This may be our most UnAustralian episode thus far. We begin with a cheeky update from Covid bandit we mentioned a few weeks back, it appears that bridges may be burned.
Following that, we answer a few questions from a listener, mostly regarding how much our friends/family/co-workers know about the podcast, and considering none of us have been fired (yet), it’s clear that we keep these lives separate.
This week we have the third edition of the 2021 “Best Friend Check.” Miguel steps up to the plate this week, and in what's suddenly become a running gag in this quiz, Miguel asks obscure questions regarding his Warzone skills, his dog and his most commonly used catchphrase for 2021.
Finally, we end the episode with a fan favourite segment “Compare and Contrast” where we debate and rank various things, this week we tier iconic Aussie snacks. From Tim Tam to Milo, Vegemite to lamingtons, we rank the greatest Aussie snacks on a tier list which naturally goes from Steve Irwin to George Pell.
Also this week: Meteorites, Stormzy, Ben Simmons and Fairy Bread.
Segments this week:
The Logue: Tired of reaching around each other (at least on the podcast), the boys have instead decided to reach around the week’s news stories, events and viral trends.
Best Friend Check: The boys test each other on their friendship and try to expose how little they actually know about each other.
Compare and Contrast: Named in honour of our favourite HSC English essay questions, the boys debate the most pressing issues in society and attempt to agree on a ranked tier list, which may end up in broken friendships and definitely will end up being wrong.
