Shownotes
If you’re in the psychedelic space or tracking the psychedelic movement, then you’ve undoubtedly heard the name Rick Doblin, Ph.D., who is the founder of the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies, also known as MAPS.
Rick is a visionary leader in his own right and has been leading the revolution in psychedelic medicine for more than 50 years.
I wanted to invite Rick onto the show so I can listen to him share his life’s story and what led him to where he is now – and what a remarkable story it is.
Rick doesn’t only share the past. The second half of the conversation looks at the future of psychedelic medicine, where Rick shares some thought-provoking insights, especially his vision of the movement in 20 years from now and what he thinks the next wave of psychedelic research will be. He also shares some really good advice for people who want to contribute to the psychedelic movement reminding us that psychedelic leadership can take many forms.
I also offer an additional introduction to this special episode offering a lens through which to tune into this conversation; the lens of visionary and psychedelic leadership.
