the audit and get my opinion on

where your crochet business is heading.

193

:

So there's three

different options for you.

194

:

We've got the blueprint,

which starts in September.

195

:

The link is in the show notes, and

that's $397, or three payments of $133.

196

:

You've got the free Map Your Path

workbook, which will help you through

197

:

the steps that you need to take.

198

:

Or the middle ground, Kelly on Call, $79

for the first month, $49 for every month

199

:

after that with a free audit of your, um,

crochet business thrown in there as well.

200

:

All the links you need are in the show

notes, and I cannot wait to get started.

201

:

So if you have any questions about

the blueprint, please do let me know.

202

:

You can put them into the

comments, or you can email me at

203

:

[email protected],

204

:

and I will get back to

you as soon as I can.

205

:

So thank you for watching, and I

hope to see you in the blueprint, and

206

:

please ask away for those questions.

207

:

And thank you for watching, and I shall

see you next time for next episode.

208

:

Bye for now.
