Scott Reib is the Uber of lawyers. He has cracked the code to providing affordable, simple and convenient legal services for entrepreneurs and business owners, on the fly. Scott is also the Walmart of the lawyers, revolutionizing the payment system so that entrepreneurs who don't have a spare $100,000 can also get legal help.
In this episode, Scott goes through the basics of what you need to do when you start your business to avoid getting caught out in the cold with massive claims filed against you. He also shares his struggle of finding the right platform to handle all his requests.
But the best part is that Scott's clients actually love it when he calls them. Tune in to find out why!

Episode Highlights:
[02:42] The second thing you need to do is make sure that whatever brand name you've chosen is really available. The worst thing would be to build your brand on someone else's brand and then they come down on you, sue for infringement, and you have to start over.
[08:15] It's the one person listening to us right now that jumps out and starts their business tomorrow, runs over a neurosurgeon while they're delivering their first product that's going to have a problem. I don't want to be negative, but it's in our society. There's 20 million lawsuits filed every year
[22:00] It just creates a totally different paradigm between lawyer and client. My clients like it when I call them, because they're not worried about getting billed for it. We spend half of our time talking about what's going on in their life.
[23:51] Walmart could sell a lot more expensive things, but they don't, because their idea is to provide the lowest cost items to the masses. So we've chosen here that we want to be there for the startup entrepreneur that does not have $100,000.
[29:46] If the judgment is against an LLC, it doesn't show up when you go get a home, go try to buy your first house, if you're trying to buy a car etc. So there are some real advantages to having that separation between you personally and your business,
[37:08] My struggle right now is the platform to handle all of the requests that we have for the clients. When I looked Monday, we had 65 active legal requests, either a question, request for a contract, or a contract review, for example, and trying to find the right platform to handle those has been a real struggle for the last year and a half.
