Shownotes

The focal point of this message resides in the profound assertion that "fear is not okay," a sentiment that resonates throughout the scriptures. Fear is a tool wielded by the adversary, aiming to undermine our faith and keep people in bondage. In contrast, the liberating power found in Christ has defeated the author of fear and granted us the spirit of love, power, and a sound mind.

Takeaways:

  • In Hebrews, the profound notion is presented that Jesus partook of our flesh and blood, thereby destroying the power of death wielded by the devil.
  • Fear is identified as a significant force that undergirds hell's operation, illustrating its role as a tool of oppression wielded by Satan against humanity.
  • Jesus's sacrifice liberated humanity from the bondage of fear, emphasizing that believers are now subjects of divine love rather than fear.
  • Understanding the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus is crucial for overcoming the law of sin and death that leads to condemnation.
  • The message of shalom conveys the divine promise of wholeness and completeness, highlighting that believers are called to live in peace rather than fear.

Transcripts

Speaker A:

Go to the book of Revelation to begin with.

Speaker A:

And then the second scripture we'll read will be from the Book of Hebrews.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Jesus.

Speaker A:

Revelation.

Speaker A:

Let's look in the 21st chapter, verse six.

Speaker A:

We'll read down through the eighth verse, verse six.

Speaker A:

And he said unto me, it is done.

Speaker A:

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.

Speaker A:

I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Speaker A:

He that overcometh shall inherit all things.

Speaker A:

And I'll be his God, and he shall be my son.

Speaker A:

But the fearful and the unbelieving and the abominable and murderers and whoremongers and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

Speaker A:

And you notice what the first thing in that list was.

Speaker A:

Fear is what makes hell work.

Speaker A:

You remember, the Bible says that hell is a bottomless pit.

Speaker A:

Well, it's not.

Speaker A:

It's not physically bottomless because the location of the thing is in the belly of the earth.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

But everybody there feels like they're falling all the time.

Speaker A:

There is a constant sense of falling fear.

Speaker A:

And everything in there is filled with fear.

Speaker A:

Because hell was created for the devil and his angels, they're in there.

Speaker A:

And that fear is in there.

Speaker A:

Satan is the author of fear.

Speaker A:

I wanted you to see.

Speaker A:

In fact, it'd be good for you to say it right now.

Speaker A:

Fear is not okay.

Speaker A:

Fear is not okay.

Speaker A:

You notice here that the fearful and the unbeliever notice they come together, of course.

Speaker A:

Now let's go over to the book of Hebrews, chapter 2.

Speaker A:

Let's look at verse 14 and 15.

Speaker A:

For as much then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He, Jesus also himself likewise took part of the same.

Speaker A:

That through death he might, Jesus might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil.

Speaker A:

Now you notice it said him that had the power of death.

Speaker A:

He had the power of death.

Speaker A:

I said he had.

Speaker A:

Past tense.

Speaker A:

He had the power of death.

Speaker A:

You remember when Jesus was raised from the dead, he said, all power has been given unto me, both in heaven and in earth.

Speaker A:

Speaker A:

And he destroyed that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil.

Speaker A:

And deliver them, underline the word deliver and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Speaker A:

All their lifetime subject to bondage.

Speaker A:

Subject to it.

Speaker A:

A subject is someone, is under the dominion of another.

Speaker A:

A subject is someone that is under the dominion of the king, there is the king and his subjects.

Speaker A:

They are subject to everything he says they are.

Speaker A:

In the case of a king, they're subject to his emotions, they're subject to his life.

Speaker A:

And if he's a bad king, there ain't nothing around here good.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Why?

Speaker A:

Because they're subject to him.

Speaker A:

They're subject to bondage.

Speaker A:

Bondage became king, bondage came.

Speaker A:

And the people said, how long you going to be here this time?

Speaker A:

Every time you.

Speaker A:

Every time they heard a knock on the door, open the door and it is bondage.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

But you remember Jesus came preaching, the spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor.

Speaker A:

So he's saying, poor, you don't have to be in bondage to that anymore.

Speaker A:

Hallelujah.

Speaker A:

He sent me to heal the brokenhearted, see?

Speaker A:

He sent Jesus to do away with the bondage.

Speaker A:

And we're not subject to bondage.

Speaker A:

We're subject to Jesus, subject to the love of God.

Speaker A:

We're subject to the word of God.

Speaker A:

We're subject to the name of Jesus.

Speaker A:

We're subject to the righteousness of God.

Speaker A:

We are subject to divine prosperity.

Speaker A:

We are subject to healing.

Speaker A:

We're subject to deliverance, man.

Speaker A:

Hallelujah.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Why?

Speaker A:

Because we're his subject.

Speaker A:

And we're not just his subject.

Speaker A:

Jesus does not dominate the church.

Speaker A:

We're joint heirs with him.

Speaker A:

Hallelujah.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Settle down.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

I can get, I can get really, really going over this.

Speaker A:

And I have instructions to get in the scriptures and stay there.

Speaker A:

You help me, I can take off.

Speaker A:

I'll just take off running here if I don't watch out.

Speaker A:

Alright, let's go over to the eighth chapter of the book of Romans.

Speaker A:

Now we're just setting some foundation stones here.

Speaker A:

We're going to come back and take a look at these scriptures later on.

Speaker A:

We'll work with them and see how they work.

Speaker A:

See what all is involved in all of these.

Speaker A:

Romans, chapter 8, verse 1.

Speaker A:

There is therefore now say now say it again.

Speaker A:

You notice every time you say it, it's now.

Speaker A:

You can't say now.

Speaker A:

In the past.

Speaker A:

Now always is in the affirmative.

Speaker A:

Therefore there is now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, which are in the Anointed One.

Speaker A:

And his anointing walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Speaker A:

Now look at this for the law of the Spirit of life in the anointed Jesus.

Speaker A:

And in his anointing hath.

Speaker A:

There it is again.

Speaker A:

That's Past tense has made me free.

Speaker A:

The law of sin and death.

Speaker A:

The law, the laws that govern sin and death.

Speaker A:

The Bible said sin came into the world and death by sin.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

It does not just float around randomly.

Speaker A:

The devil would like for us to think so.

Speaker A:

And he's conjured up a whole body of work based on the idea of luck and chance and denying such thing.

Speaker A:

This is a very highly organized spiritual place, this earth.

Speaker A:

Very highly organized.

Speaker A:

If you could see what's going on in the spirit world, there's more of them than there are of us on both sides.

Speaker A:

And you and I are sitting in the middle, all of the angelic hosts of God.

Speaker A:

And we can account for in the scriptures, we can account for 2/3 more of them than they are devils in the angelic class.

Speaker A:

We can account for that.

Speaker A:

So that in itself should be a great comfort.

Speaker A:

But if you're still, you know, you're still going around dealing with luck and chance and all that, you're not even thinking about angels, you're not even thinking about those things that have been given to you in authority and power and protection and all those things.

Speaker A:

And you know, somebody will come up and say some stupid thing like, well, if it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have no luck at all.

Speaker A:

You know, that ain't funny, Jack.

Speaker A:

You just cut your own spiritual throat right there.

Speaker A:

You can trace the word luck the way back to the word Lucifer, where it comes from.

Speaker A:

There are a lot of people that wondered why gambling.

Speaker A:

We're over on chance now, see why gambling is crosswise with God in the first place.

Speaker A:

God is not against sin because he don't want you having any fun.

Speaker A:

That's not the problem.

Speaker A:

God is against sin because it'll kill you.

Speaker A:

And it goes crosswise.

Speaker A:

The laws of sin and death and the laws of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus are not compatible at all.

Speaker A:

And Satan is doing his best to get you to function over in the laws of sin and death if he can get you to do that.

Speaker A:

The one with the power and authority of death.

Speaker A:

Because the word says the power and authority of life and death is in the tongue.

Speaker A:

And your tongue's been connected to a born again spirit filled with the Holy Ghost.

Speaker A:

Oh, amen.

Speaker A:

Jesus is the one with the authority, but he's delegated that authority to the body of Christ.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Now everything that happens in this earth, it's our fault.

Speaker A:

Even directly or indirectly, it winds up being our prayer fault.

Speaker A:

And a lot of it is through our own ignorance.

Speaker A:

But we don't have any business being ignorant.

Speaker A:

We got wrapped up in religion and lost hold of the word of God.

Speaker A:

But I'll tell you what, in the last 50 years, particularly here in the United States, the last 25 or 30, all over the world, God's been restoring all that glory to God.

Speaker A:

I mean, listen, listen, I'm going to tell you something.

Speaker A:

What people have called the faith movement and the prosperity movement and all that, that's just God restoring to the church what they ought to had all the time have nothing to do with some kind of religious movement.

Speaker A:

Dear Lord, God's restoring what his people should have had all the time.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Nobody should have been able to crack the spiritual walls of this country.

Speaker A:

Not because God just had it like this, but because the body of Christ had it like this.

Speaker A:

We're the ones with the armor.

Speaker A:

We're the ones with the ability and the power to pray in tongues.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Well, what's been the problem?

Speaker A:

Well, most of us, because we've been too tied up doing other stuff.

Speaker A:

But there's a lot of that's changing.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

A lot of that's changing, particularly now.

Speaker A:

Now then, chance or games of chance.

Speaker A:

The reason that God not for that is because under the laws of chance, which is not the laws of chance, it's the law of sin and death.

Speaker A:

Now over here, under the law of sin and death, one of the elements of that law is somebody always has to lose.

Speaker A:

And under the chance law, which gambling is based on and other forms are based on it, if you have a winner, somebody else lost.

Speaker A:

And that's not God.

Speaker A:

He's not interested in anybody losing.

Speaker A:

Over here, under the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus is give and it'll be given unto you again.

Speaker A:

Over here is seed, time and harvest.

Speaker A:

God said, I want you to give that fellow.

Speaker A:

I want you to give that fellow $100.

Speaker A:

Well, you've sowed that hundred into him.

Speaker A:

He's blessed.

Speaker A:

But then he God is the God of shalom.

Speaker A:

He's the God of peace.

Speaker A:

That's also translated prosperity.

Speaker A:

It's also translated wholeness.

Speaker A:

It's also translated completeness.

Speaker A:

In the premier Hebrew English text or the in the premier Hebrew English school in Jerusalem, the number one school there in their textbook where they teach English speaking Jews that come home to Israel how to speak Hebrew.

Speaker A:

And of course the first thing you're going to have to teach them is about shalom because they're going to hear that everybody sees them.

Speaker A:

You know, that's the greeting on the street and they need to know what's being said to them.

Speaker A:

So that's one of the first things that they're taught.

Speaker A:

This person, this author of this textbook said in there.

Speaker A:

Gloria and I read it for ourselves.

Speaker A:

I'll tell you, this is one of the most exciting pages of a book I ever read other than the Bible.

Speaker A:

It said that this word is translated in the Bible, prosperity.

Speaker A:

It's translated wholeness.

Speaker A:

It's translated completeness.

Speaker A:

And of course, that wholeness, completely completeness, that brings peace, doesn't it?

Speaker A:

Our word peace really encompasses that.

Speaker A:

Jesus is the prince of shalom.

Speaker A:

But here's what got to me.

Speaker A:

He said the best way I can explain the meaning of the word shalom in English is nothing missing, nothing broken.

Speaker A:

That's the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus.

Speaker A:

So you see, instead of the law of chance, there's a lot of fear that goes with the law of chance.

Speaker A:

You're afraid you're going to lose your money.

Speaker A:

You probably are, because there are going to be a whole bunch of people lose and only one guy win.

Speaker A:

And the guy that wins is usually the one that owns the whole bank.

Speaker A:

If you're playing on his table, you are full fool.

Speaker A:

You know you're going to lose.

Speaker A:

And you stupid enough go in there and do it.

Speaker A:

But that's the way.

Speaker A:

That's the way the law of sin and death will warp your thinking.

Speaker A:

Now here's the way the law of life works.

Speaker A:

And this is the difference.

Speaker A:

And there's no fear in this.

Speaker A:

The reason people get messed up on on giving is they're afraid, they're giving away.

Speaker A:

Get that out of your vocabulary.

Speaker A:

Well, I gave it away.

Speaker A:

No, you didn't.

Speaker A:

You gave it into.

Speaker A:

You didn't give it away.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

You gave it into something.

Speaker A:

Now if God, let's say for instance, that God instructed you to give something to her, well, if he instructed you to give to her, he's responsible for something being missing, isn't that right?

Speaker A:

So now, since he's responsible for something being missing, then it's his responsibility to replace it.

Speaker A:

That's shalom.

Speaker A:

And Jesus is the prince of shalom.

Speaker A:

You don't ever want something missing from you.

Speaker A:

So what's he going to do?

Speaker A:

Well, since he wants to bless her and her and her and her and her and her and him and him and him, he's going to.

Speaker A:

And since he found out she's obedient, so he's going to replace the one that she gave with 100.

Speaker A:

Now, amen.

Speaker A:

She's going to turn around and tithe.

Speaker A:

When she turned around and tithed, God said, that's my girl.

Speaker A:

That's my girl right there.

Speaker A:

I knew she would.

Speaker A:

And when she made that divine covenant connection of tithing, God stands there as her shalom.

Speaker A:

See now this is the way of the law of the spirit of life in Christ.

Speaker A:

Jesus has made me.

Speaker A:

Put me in control up.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker A:

Made me free from the law of sin and death.

Speaker A:

Hallelujah.

Speaker A:

Sin doesn't have any authority over you.

Speaker A:

Ever notice how an addiction works?

Speaker A:

Those of you have been addicted to anything you do?

Speaker A:

Well, I've never been addicted to anything.

Speaker A:

You never worried about anything.

Speaker A:

Oh, well, I didn't know that was an addiction.

Speaker A:

That's the addiction.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Worry is a constant dwelling and meditation on the lies of the devil.

Speaker A:

Law of sin and death.

Speaker A:

Until it gets in your heart in abundance through the words of your mouth, and then it'll come to pass.

Speaker A:

Fear connects you to Satan the way faith connects you to God.

Speaker A:

We'll see all this in the scriptures that we're going to get into in reading now.

Speaker A:

Notice the difference between those two laws and how they work.

Speaker A:

Since this young believer knows God, she knows his word, she knows his love for her.

Speaker A:

She knows.

Speaker A:

And that love lets her know constantly and continually.

Speaker A:

God is always out for my advancement and my growth.

Speaker A:

He's always out to help me.

Speaker A:

He's always out to build me up.

Speaker A:

Glory to God.

Speaker A:

Hallelujah.

Speaker A:

Always.

Speaker A:

So he never asked me to do anything that's not out of love.

Speaker A:

Ephesians 3, starting with the 14th verse, said that I pray that you be strengthened with might by his spirit in your inner man.

Speaker A:

That along with all the saints we might comprehend.

Speaker A:

Now that's more than to just have a understanding of.

Speaker A:

That is a working knowledge of.

Speaker A:

Anybody with money enough for a ticket can go fly in an airplane.

Speaker A:

And you understand that.

Speaker A:

You understand enough about it, how it works to go get in and ride anything.

Speaker A:

But I have comprehension of it because I fly.

Speaker A:

I've learned more knowledge.

Speaker A:

Just go buy a ticket and go to the gate and get on there.

Speaker A:

That's the difference here.

Speaker A:

That's what he's.

Speaker A:

Here's what he's talking about.

Speaker A:

To comprehend with all the saints.

Speaker A:

The length, the breadth, the height, the depth to comprehend.

Speaker A:

But then he goes a step further than that.

Speaker A:

He says to have a working knowledge of and to intimately be related with.

Speaker A:

Same word is translated intercourse.

Speaker A:

To know.

Speaker A:

To know intimately, be entwined with and know the love.

Speaker A:

Christ.

Speaker A:

Listen to that.

Speaker A:

To know the love of the anointing of the anointed one.

Speaker A:

Every act of anointing God, anointing Jesus, Jesus being anointed, Jesus ministering to people under the anointing.

Speaker A:

Every act of anointing is an act of love because the anointing removes burdens and destroys yokes.

Speaker A:

Now, let me ask you another question.

Speaker A:

Is poverty a burden and a yoke?

Speaker A:

It must be.

Speaker A:

I mean, those of us that have experienced it know that it is.

Speaker A:

But we.

Speaker A:

I mean, we know that naturally.

Speaker A:

But we go to the word of God and find out that the Word says that it is because Jesus said, he has anointed me to preach.

Speaker A:

He has anointed me.

Speaker A:

He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor.

Speaker A:

Well, if the anointing is the burden, removing yoke, destroying power of God, and he anointed Jesus with the burden, removing yoke, destroying power, then poverty must be a burden in the yoke.

Speaker A:

So was everything else in that list.

Speaker A:

Now, with it, we know that, see, you can come into a place where you know that intimately.

Speaker A:

Where you know your father loves you.

Speaker A:

Where you know without a shadow of a doubt, you ain't wondering about it anymore.

Speaker A:

You know that you know.

Speaker A:

And you know that you know because you know that you know.

Speaker A:

I just know that I know.

Speaker A:

Glory to God.

Speaker A:

Knowing that God loves you, knowing that his Word is true.

Speaker A:

Knowing the elements, now this is important now.

Speaker A:

Knowing elements of the law, of the Spirit, of life in Christ Jesus.

Speaker A:

When you know those elements, you put all the elements of a law together, they work.

Speaker A:

A law doesn't just work for one person and not work for another.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker A:

There is no time that anybody ever went out to the ground, dug a hole and dropped a seed in there.

Speaker A:

And the ground spit the seed back up and said, I am not growing corn anymore.

Speaker A:

You put it back in there.

Speaker A:

Why?

Speaker A:

The ground was created to grow.

Speaker A:

The seed was created to produce.

Speaker A:

Put the seed and the ground together, water it, and get light to it, it will grow.

Speaker A:

Isn't that the truth?

Speaker A:

Why, the laws of seed, plant harvest.

Speaker A:

Now, if you don't, water may not grow at all, even a little growth, but it won't be any good.

Speaker A:

If you cut the light off to it, you're not going to get any growth.

Speaker A:

You have to have all the elements of the law.

Speaker A:

Now, when you learn the laws that govern the spirit of life in Christ Jesus, which is his word.

Speaker A:

It is his word.

Speaker A:

When you.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker A:

When the word of God has been sown into your spirit and you're walking in it, you're speaking it with your mouth and it has come to the place where it has begun to absorb your thinking.

Speaker A:

All this time, something's happening inside your spirit.

Speaker A:

Jesus said two parts of this law.

Speaker A:

One of them, well, first let me back up.

Speaker A:

He covered, he said the entire law.

Speaker A:

In the fourth chapter of the book of Mark, he said, if you can understand this parable, you can understand them all.

Speaker A:

So this was the basic foundation of the sower.

Speaker A:

Went out to sow and then he gave us all of Satan's operation.

Speaker A:

He said, satan cometh immediately to take away the word that was sown.

Speaker A:

That's what he's after.

Speaker A:

He said, persecution ariseth for the word's sake.

Speaker A:

You remember that.

Speaker A:

Then he came over in the 10th chapter of the book of Mark.

Speaker A:

The rich young ruler came up and Jesus talked to him.

Speaker A:

The guy got grieved and walked off.

Speaker A:

And in the conversation, own staff members after this guy left, they said, my goodness, how can anybody be saved?

Speaker A:

He said it, Jesus says, hard for rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Speaker A:

Now, when he said kingdom of God, he wasn't talking about heaven, he was talking about.

Speaker A:

And he explained this.

Speaker A:

If you read it all through there, he explained it.

Speaker A:

It's hard for a rich man to do things the way God's kingdom does them.

Speaker A:

Used to using his money, not his faith.

Speaker A:

See, he has faith in money.

Speaker A:

He believes in money, which is the lowest form of power there is on the earth.

Speaker A:

Highest form of power is the word prayer, the blood and the name.

Speaker A:

So these guys said, how can anybody be saved?

Speaker A:

That don't sound like a poor man, does it?

Speaker A:

You?

Speaker A:

When they talk about the rich not making it, they all jumped back and said, whoa, how can any of us be saved?

Speaker A:

Jesus said, impossible men possible with God.

Speaker A:

Then he went ahead, they said, well, we've given all.

Speaker A:

What do we get?

Speaker A:

He said, now listen here, he said, he that is given for my sake in the gospels.

Speaker A:

Now, what did he say over there in the seed planting session he had with them in Mark 4?

Speaker A:

This is Mark 10 I'm talking about.

Speaker A:

Now, see, they'd already heard Mark 4.

Speaker A:

Taught it to them all day long.

Speaker A:

He preached it and then after the meeting was over with, sent the people away and he preached it to them until dark.

Speaker A:

Now, here we are over in the tenth chapter here.

Speaker A:

Now over there in the fourth chapter, you remember, he said, the sower sows the word.

Speaker A:

They said, we have given all.

Speaker A:

Okay, so now he's already talked to him certain things about this.

Speaker A:

And he said, any man that gives for my sake and the gospel's land, House, family, named off several things there, including material things.

Speaker A:

House and land, so forth shall receive in this life.

Speaker A:

Houses, lands.

Speaker A:

The only thing in there he didn't put plural was wives.

Speaker A:

No, no, no, no, that ain't going to work like that.

Speaker A:

Why?

Speaker A:

Because in that particular case here you would infringing on another part of the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus.

Speaker A:

See?

Speaker A:

So you're not going to infringe on that part of that law.

Speaker A:

It wouldn't work, would it?

Speaker A:

Now listen to what he said a hundredfold.

Speaker A:

Well, now isn't that what he was teaching over there in Mark 4?

Speaker A:

Some 30, some 60, and some a hundredfold.

Speaker A:

Well, here he was applying this to what he taught over there now.

Speaker A:

And I said all that to get you to this point.

Speaker A:

Listen to hear what he said with persecutions.

Speaker A:

Oh, persecutions.

Speaker A:

What are we going to do?

Speaker A:

Persecution, persecution.

Speaker A:

Now wait a minute.

Speaker A:

Go back over to Mark 4 where he taught about persecution arises for the word's sake.

Speaker A:

What word?

Speaker A:

The word you shall receive a hundredfold.

Speaker A:

He'll do his best to keep that from working in you because he knows what you're going to do with your money you gave for God's sake.

Speaker A:

And the gospel just revealed to you the law of giving, receiving, the law of seed, plant, harvest.

Speaker A:

And he gave you the law of sin and death that will try to break open the law of the spirit of life which is given.

Speaker A:

It will be given unto you again.

Speaker A:

Here comes persecution to try to stop it from working.

Speaker A:

And the only way you can stop it is to get you turn it loose because he won't quit.

Speaker A:

The law works all the time.

Speaker A:

Law works all the time.

Speaker A:

Are you listening to me?

Speaker A:

Now let's get over into another area of this and then we'll go back and read some more scriptures.

Speaker A:

Those laws function 100% of the time.

Speaker A:

When God raised Jesus from the dead, authority and all power was given unto him.

Speaker A:

He sat down at the right hand of majesty till his enemies be made his footstool.

Speaker A:

And he said, you take my name and you go all over this world and you preach the gospel to every creature and you take my name and you cast out the devil.

Speaker A:

You put on the full armor of God.

Speaker A:

You stand against the wiles of the devil.

Speaker A:

You, you, you, you, you.

Speaker A:

You drink any deadly thing, it'll not harm you.

Speaker A:

You, you take up a serpent, it won't hurt you.

Speaker A:

You, in my name lay hands on the sick and nail recover you.

Speaker A:

You.

Speaker A:

Oh God, I just don't understand.

Speaker A:

How come you healed JB and you healed JR and you healed Billy Joe.

Speaker A:

And you didn't hear me.

Speaker A:

God did the same thing for JB Willie B.

Speaker A:

And anybody else that he did for you.

Speaker A:

It wasn't God doing or not doing.

Speaker A:

What?

Speaker A:

Just sit there a minute.

Speaker A:

I'm not done yet.

Speaker A:

I'm going to show you.

Speaker A:

Back up.

Speaker A:

Hang on a minute.

Speaker A:

Do you remember the scripture in the Book of James that says you have not because you ask not.

Speaker A:

But now, what's the second part of that?

Speaker A:

You ask and receive not.

Speaker A:

Now notice he did not say you asked.

Speaker A:

But I didn't do it.

Speaker A:

No, he's already done it.

Speaker A:

The law has already been put into your hands.

Speaker A:

His divine power, his divine blood, his divine name, his divine everything has been given to you.

Speaker A:

I'm telling you, your deliverance from sin, sickness, demons and fear is closer to you than your very breath you're breathing in your lungs right now.

Speaker A:

He didn't say you ask and I didn't do it.

Speaker A:

Because you asked amiss.

Speaker A:

He said you ask and received not.

Speaker A:

There's a difference.

Speaker A:

We've blamed God with our lack of receiving.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

I mean.

Speaker A:

I mean, a lot of.

Speaker A:

There's a lot of you folks in here undoubtedly work for the United States government some form or another.

Speaker A:

And there ain't nobody in the whole green earth got more paper than the US government.

Speaker A:

Dear Lord.

Speaker A:

They don't do nothing in one or two copies.

Speaker A:

If the government owes you $20, they'll spend $200 worth of paper to get you the $20.

Speaker A:

We know that, do we not?

Speaker A:

When you don't fill the paper outright.

Speaker A:

This government is.

Speaker A:

Passed every kind of a law you can think of that it is no respecter of persons.

Speaker A:

I mean creed, culture, hair color, nothing.

Speaker A:

And you come in there and get your 20.

Speaker A:

And I come in there, I can't get mine.

Speaker A:

I fill this thing out nine times I've been up here and back and they keep sending me home.

Speaker A:

What's the matter?

Speaker A:

I ain't filling the paper out right?

Speaker A:

It isn't cause they don't want me to have my $20.

Speaker A:

Same thing's true at the bank.

Speaker A:

You put money in the bank.

Speaker A:

It's your money, isn't it?

Speaker A:

Not the bank's money.

Speaker A:

They know it's not their money.

Speaker A:

But they have been given the responsibility of keeping that money secure.

Speaker A:

They're not letting anybody have that money, even you, if you don't fill out the paper right.

Speaker A:

You ask, receive.

Speaker A:

Not because you asked amiss.

Speaker A:

Wasn't because they didn't want you to have It.

Speaker A:

But you come in the bank and you kicking the teller's kid.

Speaker A:

I want my money.

Speaker A:

I want my money.

Speaker A:

I put my money in this bank and I want nobody to give me my money.

Speaker A:

And I want it and fall down on the floor and cry.

Speaker A:

You could fast for about a week and go back down there and.

Speaker A:

Whoa, you can't walk, I think, for a week.

Speaker A:

Will you give me my money?

Speaker A:

Now, what does fasting have to do with it?

Speaker A:

Nothing.

Speaker A:

Well, I'll tell you, fasting has no impression on God at all.

Speaker A:

I don't care how ugly you get where you look.

Speaker A:

No, doesn't impress him.

Speaker A:

Now, fasting, you use fasting to put your flesh in line.

Speaker A:

That moves you over to where you come to a place in the Word where you're not asking amiss.

Speaker A:

Because you get that flesh put in line and you begin to hear from the Spirit of God and he starts telling you what the correction needs to be.

Speaker A:

You move right on in and receive.

Speaker A:

Just like JR And Billy Joe and all the rest of them.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Hallelujah.

Speaker A:

See, it wasn't God holding back.

Speaker A:

It was not God holding back.

Speaker A:

He's not holding back.

Speaker A:

He's the great giver.

Speaker A:

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son.

Speaker A:

I'm telling you, if he wasn't that way, who would have ever gotten healed in Jesus ministry?

Speaker A:

Who out there was right?

Speaker A:

In a whole multitude?

Speaker A:

How many real, good, righteous people that really deserve to be healed by the Son of God?

Speaker A:

Not one.

Speaker A:

He just healed them all.

Speaker A:

I'll tell you, he's something.

Speaker A:

He is something man.

Speaker A:

And he's something now.

Speaker A:

Glory now in Nazareth.

Speaker A:

He could there do no mighty work.

Speaker A:

Didn't say he wouldn't.

Speaker A:

Said he could there do no mighty work.

Speaker A:

Why?

Speaker A:

Because of their unbelief.

Speaker A:

He couldn't get them to receive it.

Speaker A:

They got to arguing with what he preached.

Speaker A:

He preached there.

Speaker A:

The spirit of the Lord is upon me.

Speaker A:

He has anointed me and so forth.

Speaker A:

Preached that sermon to him.

Speaker A:

Closed the book, said, today this scripture is fulfilled in your ears.

Speaker A:

And they said, well, we know you.

Speaker A:

You marrying Joseph's little boy.

Speaker A:

Since when did a carpenter decide to come here and tell us what we could have?

Speaker A:

I tell you what you did.

Speaker A:

Why don't you do some miracle then?

Speaker A:

We believe you're the anointed of God.

Speaker A:

How are you going to do that?

Speaker A:

So why didn't he just do it?

Speaker A:

He didn't come here to prove anything.

Speaker A:

He came here to serve.

Speaker A:

He didn't come to prove he was the Son of God.

Speaker A:

He came here as a man anointed.

Speaker A:

He went to the cross as the spotless son of the living God.

Speaker A:

But he ministered as a prophet anointed in the Holy Ghost.

Speaker A:

And he did whatever he heard his father say do.

Speaker A:

And he said whatever he heard his father say to say.

Speaker A:

And he did what the Word said, and he said what the Word said.

Speaker A:

And he just continually walked in his covenant with his Father.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Why, how could a man walk so fearlessly?

Speaker A:

How could a man just walk along the streets with absolutely no fear?

Speaker A:

Particularly when they came to him and said, lazarus has died.

Speaker A:

Now, we know he didn't do anything but what he heard his father say.

Speaker A:

Do it.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Well, he must have heard his father say, four days from now, you go to that tomb.

Speaker A:

Lazarus is going to come from the dead.

Speaker A:

Oh.

Speaker A:

Oh, God.

Speaker A:

Oh, Lord, help me.

Speaker A:

Oh, I hope I have faith enough to do this in four days.

Speaker A:

He got to think about it.

Speaker A:

Oh, and by, you know, by Wednesday night, he's like this.

Speaker A:

The richest, most influential funeral in the last 50 years.

Speaker A:

And I got a raising from the dead.

Speaker A:

Qualified.

Speaker A:

I only went to two years of school.

Speaker A:

Lord, you'll just have to get you someone else.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

You don't even stop to think like that about Jesus.

Speaker A:

Now you stop thinking like that about yourself.

Speaker A:

Well, oh, God, what's going to happen?

Speaker A:

Please don't make me shout it loud.

Speaker A:

I mean, Lord, I can just see the parking lot out there.

Speaker A:

The best donkeys in this country are going to be parked up there.

Speaker A:

Every Pharisee that is a Pharisee is going to be here.

Speaker A:

God, if this fellow don't come up out of that tomb, two and a half years of ministry down the drain.

Speaker A:

They'll crucify me for this.

Speaker A:

You don't see Jesus like that.

Speaker A:

You don't ever see him acting like that.

Speaker A:

He even needed any faith.

Speaker A:

That's the way real faith acts.

Speaker A:

Faith don't have to work up faith.

Speaker A:

Faith just knows.

Speaker A:

Faith is faith.

Speaker A:

And faith is.

Speaker A:

Faith is faith.

Speaker A:

And why?

Speaker A:

Because faith worketh by love.

Speaker A:

Now listen.

Speaker A:

Perfected love casteth out fear.

Speaker A:

It doesn't control it.

Speaker A:

It doesn't put it down.

Speaker A:

It casts it out.

Speaker A:

We getting there.

Speaker A:

We are getting there.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Hallelujah.

Speaker A:

What do you see Jesus do well when he appoints, he anoints.

Speaker A:

And he loves me, and I love him.

Speaker A:

And after all, if you've seen me, you've seen my father.

Speaker A:

And if you've seen my father, you've seen me.

Speaker A:

What's Raising somebody from the dead.

Speaker A:

Nothing.

Speaker A:

Do you think I could ever think like that?

Speaker A:

In time?

Speaker A:

Yeah, but you never will unless you begin to walk in the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus.

Speaker A:

Quit trying to have faith.

Speaker A:

Quit trying to have love.

Speaker A:

Quit trying to have victory.

Speaker A:

Because have love, you have faith.

Speaker A:

It was shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Ghost.

Speaker A:

Whosoever confesses that Jesus is Lord God dwelleth in him and he in God.

Speaker A:

And God is love.

Speaker A:

And there is no fear in love.

Speaker A:

So the fountain is filling up and the fountain is filling up and the fountain is filling up and it comes up to a place.

Speaker A:

Now I told you Jesus gave us law here.

Speaker A:

He gave us the law of seed, plant and harvest.

Speaker A:

He gave us the protection of that law by letting us know that the law of sin and death would come try to steal the word out of us and persecute us to stop the law of seed, plant and harvest from producing a hundredfold or better.

Speaker A:

And then he gave us this.

Speaker A:

He said, whatever you deposit in your heart is what will come out when it gets in there in abundance.

Speaker A:

Remember him saying that out of the good treasure of a good man's heart, good things come to pass?

Speaker A:

He said, notice he's talking about things that come to pass so it must be something that hadn't happened yet, right?

Speaker A:

And he said out of the evil treasure of an evil man's heart.

Speaker A:

Now he wasn't talking about a serial killer and a bank robber and all of that.

Speaker A:

Of course that would be true.

Speaker A:

There ain't nothing else there in him.

Speaker A:

He was talking about the believer that's referred to in the book of Hebrews that a heart of unbelief is an evil heart.

Speaker A:

Even though you're born again, but you're full of fear and unbelief, your heart's not right with God.

Speaker A:

Why?

Speaker A:

Because God didn't give you fear and unbelief.

Speaker A:

2nd Timothy 2 what7 Stir up the gift of God within you.

Speaker A:

For he has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Speaker A:

So a fear filled mind is not a sound mind, is it?

Speaker A:

So now you see the wickedness of it than the evil of it.

Speaker A:

God doesn't want your mind unsound.

Speaker A:

If you're spending all your time thinking and worrying about all this bad stuff that's going to happen to you and all this, that and other then your mind is thinking wicked thoughts.

Speaker A:

Now the word wicked means twisted from the same word.

Speaker A:

We get the word wic, we get wicker.

Speaker A:

So A twisted thought would be someone who has access to the thoughts of God by the word of God.

Speaker A:

But you're thinking in an opposite direction.

Speaker A:

That is a twisted or wicked thought.

Speaker A:

What has happened?

Speaker A:

You've stepped off of the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus and you've moved back over on the law of sin and death.

Speaker A:

Even though you're free from it, you've become subject to it again.

Speaker A:

Now, he gave us that law.

Speaker A:

Now listen to this.

Speaker A:

He said, out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

Speaker A:

Now, then he said, by your words are you justified or made righteous.

Speaker A:

By your words words are you condemned.

Speaker A:

And he said, and you will stand judgment for every idle, inoperative word that comes out of your mouth.

Speaker A:

It scared me to death.

Speaker A:

Thrilled me to death.

Speaker A:

I'm afraid to go.

Speaker A:

I'm afraid not.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker A:

Well, we know how it is.

Speaker A:

You know, we'll be there in the morning if a train don't hit us.

Speaker A:

You ain't got no business talking like that.

Speaker A:

The words that he's speaking of are those that are in your heart in abundance.

Speaker A:

Now, if you're going to let.

Speaker A:

If you're going to let the news media program your heart and mind in the first place, you're way behind.

Speaker A:

They don't know nothing until after it happens.

Speaker A:

And the spirit of God has been come to show us things to come.

Speaker A:

Read the back of the book.

Speaker A:

Bless God.

Speaker A:

We win.

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

You with me so far?

Speaker A:

I've been just kind of cadillacing along here and taking you from one step to the other.

Speaker A:

Let's read a few more scriptures here and then we'll go a little bit different direction here for a few moments.

Speaker A:

Let's go.

Speaker A:

Old covenant in the book of Joshua.

Speaker A:

Look up Joshua, chapter one, verse one.

Speaker A:

Now, after the death of Moses, the servant of the Lord, it came to pass that the Lord spoke unto Joshua, the son of nun, Moses minister.

Speaker A:

Now, Joshua had worked right beside Moses for a long time.

Speaker A:

Anointing on Moses came then on Joshua.

Speaker A:

Now God is speaking to Joshua concerning his calling, concerning the same anointing that was on Moses is now on Joshua.

Speaker A:

And God is talking to him about that anointing.

Speaker A:

And you can see how serious this is.

Speaker A:

I mean, here's a man that's having.

Speaker A:

How would you like to follow Moses?

Speaker A:

You know that at that moment, here is a serious opportunity to be afraid.

Speaker A:

I don't care what you've seen.

Speaker A:

You've been seeing it from second in command.

Speaker A:

You've been seeing it not even second in command for a long Time.

Speaker A:

You were just the.

Speaker A:

You were just the gopher.

Speaker A:

You know, you just go for this and go for that.

Speaker A:

And you just came right on up through the ranks.

Speaker A:

And Moses laid his hands on you, and you were anointed to do what you did.

Speaker A:

And Moses was up on the mountain with God for 40 days.

Speaker A:

And Joshua sat at mid mountain and didn't move and didn't open his mouth except to pray.

Speaker A:

He did or said nothing.

Speaker A:

40 days.

Speaker A:

That takes a lot of discipline, brother.

Speaker A:

This man very, very serious in his calling.

Speaker A:

But I don't care if you are.

Speaker A:

He has.

Speaker A:

He's seen a lot of stuff for the last 40 years.

Speaker A:

And so now he is going to have to step in and take up where Moses left off.

Speaker A:

He's going to have to walk in front of these people that have followed this man all these years.

Speaker A:

What else is he going to have to do?

Speaker A:

He knows he's the one that's going to have to cross the Jordan.

Speaker A:

He's the one that has going to have to go over there.

Speaker A:

He's been over there, but it was a long time ago.

Speaker A:

He has stood and walked in faith all these years, but I'm telling you what, all of a sudden he knows this day's coming.

Speaker A:

But now it's here.

Speaker A:

It is here.

Speaker A:

And listen to how God begins to minister to him.

Speaker A:

Moses, my servant is dead.

Speaker A:

Now therefore, arise.

Speaker A:

Go over this Jordan, you and all this people, unto the land which I do give to thee, even to the children of Israel, and every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you as I said unto Moses.

Speaker A:

Now God is confirming some things to him.

Speaker A:

He said.

Speaker A:

I said this to Moses, but now I'm saying it to you.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Now come down here and look at this fifth verse.

Speaker A:

There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of your life.

Speaker A:

As I was with Moses, so shall I be with you.

Speaker A:

As I was with Moses, so shall I be with you.

Speaker A:

All right, now you got that?

Speaker A:

That.

Speaker A:

That's strong stuff right there.

Speaker A:

So you may need to underline that.

Speaker A:

Put little marks, run it, whatever you do.

Speaker A:

Now look at this sixth verse.

Speaker A:

Be strong and of good courage.

Speaker A:

Well, yeah, God, that's easy for you to say, but I got to go over there and you notice he didn't suggest that, did he?

Speaker A:

Well, be strong as you can.

Speaker A:

I understand.

Speaker A:

Little man, you're going to have a lot of trouble here and do the best you can.

Speaker A:

I understand that.

Speaker A:

I mean, I've been watching them for the last 40 years too.

Speaker A:

I know what they're like.

Speaker A:

Verse 7 only.

Speaker A:

Be thou strong and very courageous that you may observe to do according to all the law, according to all the word of God, which Moses, my servant, commanded thee.

Speaker A:

Turn not from it to the right hand, nor to the left, that you may prosper or deal wisely.

Speaker A:

Go to the highest place everywhere you go.

Speaker A:

This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you will meditate therein day and night.

Speaker A:

That thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein.

Speaker A:

And then you will make your way prosperous.

Speaker A:

Now, let me say something to you here.

Speaker A:

He just gave you an element.

Speaker A:

The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.

Speaker A:

This don't just work for Joshua, because God's word doesn't just work for Joshua.

Speaker A:

Besides that, we serve the most High God not as servants, but as his children.

Speaker A:

And we are in Christ Jesus, joint heirs.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

And our covenant is not in the covenant animals, but in the blood of Jesus.

Speaker A:

I mean, that takes this thing to another level.

Speaker A:

But still, that's a spiritual law.

Speaker A:

That you meditate in the word of God day and night.

Speaker A:

And you will observe, you will see into it.

Speaker A:

You will observe how to do all that's written therein.

Speaker A:

Now he said to him, be strong and very courageous.

Speaker A:

He could have said, now you need to fast every Tuesday and Thursday.

Speaker A:

And you need to do this and you need to do that.

Speaker A:

He could have made a list four or five pages long.

Speaker A:

And really all he had to do is go back over there to Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, numbers and Deuteronomy.

Speaker A:

There.

Speaker A:

All the list is.

Speaker A:

That's what he was telling him to meditate in, day and night.

Speaker A:

The Torah, that's where all the lists are of the fasting is in there.

Speaker A:

All the conduct is in there.

Speaker A:

All the things you need to do is already in there.

Speaker A:

God didn't need to tell him that.

Speaker A:

He needed to get him on target by saying, meditate in the word day and night.

Speaker A:

Now he gave us an element of that law.

Speaker A:

You remember a law.

Speaker A:

Work works all the time.

Speaker A:

It's put to work.

Speaker A:

A law doesn't favor anybody.

Speaker A:

It just favors whomever puts the thing to work.

Speaker A:

If you're qualified to work it, it'll work.

Speaker A:

Now, we've looked at a part of the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.

Speaker A:

Meditate in my law day and night.

Speaker A:

Don't go to the right or to the left from it.

Speaker A:

Don't let anything else come out your mouth.

Speaker A:

And you will observe how to do all that's written therein.

Speaker A:

And then what?

Speaker A:

And then you will prosper in everything you do.

Speaker A:

And the Hebrew word there really is you will deal wisely in everything you do.

Speaker A:

You deal wisely, you're going to win.
