Hosted By Rane Bowen and Jo Stewart, The Flow Artists Podcast is about yoga, meditation, movement and flow. We'll learn from teachers we love about how they communicate their offerings to the wider world, talk to local yoga pioneers, and have discussions on philosophy, art and consciousness.
This show started off OK. I liked that you were talking to me instead of reading. The update about a studio that's not open was a little long for a studio that I can't access. The introduction of your guest was a bit long, and while you were reading, was tolerable. Once the interview started, the audio quality was horrible. You sounded like you were recording in a bathroom. My guess is you're using one microphone in the middle of the table. This is not acceptable in today's podcast landscape if you're trying to come across as borderline yoga professionals. I would recommend purchasing a microphone for each person like the ATR2100, and a mixer or a portable recorder like a Zoom H6.
Podcast equipment is a one time purchase. You can always sell it on ebay if you decide to fold up show later. There is something going on with your audio when you are solo. You possibly over-produced it. I'm not sure what, but when you are not talking there is still something in the background.
