Shownotes

There are moments in childhood that quietly shape the rest of your life.

A broken home.

Feeling abandoned.

Being bullied.

Searching for love in all the wrong places.

Long before addiction begins, there's usually a story that no one sees.

In Part 1 of my conversation with Brandon McNaughton, we go back to where it all started. Brandon shares the painful childhood experiences that shaped his identity, including his parents' divorce, feeling abandoned by his mother, moving in with his emotionally unavailable father, being hospitalized after threatening suicide in sixth grade, relentless bullying, and the search for acceptance through drugs, sex, violence, and belonging.

Together, we explore childhood trauma, abandonment wounds, bullying, addiction, emotional pain, broken families, self-worth, father wounds, mental health, and how unresolved childhood experiences can influence every decision we make as adults.

This isn't just a conversation about addiction.

It's about understanding where the pain began.

This is not just a story.

This is a safe space.

If you've ever struggled with abandonment, questioned your worth, carried childhood wounds into adulthood, or found yourself looking for validation in unhealthy places, I hope this conversation reminds you that healing begins when we're willing to face our story.

Pull up a chair.

Thanks,

Brad
