Afton Rorvik savors words, flavored coffee, time outside, and living connected. She happily embraces her introversion as a gift and celebrates her courage-giving faith in God. She writes about the intersection of faith and friendship and introversion, including living as a Storm Sister. She has worked in the publishing industry for decades as both an editor and a writer and now writes with other women of faith as part of the Redbud Writers Guild. She seeks to embrace the word grateful in all seasons of life. Afton and her husband John have intentionally cultivated a friendship in their 30+ years of marriage as they raised and launched two children.
Afton Rorvik's new book , Living Connected: An Introvert’s Guide to Friendship, promotes introversion as a friendship-building gift. Introverts (and those who love them) will learn how to live connected, something that God calls all of us to do, even in this these pandemic, divisive days.
In her warm, conversational, story-loving voice, introvert Afton Rorvik looks at friendship one word at a time and describes creative and practical ways to live connected in a quiet, thoughtful way.
