And most of our audience is looking for that. I mean, you're you're on this journey, you've got this great idea for your business, how do you get out get it out there in a bigger and better way? And how do you kind of reach those that next level, though, and all the levels that come after that? So that's what our conversation is going to be about today. And when I found out that this is what you do, Brenda? This is why exactly why I wanted to have you here, so. So please welcome Brenda Bailey to the podcast today. So Brenda, thank you for being here.
Brenda Bailey:Thank you for having me. I've got I mean, this is one of my favorite subjects to talk about. And I think that as entrepreneurs, that's what we know. It's like we're aware, painfully aware.
Chuck Anderson:Exactly. While we're going to try to deep dive as deep as possible into this in the in the 2530 minutes that we have together. Of course, we could probably spend an entire day and do an entire day workshop on on something like this. But you know, I mean, let's start a little bit of it and tell everybody kind of like, introduce yourself and your business and what you do. And then we'll, we'll we'll dive into that a little bit further.
Brenda Bailey:Absolutely. So I have been an entrepreneur for 31 years. I like to say that I started when I was five. But that's true. But I've been doing it a while and I had I've had two major businesses. As a result of that. The first one was a seven figure sales company. I actually did tradeshow sales across the US, including Hawaii and Alaska, and even dipped a little bit into Canada. Just gonna say that, but not too much because the exchange rate wasn't so good back then. But I traveled and And I know a lot about sales, let's just put it that. And I think that that's a great background for any entrepreneur to do. Although that's not what I do, I'll just say that that's usually where people need a little help as well. And I say 18 years ago, something called the Internet was coming. And we knew that people weren't going to be getting information or, you know, buying products like they would have to do to good shows to find the latest, greatest. So I knew that it was time to pivot, pieced off that company and thought I wanted to do something because pretty much I did seven figures at the at the expense of my soul, I felt like and I was young and stupid, and I didn't believe in paying somebody something that I could do myself. Lesson learned, don't do that. And then I started this next company. And it really came as a result because of what I realized what the first company is, because only to do it six months out of the year, I had it down to six months out of the year that I physically had to attend meetings or, you know, the shows meetings. So it gave me time to be able to do to really do self awareness because as I say, I've been on my self awareness journey for 32 years. And my one of my favorite things to say is to be one to know what you need to work on become an entrepreneur. So for sure, so what I realized, even without not knowing that much, and being young with the trade show, I started like doing, you know, retreats and webinars and doing these deep emotional work. And what I realized is every time I did one, which was not the reason I was doing it, but it was one of the perks was is that my income would double when I did the deep dive when I did the deep work on myself. But honestly, I'm good conscious. I couldn't really recommend people to spend the time, money and energy that I did. It's just that that's all that was available at that time. And that's all I knew. But I think in the back of my mind, I always thought this, this has got to be easier and have the same result. So I ended up getting 13 different certifications as a result of that during that time. Just you know, you take a class, you look into different modalities, you get a certification, you pay the money, you get a certification, but none of them really spoke to me until I I found one about 17 years ago. And I was actually going back to school to be an acupuncturist. That's what I thought I wanted to make a difference in people's lives. I loved my acupuncturist. And this is what she said to me, I relocated back home, I'm in San Antonio, Texas, for family. And then she said to me, Brenda, at your age, and it was like food, you got to start the sentence off like that. She's like, do you really want to go back to school for five years, and then start a new business. And I was like, wow, and she's like you do that better? She grew up in Europe, you do that data, and it sounds like something that you really like and that you would want to do. And here's my thought, Yes, I do want to help people. But here's the thing. And if this does occur to you, I'm gonna say this right now, can I make money doing this? Because if you you know, one, it's one to help people but to you have to be able to help yourself. So I love Suzanne Evans, saying that money isn't the most important thing, but it touches everything that is. So I always keep that in the back of my mind. And so what I discovered was, yes, I can make money do this, and I can make good money doing this. And it was just such a win win, because I can make a difference for people in a very short period of time. Well, because of where what was available for me to network, I ended up being around a lot of entrepreneurs, and I understand the entrepreneurial journey, I get it. I know the ups and downs, believe me 31 years, I know it. And the thing that I soon discovered was that people were coming to me because their businesses would change after coming to me, yes, they if I help you personally, I'll help you professionally, it goes back and forth. But what I actually do is I go beyond the mind, everybody's always talking about you need the right mindset. And you have to do this, this, this, this and this. And for most entrepreneurs, we already have a list of what we have to do for our business. We don't have time for ourselves. But that at least has been my experience in who I've worked with. And these are people who are up leveling their businesses. So I've put together and discovered like what that would look like. That's what I do now as I help entrepreneurial up level but in a different way. very unconventional, very effective, efficient, because even though I work with people on a cellular level, that's actually what I do. I always say I'm a woowoo person with a business background, because it has to you know, it's one thing to support ourselves and I think It's great if people do the massage, do the you know, that is supportive self care. But I like to do the type of self care that makes a difference in the amount of money that you make, or that return on energy always go Re and our Oh, I, so that return on investment that return on energy. And that's me, that's what I do. So I kind of added some other things in there. You've been?
Chuck Anderson:Well, no worries. While we definitely have the time, and we're gonna, we're gonna dive deeper into this. But I love so much about your story. It relates to some of the things in my story, which none of which I'm going to tell right now, because they've all heard it. But, you know, a few things stand out to me, first of all, you know, in that pursuit of growth, or up leveling your business, I mean, you just said it a few moments ago. I mean, we spend so much time thinking about the tasks that we need to do in our business that we don't often take the time to grow ourselves. We're trying to grow our businesses, but we're not trying to grow ourselves. And, you know, one of the themes of this show is like your business is only going to grow to the extent that you do. And, and so I mean, that's really what this is about, you said something really interesting was, which is about all of the different certifications that you were pursuing. And this is something that well, I did as well, and that I countless others that I've had conversations with, it's the first thing we think about, it's like, oh, I want to go to the level another level. So I need this certification or this training. And if I have this credential, then you know, more people are going to pay me more money, or I'm going to get more customers. And sadly, and I would say in most cases, when I've had this conversation, that just isn't true.
Brenda Bailey:It's not. And you know, those 13 different certifications were all by accident, I was really just working on myself, and they gave me a certificate, it sounds good on my bio, but those were never intentional. But then when we look towards our business, you know, everybody thinks, oh, you know, that next shiny object, this is what I need to do. Because again, I think people work so hard to get to that first six figures, that's the hardest thing. And they've got so much on their plate, like, this is what it takes for me to get here. And I can't do anything else. So therefore, I have to stay at this level, until I can make more room on my play. And it's, it's not about that.
Chuck Anderson:Yeah, it really is intended, it's like, oh, I will do this when I get here. Or I will do this when I achieve this or have this and, and you know, it's that impossible horizon that we can really never achieve. And so we need to flip that. So I love this, because now this kind of ties into the work that you do with business owners. So what are you noticing with the with the people who are coming into your world that you're ultimately working with? What are they saying? What are some of the things you're hearing from them in terms of their struggle with up leveling?
Brenda Bailey:Well, when they don't have the time, or the energy to be able to up level? Or that they feel like that they need to take a certain class or they need, you know, one more certification to be able to do this and this or that. They're, they've put in all the work and they're doing all the things and they're not getting that return on that energy and investment. And they don't know why, like, Why is it you know, I think people go, well, it works for everybody else, but not me. Well, there are some things out there. Let's face it. We've all spent some money on things that didn't work. I mean, what I mean, you can't be an entrepreneur. And that's the deals that we have to get past that. I help people get past that. Because then a lot of times what ends up happening either people, they lose faith in themselves. Or, and then that affects because again, as I say, I'd like people to make intentional choice versus reactionary choice. And what ends up happening that when we make a mistake, or we've, you know, spent money and we're not you know, it's not working for us, we either make it about us, we're defective in some way. works for everybody else, but not me, I hear that or they are, you know, doing it but not getting exactly what they want from it or it takes a lot of time and energy. A lot of times when I work with certain clients, I'll be like, Okay, well, why are you doing that? You know, I have a client like I don't have a background in franchises. She's got a French stripe, but I can still work with her because I know what's going on for her. And I remember like one time she was showing up and she was telling me about like her like lead generation process. And I could just tell By how she was describing it and saying it, it just didn't resonate with her and it wasn't her. And I went, where are you doing that? Well, I have a mentor. And he told me to do that. I said, stop doing it. I'm doing it. Is that really how you want to be doing it in your business? Is this how you want to do it? And she was like, No. And I'm like, Okay, how would you want to do it in your business? The minute that she changed that she started getting leads. We did some work, right? We did some you know, and like, I have to do it, like, Oh, my mentor tells me to do it and that kind of thing. We did some work, but I had already been working with her for a while. And that's why I was like, What are you? What are you doing? That? You know, again, I don't help people like what their business plans are. That's not my deal. Like, right, that's like, why I belong to organizations and how I met Chuck, I like to refer people I like to know people that are vetted, that are good, that can do it, that's I like to connect to people, that's not going to help I'm going to help you. It's that you're already there, you have a business. And you don't can't put anything else on your plate, or we've made enough mistakes. Or we're aware that the common denominator in the equation that doesn't make it work is us. That's when you just have to get real. Like, I think the problem here is, and that's where I can help people, what people don't realize is that that's why not everybody is an entrepreneur, it's not, it's not easy that you have to also run a business and look at yourself. And that's that looking at yourself, I make it super easy for people. So that that you can just benefit from the result of that without having to do because sometimes I look at some people's, you know, because they are aware that they need to be more centered they need to, but there's a reason why you're not centered, there's a reason why there are certain things happening that we can go ahead and just change that. And then you can get better results, whatever that is. But a lot of people are even close to burnout when I see them, Chuck because they're just doing too much. And just even energetically, if you're filling your time, with too much of of TAS there's no space for the joy, the the you know, reaping the rewards, whether that be financially or however that looks. And then just being in that organic flow of it. And it's, again, one you have to like whoever you work with, you have to vet them, and see like, what the results have been for other people. And the big thing is, is that most group programs, and I say this with love don't work, because the people who joined it, right, like the people paid the money, their stuff comes up, and then they can't move forward in it.
Chuck Anderson:It's more about a tactic or a strategy, versus how do I implement this into my business? How do I integrate this into my life? How do I integrate this into my vision, and instead is just kind of like a tactic. It's kind of the pushing of buttons. It's kind of like what you said a moment ago, about your client who was doing a lead generation thing that really didn't resonate with her because somebody else said, oh, you should be doing this. And the whole time, it's feeling uncomfortable. And you don't know why. Right? It's like, yeah,
Brenda Bailey:doesn't work for everybody. And this is how it works in the industry and everyone else, but you don't have a typical business in this industry. And you're not everyone else. And, you know, that's that's the big thing. I think, what happens a lot, as I say, we're a wounded society. And the only way to grow our business as entrepreneurs is to step out of our comfort zone. Right? So there are some things that don't fit. We need to know that about ourselves. There are things that we're doing that make us uncomfortable, because they don't fit. And there are things that make us uncomfortable because we need to we need to do it. Right. So I love you know, again, I love sayings, right? Because they inspire me, Will Smith said, you know everything good is on the other side of fear. So sometimes if it's just fear that we're feeling, you know, what is this? Is it because it doesn't resonate with the core of who I am? Or it makes me uncomfortable and I don't want to do it. Right. What am why? Why is that? So that it's for us to be able to know that difference and navigate that. There's both of them are valid, but I know for myself, I don't like to network. I'm not gonna lie. I don't like going into meetings. It's I'm an introvert, believe it or not, I know everybody's always like, No, you're not you're good at talking. It's like no, but I'm an introvert,
Chuck Anderson:Which is ironic, because that's how we met. And we connected instantly.
Brenda Bailey:And I left because we were in a smaller group, we got put into a breakout room, like physically attend, because you remember, I've been doing this for 17 years, physically attending meetings where there's a lot of people, just, that's, that's, that's too much for me. And it was just exhausting. And it's, you know, so like to have to go and talk to somebody, go walk up to somebody in a room or walk up to a group of people in a room. It's a lot, it's overwhelming for me. And I would luckily at a technique that I could just work on myself before work on myself after and just go do it. And that was the best thing that I could do for my business was networking, and connecting and collaborating, and getting referral partners and, and you know, all of that that's what worked for more old school.
Chuck Anderson:I love that you just said that, because it it ties in so nicely and naturally to the theme of our show, which is, is collaborations and, you know, I hear this term solopreneurs so often, and you know, no, the reality is nobody really accomplishes anything significant on their own. Nobody really does it by themselves. I as a recovering do it yourselfer. And this, this show is therapy for me as well, because it reminds me of that, I wanted to ask you how collaborations and partnerships have played a role in your business?
Brenda Bailey:Well, first, I want to just address like what you just said, because I discovered with DIY, I won't do it. Spend a little money to discover that. I won't do it. So therefore I pay other people to do it. Like if somebody wants to talk to me about a DIY option. I'm like, I know now I'm just not even going to I don't care if it's just 100 200 500,000 I'm not doing it, I won't do it. I'm not going to waste my money in that way. I you know, we have to get real on who we are like, Well, I have a team and I still want to do it. Like I won't do it. But that the collaboration. I think it's just meeting people who it's not like that we have to they don't have to believe everything that I believe we don't have to, but we share the same audiences or we want the same for people. And then what does that look like? Like, a lot of times, I do a 90 minute intro session. Now I approach it very differently. When I look at mindset, I say I do mindset that doesn't have anything to do with the mind. Because it's Albert Einstein another quote here, as Albert Einstein said, you cannot solve a problem in the same way that has been created. It's all been created in our minds, folks. Spoiler alert. So it has to be approached differently. And so what people will do at times as they will say, you know, that 90 minute intro session it does, it clears a lot of things really changes the trajectory for people without them having to do anything except show up for this 90 minute session and make a list like I do, I have like guidelines and outline of what we're going to work on. And it really what I say is as I make clients less resistant, it's for them to have success in other people's programs. So people will include the 90 Minute intro session. And now the new addition to my tool belt, I will say is an AI software called SRC for you that actually can do the same that I can do, but actually isn't limited to my own experiences. I won't tell you how old I am. But you know, it's aI so it covers Eastern Western philosophies that helps on that mental, emotional, spiritual and physical level. These are all the levels that affect our business. So there are some times that people will go I don't have mindset in my program, and I'm like, and that is why people aren't having as great success, or I have all these resistant clients. Well, I can help you with that. Because nobody creates a program guys or I'm gonna say maybe not everybody but most people don't create a program because they don't feel like it will be successful and can help you they actually do it because they know it works and that it will happen and so if it's not there, you know it's and nobody likes to see somebody not complete it, do it, you know reap the success from it. But a lot of times the reality is is that people fall to the wayside and it has nothing to do with the person who created the program or the program it has to do with the person hit a wall and they didn't know how to navigate out of it.
Chuck Anderson:And it's usually not a tactical wall. It's not like a like oh this software I was implementing didn't work or and I needed In tech support, it's that we hit the obstacle up here. It's like, I don't know what to do next, or the self doubt is like, Oh, I don't know if this is going to work. I don't know if this is going to be for me, and you get partway through it. And then stop.
Brenda Bailey:I don't, this feels uncomfortable. Oh, yeah. Yeah. And it's like, okay, you know, so. But what happens for people because of whatever the, you know, the little voices in their head are saying or what, how they're feeling. It's like, that comes up and it rears its ugly head, and then people get confused. Or they don't want to face it. And again, as entrepreneurs who's got the time in the space, right, like, it's like, it's that deal, like, well, I just won't do this, because I don't have the time or the space, I've got to, you know, I've got a company to run, I've got to do this. So that's, you know, those are ways that I collaborate with people, I also speak in people's groups. Because here's my thing, even though this is what we're doing now. And I can always throw some a little bit at the end of check, it's open, I love to to have for people to have an experience. It's the only way that you know, like, I can talk like I was actually just did a one on one with somebody from the group. And he kept trying to wrap his head around the SRC for you, right, the AI technology, and I'm like, Oh, my gosh, open, I offer a free seven day experience. I'm telling you, this will answer a lot of questions for you by just having the experience. So I love to go into groups. And just like, you know, what's the, what's the theme here? What's what's happening? What are you hearing a lot of, and we just work on that. So I love to come in and be hosted by graves just as an expert to be able to do that. That's another thing that I do. And I offer like free weekly webinars on targeted topics that the SRC for you works on, like we're doing fatigue this week, but I've done lack of focus, we're doing xiety We do sleep issues, you know, these are all the things that affect us as entrepreneurs. And they're free. I you know, again, yes, I do make money down the line. I do have other things to offer people, but I believe in experience, speaks volumes. And then you know whether or not Oh, you know, I literally had a guy who, you know, he was a major real estate investor had a group, you know, any, you know, I'm in Texas, right? So he said, I don't know what the hell you do, but it works, right? Like he is like, I don't get it. And that's the thing, you don't have to get it, you just have to get results. And that's that's the big thing. Because I do have a business background, I want you to get results. So that's how I collaborate with people or people will just like Chuck going, you know what I think like what you have to say, my audience needs, wants, desires. Let's get you on my podcast. I'm like, Cool. I love that.
Chuck Anderson:Well, podcasting is a great way to collaborate with people. That's my go to way of meeting people getting to know them. And at a deeper level, and I'm always thinking about what more could we do together? How can we support each other's missions, not just our businesses, but personally as well, like, we're all doing this for a reason. And it's usually not the pursuit of a gazillion dollars, or the joy of working 12 hours a day building a business. It's there's an every time I ask the question of my clients, it almost always come down to a person or a group of people, I'm doing this because I want a better life for my family, my partner, whatever it is, it always comes down to a relationship of some sort. Otherwise, why? Why? Why? Why? Because there's much easier things to do sometimes, right? Even though like I get to do things that are really cool. Like, for me, podcasting is my number one favorite thing to do in, in all of the business activities that I could do. My second favorite is coaching people one on one it is I just love the the intimate, you know, one on one, and we can we can make a difference. So for me, that's, that's what it is, it took a long time to figure out because I used to run very, very far in the other direction of all of those things. Right. And that's kind of like what you're talking about when you do the deep work. It opens you up to the things that you really want to be doing. And that you really get a lot of joy out of doing.
Brenda Bailey:What and here's the thing, right? What I do, like I use the tech technique called Theta Healing and if you Google it, you're going to find like it's going to talk about like physical healings but I like that spiritual and emotional aspect. I mean, I I believe in all of it, but we you know, we're of certain cultures were of certain religion. gents, you know, we were raised by certain parents, and all of that plays in our head, it's part of our DNA. And it really affects how we navigate in our business. So what I do with data healing is we bypass the mind the conscious and the subconscious mind. And we change those beliefs, like people don't understand, like, people will say, I believe this. No, that's how you think and feel what you believe is held on a cellular level. And it's why we do the definition of insanity. We all know that repeating the same behavior and expecting a different outcome. And you see it like I always say, different aisles, same pew kind of thing. People see it, and they do it in different ways. And when we can stop that, and allow you to come from that, knowing and intuition, the most successful, you know, Hilton, right grew this great hotel chain. And when he was around, like in the 20s, and 30s, he literally started off every morning, meditating, and getting centered on what he wanted. That's like a little known fact about Hilton. But he knew even like, he had an idea, like, why was he successful. And also, he followed his intuition when we do that kind of stuff, you know, what I allow for people to do once we change like that, what we brought into this life, what we experienced in this life, what we have inherited, and even just the traumas, because we're a very traumatized society, but we're just a very traumatized culture. And we remove like, the non forgiveness forgiving ourselves for the mistakes we've made in our business. How is that showing up? Do we react to things? Are we too cautious? Now, it's like that doesn't serve you because then you have to follow your intuition. You have to follow your knowing. And as a successful entrepreneur, there's the secret. And if you're blocking that through fear, trauma and unforgiveness, beliefs, either, like I said, either that you've inherited that you've brought in or that you've experienced, it's affecting, a lot of times people will look at me and say, Why didn't change one thing and things are different now. And I'm money, you know, opportunity, you know, it's opportunities, that really what people need, it's not so much money, it's the opportunities, and people are like, I can't believe that all this happened as a result of this. I'm like, you know, like, the real estate guy. His deals weren't going through its financing wasn't happening. After his 90 minute session, that all changed. And that's when he picked up the phone. So I say meant the summon work, right, picked up the phone, and what else you got, right? Like a woman guy, we gotta have to feel into it. You know, what I also doing yoga that we are, you know, like, we look at what else all can affect it. We know that men are very, like, I know what was different. And it was that I had a session with you. And so what else can you do for me? And I'm like, Okay, well, we can talk about that. I love one on one. But I also love working with groups. And I love what I love at the SRC for you is it's just a matter of filling out a form through an email. And then the software runs for you, the program runs for you. So we don't even have to meet. And I like to meet people at the end and just hear about their experience. But, you know, one of my favorite stories is I was working with this gal. She worked in home health care. And she just had a lot of there were a lot of things personally that weren't right for her business was good. And I met her in a networking group. And so this was back in the day. So the following month, I ran into her and I was like, Hey, how's it going? And she just looked at me. She goes, Yeah, I don't think that session worked for me. And I was like, okay, so I always tell people, you have complete anonymity, because I don't remember sessions when they're done. So I was just like, Okay, well, you know, I know that's not about me, right? So I just kind of went well, but tell me what's new. You know, she was dating, she had gotten a dog she had moved, like, in 30 days, she had moved. She had done a vocal performance. And when she said that, I went, Wait a minute, like, then all of a sudden, I started getting flashbacks of her session. And I was like, we worked on, you know, performance anxiety. Wait a minute, she wasn't dating anybody in 10 years. Wait a minute, she's always wanted a dog. And she hated where she was living. Right. So like all you know, I know that my eyes are probably like David around because I was like, you know, like listening to what she was saying. I was like, Wait a minute. And then at the end, she looked at me and she went, Oh, I think this session did work. Great. But that's the beautiful thing. We're so used to us having to do something in order for that change to happen that it's a little hard for people to wrap around, like what I do for them. It's not so much that we have to change what we're doing but we usually have to do less and just be more intentional and be more in our in tuition. And our knowing, which I know sounds really like out there. But let's face it, you know that they're starting to say gins that you made that had nothing to do with, you know, like in trade shows, I don't always, I didn't know I was networking back then I didn't know what it was. But if I was at a show, I'd always talk to my neighbors. Or if I, you know, we, you know, went in early and was just like shopping, right? Because, you know, good deals, I did a lot, a lot of wholesale cash and carry that kind of show. So, you know, kind of see what's there. I would just look at them and say, you know, where were you last week? What show did you do last week? Which shows would you recommend? What shows would you recommend? And here's the thing, I did some of the shows that they didn't like, and they were good shows for me. I just wanted to know what shows they'd been doing. And if they didn't like something I always asked like, Well, what did you like about it? What didn't you like about it? Right? Like, those were the questions. Because they weren't me. They weren't my product. They weren't, you know, so it was just looking at all that. And maybe it was just that they had a bad location, you know, like it was that kind of thing, asking a few questions. And then following my intuition. My crew would laugh at me all the time. Because I again, I did a lot intuitively, because I even had a coach when I went into this new business that wanted to look at my old business, so that she could compare it she said, shit, how the hell did you make any money? How did you do seven figures? Well, I was young and stupid. I just did it by intuition. And, and then I lost it. When I went into this one I, you know, because, again, now with social media and everything else, we have all these people telling us like, you've got to do this, you got to do that. And I believed them. And I felt like that I'm even just doing a little bit of stepping back going. I don't. And I'm just going to be honest. And I hope I don't offend anybody. I don't know if social media is the best avenue for me. At this age, and who I am, it's more about connection. Yeah.
Chuck Anderson:And I'm not sure that it's the best avenue for a lot of people, right. And so, and this is what you're kind of saying, like we buy into the tactics and the things that we need to do and not as much and we always bring ourselves to it. And I think that's really what the theme of our episode has been here. We're almost out of time here. But I want to just say that I mean, and say to our audience, first of all, if you're listening to this right now, that means you've been resonating with what, Brendan? Yeah, you're still here, which means there is a next step for you. And I think that is connecting with Brenda and the work that she does. And so, So Brenda, you're gonna send me all your links, and I'm going to put them in the show notes. If you're watching this on video, all of her stuff is right there. beneath this video, if you're listening on podcast, just click into the player the show notes. All the links are there as well. Brenda, what do you think is the next step? So anyone listening in right now? What is the next step to connect with you and the work that you do?
Brenda Bailey:Well, if you if you are fascinated again, I think that chat GPT has got us all like, you know, we're not all like thinking of Megan that movie like we're oh my god AI is like going to destroy us and be like the worst thing in the world. Whether whether you're a chat, GBT, yes or no or I don't have a saying, but what I do love about it is that it's kind of put AI, like we've been doing a lot of things with AI. But nobody, I think that that one has really made us aware of that software, like it's AI. So if you just want to like dip your toe in and just have, again, attend a webinar that's free, I have a lot of different topics. But what I'll do really special because it's Chuck, is that I would love for anybody in his audience to have a free seven day experience. What does it look like to make a list and be supported by an artificial intelligence software that can help me emotionally, spiritually, mentally, physically? And what does that look like to have ongoing support for seven days? And then you'll meet me at the end, because I asked you to come have a 20 minute session because I want to hear about your experience. And I want to answer any questions for you. Or if that day to healing sounds kind of like whoa, that 90 minute interest session kind of sounds like something good. You can either, you know, I'll give you the link to just do it. But if you need to talk to me first I Knowledge is power. So I want you to ask any questions that you need to do? Find out about me, meet me more on a personal level of do a 30 minute chat with you and decide whether or not if I'm not a good fit for you, I'll tell you I don't have and I will give you some options. You know, like I'm not the only game in town. And I know that so I know that if I'm not a fit, but I usually am I'm not gonna lie but but if it's just if you're one of those few, I can give you other options. Like I said, I've been entrepreneur for 31 years I've been networking, I know peace, and I'm happy to connect you and whatever way that looks. So it's even just, you know, as I say something We'll come down if you want me to help you with your, the blueprint of your business, that is not me. But I'm happy to talk to you about it. And then I can make a recommendation. So either meet with me, the 90 Minute intro session, or do a free do a free seven day experience, or attend a webinar, you know, like, again, I'm not sure if I want to do seven days will come to an hour webinar that I do I do it every week. One is, you know, I'll pick a topic and I do the am one week, and then I did the pm the next week, or vice versa, you know, depends on my schedule. But it's offered at a time, there's no recordings, it's a live deal, because it's to get your feedback. I'm one that likes, again, I love podcasting. And I hate not getting a feedback from somebody, right? Like I that's what I love is to be able to connect with people. So those are the ways that you can work with me. And if I just confused, you just, you know, do 30, do a 30 minute chat with me. And then I can help you decide on what the best next step is. But I offer a lot of free stuff. So you can have an experience.
Chuck Anderson:Amazing, well, we're gonna link to all your stuff there. So please do send all that to me, and I'll make sure that it is there. So by the time you're listening to it, it's already there, just go ahead and click it. And, and you'll look, there's a reason why you're listening this today. And that is I think, to connect to Brenda, and the seven day experience sounds amazing. And
Brenda Bailey:Chuck's gonna do it, right.
Chuck Anderson:I'm gonna definitely do it. And I'm gonna give you the feedback for sure on how that is. And then, you know, maybe we do more, maybe there's a part two to this, Brenda, after that. And so that would be amazing to do. We only have a couple minutes left in our session here. But I wanted to ask you real quick just because you know, your your journey, not only in building your business, but you're building yourself as well. And I like to ask this because everybody has their own favorite. And that is if you had one must read book that you could recommend to our listeners to go out and check out or to read. Which Which book would you recommend?
Brenda Bailey:Eat That Frog.
Chuck Anderson:Oh, wow. Nobody suggested that one yet. Tell us a little bit about that one.
Brenda Bailey:Oh, it's about time management. He breaks it down, like how you want to schedule your time, how to look at it, how to prioritize. And it's a little book like it's an easy read. I mean, it's a short read. It's an easy read. And I love it. I changed how I managed my time. And I think again, that's a challenge for entrepreneurs and what to say yes to what to say no to how to prioritize, you know, it gives you a lot of different options. It's a great book, and it's a great reread. So if you've read it, and you haven't read it in a while, I'm going to tell you to read it again. Because you've fallen off the wagon a little bit, you implemented some things and maybe fell off the wagon at certain, but it tells you about time. And I think that again, money is a commodity that as entrepreneurs we want, but I feel like that we do it for time.
Chuck Anderson:Mm hmm. We do it for time. But that's not always what we get as entrepreneurs. Right. And so I love that. Well, that's a great recommendation. And you know, we're going to link to that here as well. And you're we're going to add this to our sort of our library of recommendations from all the wonderful experts that we've had on our show. And that's a great recommendation. And nobody has suggested that one yet. So this has been an amazing interview. Thank you so much, Brenda, this has been great to our listeners, do reach out to Brenda and go click on that link for the seven day experience. Go ahead and do that.
Brenda Bailey:So webinars, whatever, whatever resonates for you,
Chuck Anderson:Whatever resonates. Absolutely. So if you were to leave our audience today, with just one final piece of advice or words of wisdom, what would you say to
Brenda Bailey:it's all about you. But you don't have to always make it about you.
Chuck Anderson:That is powerful. Great words to end this episode by Brenda, thank you so much. And to our audience, thank you for being here as well. Hopefully this has been time well spent for you. And you know what we'll make it really time well spent. Take Action, take something that you learned here today. Doesn't matter what it is. But take that step today. And maybe it's a tactic in your business, but I bet you if you're really listening, it's going to be something for yourself. And if you do something for yourself, you're going to feel better and when you feel better, your business results will be better as well. It's just how it works. And so we don't need to explain it. That's just how it is. So to everyone. Thank you. This has been Chuck Anderson with The Collaboration Show my guest, Brenda Bailey, saying keep forward and keep being awesome everybody, we'll see you on the next one.
