When it comes to exercise and well being we've all got a few good excuses lined up - I’m too busy, I’ll do it tomorrow, I haven't got the motivation today, it's raining, it's too cold, it's too hot, and the list just goes on. If you're sick of hearing yourself make all of these excuses and you would like to go on and do the work, this episode is for you.

We will talk about excuses and how to look at them as stories that are holding us back, so we can stop that cycle that we currently find very hard to get out of.

- How to become aware of your background stories that are holding you back

- What it means to be honest with yourself

- How to recognise and choose one or two stories to start changing them

- How to address the root cause of the issue you are having

- The benefit of writing down your story so you can go back to it and rewrite it into a new version

Our stories are there for a reason, otherwise we wouldn't be using them. They are here to keep us safe.  It's normal to struggle a bit and to feel like you're torn between one thing but end up doing another. The trick is to get mindful and become aware of what's going on. Only then you will get what you need to push you through that barrier and start working out.
