Growing up as a closeted gay son of a southern Baptist pastor in Alabama, Brett Trapp is someone who has had a remarkable personal and business journey…and he’s not afraid to talk about it. Things get candid on his blog and podcast, Blue Babies Pink, as he opens up about his experiences with faith, sexuality, and emotional health. After launching only this year, his podcast is already a worldwide smash. Today Brett shares his story. Brett Trapp is a consultant, writer, and speaker living in Atlanta’s historic Cabbagetown neighborhood. He was previously Vice President of Client Experience for the Boosterthon Fun Run – an innovative school fundraising company based out of Atlanta. Between 2005-2016, Brett was a key player in helping Booster raise more than $150 million for American schools. Within Booster, Brett led a team of creatives that developed high-end character and leadership content for more than 1.3 million students annually.

In late 2016, Brett launched Blue Babies Pink, a 44-episode journey through faith, sexuality shame, loneliness, singleness, and emotional health. To date, Blue Babies Pink has drawn nearly 100,000 readers/listeners from around the world. In 2017, the series released as a podcast and hit number one on the iTunes “Religion/Spirituality” chart and the top 50 of all podcasts worldwide. Blue Babies Pink podcast episodes have been downloaded more than 450,000 times. Brett is passionate about storytelling, leadership, good design, and SEC football. He also serves on the boards of directors for Beloved Atlanta and the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity.
