I'm going to read that again.

It is amazing to me how many born again spirit filled Christians do not have any conception or any vision or any spiritual concept of the fact that the Lord's on their side.

I think there's just been too many years.

I don't think I know because the Lord told me so.

There's just been too many years that it's been preached from too many different angles.

That the Lord is your problem, that he's the one that's going to hurt you.

He's the one that's going to get you.

Somebody, somebody wrote a stupid song not too long ago.

I heard the thing over the radio one time.

If I could have got my hand on a tape, I'd have burned it.

The name of the thing was God's going to get you for that.

I want to tell you something, folks.

God not going to get you for anything.

He's not the getter.

I'll tell you what, if God was going to get you, we'd already been got.

And if.

What was the use of Jesus going to the cross if God is going to get you for something?

I mean, you've already got before he went, isn't that right?

So we need to, we need to learn better than that.

Now before we get through with this series of meetings, if you will listen to the spirit of God and listen to the word of God and what the, what the spirit of the Lord is saying to us.

Some things that I'm going to share with you that God's taught me over the last several months.

Many of you may have questions in your mind.

Why, when I'm walking by faith as I am, why is it that so much of the time it takes such a long, harassing, haranguing amount of time to cause anything to be manifested and come to pass?

When I know the power of God is so much greater than the power of Satan.

Now anybody that's ever walked by faith has had that question in their mind more than once, guarantee you.

Well, the answer to it is one statement.

Answer.

There is one answer to it.

But the, the facets of it, the ins and the outs of it are many because every human being is different.

The word of God is always the same, but the people are different.

God said, my people perish for a lack of knowledge.

Now that's the reason somebody said, why did so and so die when they were a believer?

Lack of knowledge.

Knowledge of what?

Knowledge of the promises of God.

See, you find in second Peter that it said, he hath given us what by his divine power, all things which pertain to life and godliness through exceeding great and precious promises that by these you might be partakers of his divine power and escape the corruption that is in the world through lust.

So if you don't escape that corruption, if you're not getting away from it, if you're not walking off from it, sickness, sin, sickness, demons, fear, poverty, all, anything is under the curse of the law.

All of that is corruption.

It is the corruption of the laws of God that God put into motion when he put Adam in charge of this planet.

And if you're not escaping that corruption, it's not cause God doesn't want you to escape it if he didn't want you to escape it, like I said while ago, and they would have sent Jesus.

Somebody said, well, maybe you learned something in there.

What you need to learn, you're not learning.

You don't need to learn more.

Corruption, you know enough of that.

It's the exceeding great and precious promises of God.

By these you might be partakers of the divine nature and escape the corruption.

I mean, beat it.

Win in the game of life.

Hallelujah.

Oh, live and not die.

Glory to God.

Oh yeah.

You know it's there and I know it's there.

We know the victory's in Jesus.

We know it's there.

I mean there's just something down on the inside.

Every born again believer that just, I mean there's just some kind of a little clock down in there that just constantly tells you the Glory to God.

There's victory in this.

There's victory in this.

There's winning in this.

We can win in this.

We don't have to wait till we get to heaven.

Glory to God.

The gospel is the power of God and your head saying, yeah, but why don't it work?

Why don't it work?

Well, you ought to have your spirit saying, it does work.

It does work.

If you ever sighed in with your old mind when it's saying, why doesn't it work?

It won't work.

But if we'll listen to what the spirit of the Lord has to say, we'll be able to answer the majority of these questions between now and Saturday night.

I've had more questions answered in my own life and in my own ministry in the last 90 days, had in the previous 41 years of my life all put together.

And I'm going to.

I'm going to just do my utmost to share it with you just exactly the way the Lord shared it with me.

I'll tell you something, folks.

The last days are here.

If you're waiting on the last days, you know what?

You backing up because they're here.

The last days have come.

The knowledge of God is being released in the earth by the spirit of the living God.

The Bible very simply says there's nothing hid but what will be revealed.

Jesus himself said that in the fourth chapter of the Gospel of Mark.

And the Bible said, I would, brethren, that you be not ignorant.

Hallelujah.

Well, it's time to find out and to know.

It's time to know how to walk in these last days.

And I'll tell you something.

If you will listen to God's word and get on his word in these last days, you can be a greater testimony than the early church ever was.

Why, glory to God.

What difference would it have made if somebody would have gone downtown, Jerusalem right on the day of Pentecost and said, we're going to run out of gas.

We're going to run out of gas.

Who would have cared?

What difference does that make?

Yeah, but we won't get to drive our automobiles.

You what?

Are you listening to me?

Jesus said, the gospel shall be preached unto all kingdoms as a witness.

Then the end shall come.

He didn't say it'd be preached just as long as we had gas enough to travel.

He didn't say it'd be preached just as long as prices stayed down like they should.

He didn't say it'd be preached till we run out of coffee.

He said it'd be preached till the end came.

And the end not coming till it gets preached.

And when it gets preached, you can just bet on the end.

Be in there, darling.

And it'll be preached as a witness.

It'll be preached as a witness.

You know what the witness to this last generation is?

The witness to this last generation is not a bunch of cuckoos going up and buying all the blankets and all the kerosene lanterns in town and a bunch of canned goods and moving off out there in a cave somewhere and wait until Jesus return.

That isn't it.

The gospel never has functioned that way.

And I got news for you, it never will.

It functions right in the Heart of things.

It functions at its best right in the midst of adversity, right in the midst of the impossibilities that Satan has brought to play and to pass in this planet, in this earth, against mankind's incomprehension and spiritual stupidity.

And glory be to God.

I mean man.

The witness in these last days will be men that go when there's no way to go.

And.

And men that come when there ought not be any way to get here.

Hallelujah.

And men that have their table full when there's no way to get your table full.

And men that are dressed when there's no way to get anything to wear.

And men that'll say, my God meets my needs according to his riches and glory.

And that's where your witness is going to be, right there, brother.

It's happening today.

It's happening right today.

There are some young people today, young married men and women that hadn't been married five years just now starting a family that are already out of debt and living above debt and operating, dressing well, driving well, going to whatever meetings they want to go to.

And their mom and daddy don't understand it and are afraid to talk to them about it because they're afraid they might have to.

They might occasionally say, now, sonny boy, you better be careful.

Don't go kooky on this faith stuff.

And he'll go home and say to his wife, I don't see how they do it, do you?

They didn't do it.

Jesus did it.

And he'd do it for you the same as them.

But when one of them turns around, gives away his brand new suit, and the other one turns around and gives away his automobile, you better keep your big blab mouth shut.

Because one these days you'll be driving his limousine for him.

That's right.

That's right.

You laugh at them while they're walking, you're gonna work for them before it's over.

Cause the uncompromised giver will.

Will be the one that walks in an uncompromised place with God.

That's just the name of the game, man.

You might as well get with the program.

Amen.

The Lord is on my side.

I will not fear.

Now, there's something there.

I want to touch on it right now.

We'll deal with it directly as we go into these meetings.

Further and further and further, we'll come to a place where we'll have to deal with it in a more direct manner than I'm going to right now.

But I do want to mention it right here.

You notice he said, the Lord is on my side.

I will.

That's the strongest statement in the English language.

Will.

I will.

I will.

There's no possible way with the English language to say that any stronger than that.

In other words, I have made the decision.

I use my will in this, and this is the way it will be in none other with me.

I will not fear.

So we can see by this.

Fear does not have the power nor the right to usurp authority over a human being that's made the decision to do without it because God's on his side.

Can you see that?

He said, the Lord's on my side.

I will not fear the 43rd chapter of Isaiah, that great that I tell you one of the greatest passages in the Bible where the Lord said, fear not, for I have redeemed thee.

Fear not.

I am with thee.

I have called thee by thy name.

See what he's saying?

Fear not.

Fear not.

Now you notice he didn't say, now you pray and I'll keep you from being afraid.

He didn't say, you better hope you don't get afraid.

He didn't say, you ought not fear.

He said, don't do it.

If God said, fear not, that means you can fear not.

I say, I don't see how.

Well, that's another subject.

See, if a fellow come up to me and said, drive my Cadillacs down, well, that means that I can drive it to town.

Now, if I don't know how to drive is one thing.

That doesn't mean I can't learn.

In the first place, I have his permission to drive it to town.

And in the second place, that means that it's possible for me to drive it to town.

If any other human being drove it, I can drive it too.

All as a matter of learning.

Now, if I don't have the wherewithal to do it, I mean, one reason or other, starting out with brain first, then that's another.

That's another situation, see?

But if he says you can, you can.

Are you listening to me?

Anytime you find something in the word of God, if.

If God's word says jump over a building, that means that there's the power of God available to you to get you over the thing.

So now, the Bible said that Abraham staggered not at the promises of God.

If the Bible said he was the father of many nations, he didn't stagger at that and say, yeah, but I know I'm not.

He just said, yes, I am.

That's What I am.

Everybody else thought he is nuts, but you know, he's still the father of many nations.

Now if the Bible says you can fear not, then you can fear not.

If the Bible says fear not, for I have redeemed thee, then because I am redeemed means that I can fear not.

Now that puts me in a position of finding out how to fear not.

That puts me in a position of finding out why fear not.

But it does not give me the right to ask God, can I really fear not?

If he said fear not, then I can fear not.

So that sets me off on course.

Praise God, I am redeemed.

Consequently, I have the ability, I have God's permission to fear not.

So I'm going to fear not one way or the other.

In the name of Jesus, I'm going to operate without fear.

Now you listen to me very carefully.

I'm going to share a Bible truth with you right now.

If you'll pay careful attention to this.

It's something that'll give you an insight into the Bible.

In fact, it'll take away a great amount of religious wasted time wondering why this is this way or why that's that way.

And if you remember this and apply it, pray about it, meditate on it, think about it, then you'll get some insight into the way the Bible is written.

You get some insight into why God does, says, thinks and acts the way he does, why Satan does, thinks and acts the way he does, and why men are thinking, acting and doing the things that they're doing.

Jesus himself said that Satan has no truth in him.

There's no truth in him.

Now, in order to have ever come up with any one single thing that did not exist before, then there would have to be some truth in him.

If he came up with one single thing that had never existed before, that thing in itself would be a truth.

It would be an original.

Isn't that right?

It would be a first.

It wouldn't be a counterfeit, it'd be an original.

Well, I'll tell you something.

He never originated anything.

Somebody said he originated sin.

No, he didn't.

Perverted righteousness.

Now, I want to tell you about what the Lord spoke to me a few Sundays ago.

We were in church.

I was just sitting there in a congregation and the Lord spoke to me and he said, I'm going to teach you concerning the law of reciprocals.

Well, I'd use the word reciprocal, but I'd only used it in special application.

I never really gave it any idea of what really serious Thought about what the thing meant.

I used it in aviation, but that's the only place I'd ever used it.

And I knew what the application of it was there.

But I thought, well, first thing I better do is find out what that means.

So I got my dictionary down to see what the word reciprocal means.

The word reciprocal means things that correspond, yet have been reversed or inverted.

Now, let me give you the illustration of this.

North and south correspond to one another because they are both directions of the compass.

Isn't that true if you were just saying directions of the compass?

Well, north, south, east and west, it all correspond to one another.

But that's the length and the breadth of their corresponding with one another.

South is the reciprocal of north.

They correspond, but one of them is reversed or inverted.

On the other end of north is always south.

It is always exactly on the other end of it.

And I don't care how long you go that way, you turn around, you're going north.

I don't care how far south you go, you turn around, you're going north.

That right.

It's always immediately on the other end of is a reciprocal.

Now, God said to me that Sunday afternoon, he said, there is a spiritual Bible law of reciprocals.

Well, that never even occurred to me, but yet on the other hand, it did.

I remember making this statement a time or two.

I said, well, you know, if you want to know what God's doing, just look at what the devil's doing.

Turn it exactly opposite around.

You'll find out how God operates.

But I didn't realize right then just how exactly right I was.

I was just going by what I had observed.

You see, the world says, you know, seeing is believing, but the Bible teaches you that believing is seeing.

See, you can see by believing before you can ever see with your eyes.

If you don't see it before you see it, you'll never see it.

And those of you that don't see it didn't see that.

You know, the world says, well, if you can just get enough, you'll be rich.

And the Bible says, give and it'll be given unto you.

See, I knew.

I knew that's right.

But.

But I had.

I picked it up just from observation.

I didn't know that it was an absolute.

I didn't know it was a Bible truth.

But now let me show you what the Lord showed me that afternoon after I got home, Church started praying about this.

Satan did not bring one single new thing into this earth.

Not one single solitary new thing.

Not one new thing.

He Is not a God.

He is not a creator.

He is not in the God class.

He.

He is not in the creative class.

He is an angel.

He is a fallen angel.

He is not in God's class.

Are you listening to me?

He.

Not even in human being class.

That's really such a pity for human beings to be subordinate to him.

Well, since there is no truth in him.

He had been totally stripped of all of his wisdom, all of his anointing before Adam was ever created.

He was called the anointed Cherub.

But now listen to what he said.

I'm believing most of you realize by now, at least enough spiritual law to understand that words cause things to come to pass.

That's a Bible law.

God created the heaven and the earth with words.

Did you ever notice what Satan did?

See, he tried to put laws, the laws of God in operation against God and for himself.

The thing that got him in trouble to start with was he said something.

What did he say?

I will be like the most high God.

Now, he expected that to come to pass.

See, he's using the laws of the world of the Spirit.

God is the world of the Spirit.

God created the world of the Spirit.

God set those laws into motion.

The Bible says that God's word is law.

If God said it, it constitutes spiritual law.

And it won't work any other way.

But it will work that way, both in the negative and in the affirmative.

It will work.

See, you can have what you say, life or death.

God said, I call you to record this day before heaven and earth that I place before you life, death, blessing and cursing.

Therefore, you choose life.

You can go either way.

See, the laws of God will work.

They'll work for you.

They'll work against you.

The electricity that cooks your toast and warms your toes will kill you deader than a doorknob if it's misused.

Right, it can be misused, you see, and used against you the same as for you.

All right, the laws of God are that way.

Now, what Satan did, he tried to use a law of God to exalt himself above God and said, I will be like the most High.

God will establish my throne above the stars.

But God executed a higher law and said, no, you won't.

And that ended that right there.

He's done through.

Send his saddle to barn.

It's all over for him.

He stripped.

He lost his wisdom, lost his anointing.

He had conned approximately a third of the angelic host of God into following him in that statement and putting themselves in agreement with him in that.

And so consequently they bound to him and had to stay with him.

But now they're left without a place to dwell, no place to operate, no place to go, no place to do.

God puts a man named Adam in authority over this planet, gives him absolute final word, final authority, final command, final overseeing authority over everything that swims, crawls, walks, everything that's even named.

The name comes across his lips first.

Now there is the very authority.

There is the very likeness that Satan was trying to get in the first place.

Now he sees it invested in this fellow over there.

Now, if he can go over there and get that, then he can once again launch this attack.

I will be like the most high God.

So he goes after him.

He is the deceiver.

He doesn't have any power.

Do you hear what I said?

If he had any power, he wouldn't have to deceive anybody.

He'd just knock you in the head, and that would be all of that.

So he goes to Adam, he deceives his wife.

He did not deceive Adam.

But by not using his authority, he bowed his knee to him, and Satan wound up once again with the authority to use the laws of God in this earth.

He had none of his own.

So now, what is the first thing that Adam said?

What is the first word he said to God?

I was afraid.

Now you just stop and think about it a little bit.

Do you remember what the.

Do you remember what the definition to reciprocal is Corresponding?

Yet one of them has been reversed or inverted.

What was faith is now fear.

Huh?

Satan didn't invent fear.

That's the reason that fear and faith operate just almost exactly alike to produce exactly the opposite results of one another.

What was love is now hate.

What was prosperity is now poverty.

What was peace is now turmoil, discouragement, despondency, oppression.

You see?

What was health, sickness.

The law of reciprocal.

Can you see that?

It's there.

It's there.

Now, what does this mean to the believer?

Well, I'll share this little tidbit with you.

I mean, this thrilled me.

So I got shouting happy in my back bedroom when the Lord showed me this Sunday afternoon a few months ago.

What happens in the light of the fact that God said in his word, my people perish for a lack of knowledge, then it's bound to be a lack of knowledge that causes his people to perish.

It wasn't cause he's trying to kill them.

It wasn't cause he's trying to teach them something.

It wasn't cause he didn't want them to live.

It wasn't cause of this, it wasn't cause of that.

If God said it was a lack of knowledge, and that's what it was.

God also said my people perish for a lack of vision.

Lack of vision of what?

The knowledge.

Lack of insight.

You see?

Spiritual insight.

The Bible says that we've been given the same faith that God operates with.

Well, he created the heavens and the earth with it.

I doubt if there's anybody in here could create a bb.

Well, you could, but you don't know how.

See, the Bible also said he created the heavens and the earth through wisdom and understanding.

He knows how to use that faith.

And you and I are just barely scratching around, finding out that we have little of it, you know?

All right, let's go over to Second Peter.

Let's read that scripture I quoted you a while ago.

I want you to get this planted into your consciousness because I want you to see where the law of reciprocal fits into this, and I want you to see how you can use it.

I'm going to show you something right now that you can chase Satan right out of your own family.

You can chase him out of your backyard.

You can chase him out of your body.

You can chase him out of your household.

You can.

You can chase him out of your money, affairs and anything.

And at the time you do it, not even know what the promise of God is that covers it.

Do you know you can do that?

Yeah, you can do it.

If you know the law of reciprocals.

If you know what this spiritual law is and how it operates, you can do it.

Now you're going to be responsible for finding out what the promise of God is when you're delivered in that area.

You can't just lay back on this, you know, kind of on your spiritual laurels and say, well, I know that.

I don't need to know anything else.

That's what you think.

Second Peter, chapter one, verse two.

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, according as his divine power has given unto us all things.

All things.

All things.

All things.

A L L All.

All things.

All things.

All things.

All things.

All things.

Not 99, 9, 10% of things.

All things that pertain unto life and godliness through.

Through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue, whereby are given unto us exceeding and precious promises.

Now, if he's given us all things and he's done it by the exceeding precious promises that literally Means that there is one or more promises of God that covers every single thing that pertains to life and godliness.

Isn't that right?

Everything that pertains to life has been covered by the promises of God in the New Testament.

Not one thing been left out of it.

I don't know about you, but that right there thrills me.

Glory to God.

Somebody usually comes and said, brother Copeland, I sure need an answer.

Well, look in that book you got in your lap.

It's in there.

It's in there.

Praise the Lord.

Yeah, but God maybe don't want me to know it.

Well, then what are you asking me?

Have to get over that before we can get anywhere.

See that by these.

What?

These promises, that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

All right, now, those exceeding great and precious promises, what does the Bible say about them?

Second Corinthians, chapter 7, verse 1.

Having therefore dearly beloved, these precious promises, let us cleanse ourselves of all filthiness, both the spirit and the flesh.

Boy, that's some powerful promises.

Praise God, he said, having these promises, in other words, these promises, you can use them to cleanse you.

Praise the Lord.

What did Jesus say about it?

You shall know the truth, and the truth will make you free.

Huh.

All right, now I want you to watch the law of reciprocal in operation.

We know.

Now, I didn't say we're guessing or wondering about it.

We know.

Some of you look at me like a dog at a new pan.

Turn over to First Corinthians so you will know.

I don't know whether I want to listen to that or not.

First Corinthians, chapter 10, verse 13.

There hath no temptation.

The word temptation.

There is translation of word that means tests or trials.

Temptation, testings or trials.

There's no trial taken you, but such as is common to man.

But God is faithful.

God is faithful.

God is faithful who will not suffer you to be tested above that ye are able, but will with the temptation, also make a way of escape that you may be able to bear it.

And somebody said, see there, he don't want me out of it.

He wants me just to bear it.

Well, if you're just going to bear it, that's no escape.

If you go back and get your Greek concordance and find out what he actually said there.

He said, there's no test that's going to come on you that is so big that you can't take the weapons of God and overcome It.

Because God will make the way for you to get out of it.

Every time.

Every time God has a way out.

Every time God has a way out.

Every time God has a way out.

How?

Through the.

The great, exceeding precious promises.

Now, you watch the reciprocal in operation, we know two things.

There's no truth in Satan, huh?

On the other end, everything he says on the other end of every kind of fit he has is the real thing.

See, on the other end, the South's always north.

On the other end of hate, there's always love.

If Satan can come at you with hate, you know God has love.

Are you listening to me now?

That's the law of reciprocal, you see?

You know, if he comes at you with fear, there's faith available to you, brother, in Jesus.

Cause that fear is not the real.

That's not the most powerful.

That's the counterfeit of the real.

Hallelujah.

Hallelujah.

The real will always outspend the phony.

They'll always take the real dollar for the will of phony.

Faith always overcomes fear.

Love always overcomes hate.

Prosperity will always overcome poverty.

If you put it to work.

You can't keep a man in poverty.

If you get him on the word of God and not tell him that he's supposed to be there.

You can't keep him there.

I don't care where he was born, who he was born to, how far out in the sticks he is.

John the Baptist proved that.

Man, go out in the middle of the woods and start preaching.

And everybody in town go out there to see what he's got to say.

And he didn't even have a microphone.

Boy, that ought to prove something to you.

All right, what do we know?

We know there's no truth in Satan.

We know the truth that the law of reciprocal works.

We know that the glory to God.

There is a precious promise in every test, in every temptation and in every trial that will overcome the test, the temptation and trial.

And Satan has had the law laid down to him.

There's not one thing he can bring on.

Not one thing he can bring on you.

Not one thing he can bring on you.

Not one.

One thing he can bring on you.

You can't take the things of God and overcome it.

Hallelujah.

Now, how does that stack up against the teaching, you know?

Well, now, God maybe don't want you out of this test or trial.

He may want you stay in there.

Well, then he ought not have provided a way of escape.

He want me to stay in there.

He ought not done that Looks like he'd been smarter than that, doesn't it?

Oh, look like we're the ones that's dumb for letting Satan sell us that bill of goods.

That's what we get for listening to every Tom, Dick and Harry in the world instead of reading the Bible for ourselves.

Watch television all night long and read the Bible on the way to church.

That's what we get.

Yes.

Now, Satan comes up at you and he says, you got the flu.

You got the flu.

You're not going to get your healing.

Oh, don't put your naked foot on that cold, cold floor.

Your nose will run.

Don't you do it.

Don't you do it.

Don't you do it.

Oh, where do you reckon those kids are?

I bet you one of them's dead now.

Well, I'm exaggerating a little bit, but it only sounds exaggerated after you get it out and say it.

Because as long as it's in your old mind, that's exactly what it sounded like.

Isn't that right?

Ever had somebody call you 3:00 in the morning and you jumped up and said, glory be to God, somebody must have found a diamond they're going to give me.

No, that's not the approach you took.

Oh, are the kids home?

The phone's ringing.

I told you not to let that dang bat have that car.

I told you he'd wreck it.

I tried to tell you and now you're kind of proud.

You prophesied it.

Don't come tell me.

You can't speak of things that are not as though they were.

And you go in, there's a wrong number or the dingbat wrecked the car.

Either way.

Now, right at that second, right at that, I mean, man, you may not have been saved two days.

You don't know any of the promises of God.

All you know is if you believe in your heart Jesus has been raised from the dead and confess him with your mouth as Lord, thou shalt be saved.

That's all you know.

That's all you ever heard.

That's all you know.

You may be in some church, hadn't preached nothing else for 30 years.

You don't know anything else.

You don't know there's anything else in the Bible.

You don't know any other promise.

You don't know what promise covers.

Bent fenders.

You don't know what promise covers.

Phone calls in the middle of the night.

You don't know what promise covers.

The kids, you don't know what promise covers.

The wife.

You don't Know what covers the husband, the money?

You don't know anything.

What, what are you going to do?

Can do you.

Are you just forced to be defeated between now and then?

No.

Glory be to Jesus.

We have three things.

We have the name of Jesus.

We have the law of reciprocals and glory to God.

We have one another.

We can stand in faith with one another.

First thing you ought to do when you get saved, find somebody that does know.

And the first time he tells you that you can't.

God can't and never will.

Grin real big and run off, get away, Find you somebody that'll help you, get you a fanatic.

Well, it isn't, it isn't hard to figure out how to use the name of Jesus and have faith in that name.

But you're going to have to use it.

You just can't stand there and look at it.

I mean, you can lay a, you know, you can lay a biggest cannon in the world up there on the, on the table.

Some fellow come in and rob you blind, you may, you may have a gun on both hips, ding dong.

You don't pull them and shoot them, it ain't gonna do you any good.

The name of Jesus that way.

Spiritual law is that way.

You see, when you got saved, you didn't become a robot.

You became more free than you were before you got saved.

You still, brother, you got the right to go to hell if you want to go.

That's the most serious right there is.

God will protect your right to bust hell wide open if that's what you want to do.

And you can get up from here tonight and go do the stuff that'll get you there yet, right?

On the other hand, you can go to heaven if you want to go.

Huh?

See, you have a right to choose.

And when you have a right to choose, God won't butt in on that right?

Now, this will answer one question for you.

How come God will let somebody die?

He's not letting them die, he's letting them live if they will.

But because he's letting them live if they will.

The reciprocal of that's true.

He by being just and honest, he has to let them die if that's what they're going to choose to do.

He can't butt in on them on either side.

You're free.

A holy unreproachable God has said, when the Son hath made you free, you're free indeed.

You're free to use that name and just jar the guts of hell with it.

Or you can stand there and Let them kill you and go to heaven when you do die.

But it's your choice.

You can do either one.

Now, this is important, this is vital, and it is real.

About the name of Jesus.

You can use the name of Jesus, but let me show you how that law reciprocal works.

I don't care if Satan comes at me, and I don't know anything in the world about my God shall meet my needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Just the fact that I know the law of reciprocal is real.

Just the fact that I know Jesus has defeated him.

Just the fact that I know if Satan comes to me and says, you're broke, they're going to get everything you've got.

They're out there now.

Hear that noise out there?

They're hauling off your chicken coop right now.

They're hauling off everything you have.

I'm going to rub your face in it.

You ought not got tied up that full gospel bunch anyhow.

They're going to call you a nut.

Your whole family knows you're crazy.

Just turn it around on him.

Turn it around on him.

If he says you're going to lose, you say, I win.

See?

You know there's a promise of God that covers it all.

Even if you don't know what the promise is, you know there is one.

And the Holy Ghost knows.

The Holy Ghost knows what it is.

He knows what it is, and he's for you.

The Lord's on my side, I'll not fear.

Now I'll tell you one major thing.

One major reason why God's people don't walk in any more reality and have things work for them any better than they do is because they don't put them to work.

They just don't do it.

Somebody said, well, I just don't understand how that guy could walk right up in front of me and just pull that big old pistol and just stick it up there in my face and say, give me your money.

And God didn't do nothing.

No, you're the one didn't do nothing.

Jesus went to the cross.

God did something.

Jesus was raised from the dead.

God did something.

God sent the Holy Ghost.

God did something.

God gave us his name.

God did something.

God has given us all of his angels.

Hallelujah.

Oh, and they shall be ministers of those that shall be heirs unto salvation.

You're the one didn't do anything.

You're the only one in the bush that didn't do anything.

The Crook did something, the devil did something, God did something, the Holy Ghost did something, the angel did something.

He's standing there with his fist drawn.

And you the only one in the bunch that doesn't do nothing.

You just stand.

And all the time an exceeding great and precious promise covered that situation, boy.

A lady that's a friend of this ministry telling my wife she and her daughter was in a large city up east and some men took over some sort of transportation.

I'll call it a bus.

I don't know whether it's a bus or subway or what, but what it was is a car with people on it.

And they took the thing over, man.

I mean, it's just old Jesse James all over again.

I mean, they're robbing everybody in there, see.

And one of them had her daughter.

And they stand there and the other one had his arm up underneath her neck like that.

And pulling her diamond earrings off, she looked him right square in the eye.

Get ahead of me like this.

He got his arm up on her chin, got her slammed up against the wall.

She said, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whose I am and whom I serve.

You take your hands off of me, brother, I want you to know.

He handed her back her earrings and he stepped back this way.

Same thing happened to the daughter.

I have a friend that's a pastor of a church in Los Angeles, California.

And in fact we were out there a few days ago and some of his family was in there.

I mean, a good friend of mine, I've known him a long time, preached in his church.

Now this is a man at the time that this happened is somewhere in the neighborhood of 60 years old.

I'm not talking about a man that's spiritual novice.

I'm talking about a man that spent his life, man serving God.

And I'm not talking about people being ugly people and not good people.

I'm talking about honest, good, God loving, God worshiping people.

But I'm also talking about laws.

He was walking home from the church one night.

They'd closed service and he's gone.

He doesn't live very far and he's going to walk through the neighborhood just for the exercise.

In fact, Larry here taught Sunday school in this man's church for a long time.

You were out there when this happened, weren't you?

Yeah, he was out there when that.

And he noticed.

Was it three men?

Three, four.

Four men following along behind him.

I mean, they kept getting a little closer and a little closer.

And you know how you can.

You can start Sensing something's wrong.

And he knew something was wrong.

He just knew it inside.

Well, you see, if you get in a habit and practicing listening to the spirit of God, he'd have told him in the first place.

See, God's always in operation.

He never does quit.

It's you and I been so spiritually dense, we didn't hear it.

Well, he started picking this up.

See that?

He's in a bad spot.

He's in the wrong place.

These fellows jumped him.

He tried to run off from them, tried to fight them back the best he could.

And they caught up with him and jumped him and started whipping him.

He ran up on the front porch of this house.

These people had attended the church.

Some banging on the front door.

They came to the door and opened and saw what was happening and just shut the door.

Well, you know, with friends like that, you don't need the devil.

No, they didn't want that bunch in their living room.

And I see they're Christians too.

But I'm going to tell you something, my friend.

If you wait till somebody's got a gun barrel poked up your nose before you ever do anything on the word of God, you got a long wait coming.

If you don't do it.

If you don't do it before that, you won't do it.

When that happens, you will do what you practice.

You will do what you do every day.

You will say what you say every day.

And the junk you say every day won't do you any good.

When some fellows got you face to face with reality, you're going to.

Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

And your old brain will quit you.

It's supposed to.

It's made to.

It'll get out of the way and let the spirit man come to the ascendancy.

Because in the spirit of a man is where the power is.

That's where all of the knowledge is.

That spirit is supernatural.

And it's like God, and God's in there.

If you're born again, that's the reason your mind will just back out of the way and let you have it.

And if all it gets is gun smoke and General Hospital and soap and Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, some other stupid TV commercial.

And brother, you in trouble.

And this friend of mine was in trouble.

There was a broom standing up there on the front porch.

He grabbed that broom, started trying to fight these guys off with it.

Directly one of them pulled a weapon.

Boy, then he knows he's.

He's gonna do something.

I mean, this is a man roughly 60, 61 years old, fighting off four young men.

The oldest one in the bunch wasn't 30, and they're getting more serious by the minute.

All of a sudden it dawned on him, boy, I better use the name of Jesus.

And he hollered out loud, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

You touch not God's prophet and do him no harm.

Man.

They backed off like that and backed off out on the sidewalk, and he's still pointing his name at them, his finger at them, hollering in the name of Jesus.

They all four run off.

Now he started home.

He's thinking, now, you dodo, why didn't you do that to start with?

Now he got home, he didn't say anything to anybody about it.

And all that whipping he went through and everything else.

He noticed the next morning he's healed, wasn't sore when they sort of sent him all over.

See, the name worked on both ends of the deal.

But now, folks, it would have worked to start with.

It would have worked before they ever got there.

It would have worked before they ever got close enough to him to know they're there.

See, if he'd been using it and invoking it.

But even if he had not known how, even if he had just simply known that the law of reciprocal is available for everything Satan can do to you.

God's got something a million times bigger.

If you can't do anything else, just say, get him, God.

We were in Honolulu, Hawaii.

You don't use laws of the spirit.

You don't use them, you're going to lose them.

You are the one standing in the middle, my friend.

We were in Honolulu and I preached on some of these things.

A young woman called my wife over the next day.

We were having four services a day.

Brother Kenneth Hagin and Charles Capps and I were all three preaching on that program over there.

And it was a teaching seminar.

One of the greatest meetings I've ever had anything to do with.

We were having meetings all day.

We started off at, I don't remember, 9:00 in the morning, I think, something like that.

We just went all day and took off for lunch all once or twice anyway, and just had meetings all day, Praise God.

I mean, we got into some good stuff.

Well, one of the services, I had talked about some of these things and using spiritual law and so forth.

And so the next morning, this lady came to my wife.

She said, I got up this morning, was getting ready.

She lived there in Honolulu.

She said, I was getting ready to Come to the meetings, you know, and she's just a.

Just a young girl.

And she said, I was in the shower, and she said, there's a man got in that shower with me and said he reached around behind.

Stepped in there behind her, reached around and got his arm around her head.

And she said, for just a second, panic just flew all over me.

But she said, all of a sudden, I remembered what Brother Copeland preached the day before.

And she said, I just shouted as loud as I could in the name of Jesus, you turned me loose.

And she said, he just backed out of the tub, and she just followed him out, pointing her finger at him in the name of Jesus.

And every time she'd say it, he'd back up a little further.

She backed him out into the living room, backed him into his trousers and backed him right out the front door and came on to the meeting.

Now, isn't that 100% better than standing around there saying, oh, my God, what am I going to do?

What am I going to do?

Well, I'll tell you what, what you about to do, you about to do whatever that old boy wants you to do, or what everything else Satan wants you to do, whether he's using a human, whether he's using a demon or what he's using, you're going to do what he wants to do if you don't resist him.

But, brother, you take the name of Jesus, Resist him, and he will flee from you.

Hallelujah.

Now, there was a.

There was a fellow responded to this to me one time, said, well, now.

And he was serious about it.

He wasn't trying to put it down or anything.

He said, I know somebody that did that.

And it just didn't have any effect on anybody at all.

It won't, as long as it's just coming out of your head.

You know, you standing there saying, I think I'm going to try this.

That fellow that's standing there with the pistol in his hand, he's not trying, he's doing it.

Mm.

He didn't come there, try to rob you.

He come in there to get your bread, baby, and you leave with it and whatever else he wants until you make up your mind down in your spirit and in your mind and your body, beyond all else, that God's word's true and God's on my side, and I will not fear.

There's a book published by Bible Voice in California called Terra Etanifere.

Ever Born Again Believe in the United States.

I'll read.

Ought to Read that.

It's the testimony of a man that was in this holocaust in the Canary Islands a year or two ago.

Well, those two 747s ran together on the ground up there.

You remember that worst air disaster in history.

Over 550 people died in that thing.

And he was right in the middle of it, a KLM 747 that had just topped off her fuel 800,000 pounds of airplane.

Can you imagine that?

And the fog was terrible.

And he ran broadside into Pan American 747, both of them full of people and this born again, spirit filled believer.

President of a business school in Los angeles, better than 50 years old.

And he said, probably physically the most out of shape man on the whole airplane.

Better than 6 foot tall, weighs about 250 pounds.

He said, Man, I sat behind the desk many years.

He said, it sure wasn't my physical prowess that got me out of that thing.

But right in the middle of that, the cabin of that airplane was split open by the nose wheel of that other 747 barreling down the Runway.

And when it split open, it burst.

The forward tanks of the KLM airplane went dumping that jet fuel down in that cabin and it ignited, it burned people so bad that the people that survived said that they stood there and watched the flesh melt and fall off their bones.

Most horrible thing that people have ever had, have really given any account of and lived through it.

And, and this brother Wilson said just all of a sudden he just hollered out loud.

All of a sudden he just shouted out loud, I'm standing on the word in the name of Jesus by the blood of the Lamb.

And he said when I said that, all fear left me.

So he said, I hollered it again.

He said when I hollered it the next time, he said something got me up out of my seat and when I.

He said, I just hollered it again and something moved me over this way.

He said when I hollered it again, something moved him a little bit over this way.

And he said, here come a ball of white hot something down the aisle.

And he said, I didn't have time to dodge.

He just kind of threw up his hand.

He said, I don't know where it went, didn't feel it hit me, don't know where it went.

And he said, so I just hollered it again, I'm standing on the word in the name of Jesus by the blood of the lamb.

He just kept shouting that and he.

And, and something just kept moving him down the aisle, moving him down the aisle, moving him a little far, moving him around things, people dying all the way around him, folks.

And he got up and he said he saw a hole in the top of that cabin of that airplane.

It's 10ft from the, from the floor up to the top of a 747 man, 50 year old man, 250 pounds.

How's he gonna get out that hole?

He's standing there looking at the hole.

I'm standing on the word in the name of Jesus, he said.

He's shouting it at the top of his lungs.

And he said the next thing he knew, he said he did not have any mental recognition or recollection rather of ever moving or anything.

That's the next thing he knows.

He's standing there with his head out that hole and he's got the size of the holes in his hands.

So he just hollered it again, struggled his way out that hole and run off down the wing, jumped off the end of the thing and run away.

His 30 foot drop off the end of that wing.

The next morning when he woke up, there was little white, I mean little pieces of molten metal all over his white pillar there that he could see that had come out of his flesh during the night while he was sleeping.

He never did know it all that just fell out during the night.

What's going on?

The spirit of God was going on.

That's what's going on.

The angels of the Lord involved in that thing.

The angel of the Lord was there just the same as in that old fiery furnace when Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego said, just turn her up, Doc.

We're not going to die.

We're not going to die.

That fourth man was in there.

There's been a many a man, many a God loved blood, bought blood, washed unfortunate believer, died, went on to heaven.

And enjoying heaven's wonders now.

But oh, they could have done so much more here if they'd have just known.

What I'm telling you about tonight.

I'm telling you, brother, you can beat Satan with just a little knowledge.

Do you know that we've beat him in medical science in how many different areas?

Just in natural knowledge.

He's not the hot rod.

He goes around telling everybody he is.

He's a nobody without anything unless you give it to him.

The Bible says, give Satan no place.

Give him no place.

Hallelujah.

What's on the other end of fear?

Faith.

What's on the other end of weakness?

You know what Joel said, let the weak say I am strong.

Isn't that simple?

But you know what the Christians say.

Yeah, but I know I'm not.

Brother Copeland, you just being hard on me.

You're the one that's being hard on you.

I didn't write the Bible.

Don't get mad at me.

I wished I had, but I didn't.

You're not going to find my name written in the book of Job.

But glory to God.

You'll find God's name all over it.

If God said, let the weak say I'm strong, then praise the Lord.

That's what we ought to be saying.

When you do it, see?

When you do it because God said it.

When you do it because it's a statement of God.

And for no other reason.

Then you license God and you privilege God to prove himself a faithful God.

And that's exactly what he'll do.

I don't know, Brother Conflin.

Now, I just don't know so much about that.

Because, you see, I happen to know someone that believed that way, and they died.

That's what you get for basing your faith on them.

I'm going to tell you something.

You don't want to die not believing this way.

Ever get caught dead not operating in faith.

I tell you right now, it won't work.
