The Grateful Dead welcome spring with six shows in two of the most celebrated venues the East Coast has to offer: the Hampton Coliseum and the Philadelphia Spectrum. With plenty of energy and a slew of bust-outs, the tour was one to remember, containing the legendary Box of Rain in Hampton. But a closer look reveals why this may not have been either the show or the song of the tour. Be sure to check out all six shows!

Now, we have reached Drums, and by God, we will embrace the power and glory within. We generate energy by pounding our feet on solid ground, knowing that the vibrations reach deep beneath the earth's surface, feeding our overlords with the constant rhythm of life. We feel them stirring. We sense their restlessness, writhing through a forced hibernation that lasted a year. They have taken on the shape of the Hampton Coliseum itself.
