Maureen Spielman:

Hey there, welcome to mystical sisterhood.

Maureen Spielman:

This is your host, Maureen Spielman. I started the show to

Maureen Spielman:

highlight the intuitives, healers and other courageous

Maureen Spielman:

women that I've met along my journey and continue to meet.

Maureen Spielman:

Through amazing interviews, I seek to ask insightful questions

Maureen Spielman:

to uncover ways in which you, the listener can apply the

Maureen Spielman:

wisdom and knowledge to your own life. I believe that we're all

Maureen Spielman:

in this together. So sharing healing and joy, and bringing

Maureen Spielman:

community together is both my passion and purpose. If you'd

Maureen Spielman:

like to learn more about the mystical sisterhood community

Maureen Spielman:

I'm building, please visit www mystical sisterhood.com See you

Maureen Spielman:

in the episode.

Maureen Spielman:

Welcome back to mystical sisterhood. This is Maureen

Maureen Spielman:

Spielman, your host. And I'm here today on my own in a solo

Maureen Spielman:

episode. For the listeners that have been with me since the

Maureen Spielman:

beginning, when I launched in January. And anyone who has

Maureen Spielman:

joined along the way, I want to say a big thank you. Thanks for

Maureen Spielman:

being here. And thank you to you, if you are new today to

Maureen Spielman:

welcome. We have 20 episodes, or interviews so far. So go back

Maureen Spielman:

into the archives and see what speaks to you. I wanted to take

Maureen Spielman:

a moment today, I didn't know what I was going to talk about.

Maureen Spielman:

But just to take a moment, and be in gratitude and reflection

Maureen Spielman:

for what is happening with this podcast. When I, you know moved

Maureen Spielman:

on the idea of beginning the podcast, I just was going

Maureen Spielman:

forward out of intuition. And following like a road or a

Maureen Spielman:

thread that was being put in front of me. And I had this idea

Maureen Spielman:

that I would bring together intuitives and healers and

Maureen Spielman:

courageous women and talk about their work. And I think I saw it

Maureen Spielman:

as this linear process. But I wasn't setting out to accomplish

Maureen Spielman:

much of anything other than bringing voices to the world.

Maureen Spielman:

And so what's happened is in these first going on, I believe

Maureen Spielman:

it's five months now is I've been able to step back a little

Maureen Spielman:

bit and look at trends that are happening, or I'm observing

Maureen Spielman:

patterns of the conversations that we are engaging in. And I

Maureen Spielman:

do say we because I believe it's me as the interviewer, the host,

Maureen Spielman:

my guest and you, I see us all sort of working in tandem to, to

Maureen Spielman:

receive messages to process in our own way. And then you see

Maureen Spielman:

how it plays out how it affects our lives. So personally, I have

Maureen Spielman:

always so deeply cared about healing on an individual level,

Maureen Spielman:

level. And I was always, you know, when I was younger, I

Maureen Spielman:

think a poster child like when I knew that there were things to

Maureen Spielman:

heal a poster child for therapy, or, you know, that poster child

Maureen Spielman:

for change in our institutions, and just had this innate

Maureen Spielman:

knowledge that systems could be made better, and old models

Maureen Spielman:

improved upon. And so that was sort of my sort of reason of

Maureen Spielman:

being or a part of my mantras or who I was and what I was

Maureen Spielman:

carrying forward even if I couldn't see it. I've always

Maureen Spielman:

been a seeker and a connector of thoughts and ideas. And I also

Maureen Spielman:

see that in the women that are being pulled in to this

Maureen Spielman:

community is that there are a lot of through lines and

Maureen Spielman:

parallels to the ways that we are living and we desire to

Maureen Spielman:

live. So this medium has been really perfect to share what's

Maureen Spielman:

out there and bring it to the world. And I've been astounded.

Maureen Spielman:

There are so many things that I couldn't have predicted or seen.

Maureen Spielman:

But I'm astounded what I've been calling the exponential reach of

Maureen Spielman:

a podcast, and how many years it can get to and lives that can

Maureen Spielman:

affect. I've been astounded to see that there's listeners in

Maureen Spielman:

England and Costa Rica and all over Europe. So it's beautiful.

Maureen Spielman:

And it's true that you know when we're living our lives here on

Maureen Spielman:

Earth in this human form, we are doing the day to day where we

Maureen Spielman:

have the we have our relationships we contend with we

Maureen Spielman:

have the work that we're trying to create. We have obstacles and

Maureen Spielman:

barriers we have have free flowing and abundant times. And

Maureen Spielman:

it's all that part that's almost like, the premise of the podcast

Maureen Spielman:

was originally, that joy and healing could occur together.

Maureen Spielman:

And, and that's how I kind of see our lives occurring. And

Maureen Spielman:

with that I get sort of choked up, because we all know that

Maureen Spielman:

that's the truth. And I guess I just offer that I don't even

Maureen Spielman:

know why. But as part of feeling into the podcast, it's, it's

Maureen Spielman:

walking, doing the day to day, it's, you know, even with a

Maureen Spielman:

podcast alone, it's producing it, it's, you know, having it

Maureen Spielman:

edited, and getting the show notes and all of those things.

Maureen Spielman:

But when I rise above myself, and, and us all, and I look down

Maureen Spielman:

at to what is occurring and happening, I see different

Maureen Spielman:

revelations and fascinating things. So, so far, there have

Maureen Spielman:

been, I believe, 20 interviews a few more in the making. And my

Maureen Spielman:

intention is that I come on, you know, interspersed in here more

Maureen Spielman:

and more, and share my voice as well. But one thing that really

Maureen Spielman:

stood out to me, and I think it was in my astrology episode with

Maureen Spielman:

Lisa, was that we are moving from, if I say this correctly,

Maureen Spielman:

the Piscean age to the Age of Aquarius, and we're moving from

Maureen Spielman:

a dominant masculine view of life, to bringing forward the

Maureen Spielman:

feminine, and the divine feminine and all of her power

Maureen Spielman:

and glory. Yeah, I didn't set out to pull these voices

Maureen Spielman:

forward, known to me. But what I'm seeing is in each moment,

Maureen Spielman:

and I really think it's moment to moment, I sometimes think of

Maureen Spielman:

like, each day, each hour, each month, whatever it is, but it's

Maureen Spielman:

really each moment, more of us are stepping out to discover and

Maureen Spielman:

reveal our authentic selves, where we're so deeply curious

Maureen Spielman:

about what is inside us, that is emerging and wanting to be

Maureen Spielman:

healed, be shared, what is calling forward from our heart's

Maureen Spielman:

desire, and really stepping into our worthiness along the way.

Maureen Spielman:

Understanding that each and every instance in our life has

Maureen Spielman:

added up to the beautiful alchemy that is you. What I'm

Maureen Spielman:

hearing on an individual level, is that we're no longer willing

Maureen Spielman:

to settle for perhaps what we have settled for in our pasts.

Maureen Spielman:

Perhaps it's what we saw, you know, our mothers and our

Maureen Spielman:

grandmothers go through. But we are moving into an era where we

Maureen Spielman:

set are not set our paths behind, we deeply honor them.

Maureen Spielman:

But we're so interested in invested in a new experience, I

Maureen Spielman:

guess that's what's coming through. So we're seeing like,

Maureen Spielman:

wow, you know, using terms like generational change, using terms

Maureen Spielman:

like not self abandoning, having curiosity and willingness to go

Maureen Spielman:

deeper, and look into our patterns and our limiting

Maureen Spielman:

beliefs and a lot of the words that are used in sort of a more

Maureen Spielman:

common vernacular now, but just being deeply interested for

Maureen Spielman:

ourselves, um, to not only engage in work, and it can, that

Maureen Spielman:

can be the work of relationships, it doesn't have

Maureen Spielman:

to be like business career, but engage in the work that brings

Maureen Spielman:

out ourselves and also goes below the surface to heal what

Maureen Spielman:

holds us back or gets in our way. So when I began five months

Maureen Spielman:

ago, or even like a little bit preceding that, I reached out to

Maureen Spielman:

dear friends and their friends at turns out who happened to be

Maureen Spielman:

healers, or innovators, and I've helped beginning conversations

Maureen Spielman:

with them. And so many if not all of those conversations, we

Maureen Spielman:

could have a part two, so if there's anything you'd like to

Maureen Spielman:

hear part two on or go deeper, let me know. Because you know, a

Maureen Spielman:

lot of times when you have people on a podcast, it's just

Maureen Spielman:

like, their beginning stories and how they got there and what

Maureen Spielman:

they get, but there's just so much deeper. As I opened up to

Maureen Spielman:

my gifts of bringing voices to the world, and holding what I

Maureen Spielman:

consider brave conversations Because I couldn't have done

Maureen Spielman:

this three years ago, I couldn't have done it five years ago.

Maureen Spielman:

But, you know, was willing to step into it when that time

Maureen Spielman:

came. But I was able to connect others gifts with your minds,

Maureen Spielman:

hearts and spirits, you the listener, and I'm blown away,

Maureen Spielman:

but not surprised by how generous of spirit you've all

Maureen Spielman:

been from the women I've interviewed to the individuals

Maureen Spielman:

listening and sharing takeaways with me and how a certain

Maureen Spielman:

message impacted their lives. I see important themes arising in

Maureen Spielman:

these conversations. And

Maureen Spielman:

there's just like a lot of commonalities. And obviously,

Maureen Spielman:

like I've chosen, you know, who's come on, but also,

Maureen Spielman:

thematically, there's been topics or areas of life being

Maureen Spielman:

discussed. And some of the patterns that I see that I wrote

Maureen Spielman:

down were, how, across interviews, how we can create

Maureen Spielman:

practices for our own self connection, and how these can be

Maureen Spielman:

the basis for what we deliver out into the world. That when we

Maureen Spielman:

feel connected to ourselves, and learn how to bring compassion to

Maureen Spielman:

our experiences, we shed the layers that don't serve us

Maureen Spielman:

anymore, which allows us to see our bright light, our Spark,

Maureen Spielman:

it's been used different words across different interviews. How

Maureen Spielman:

being vulnerable, leads to such exponential growth, the opening

Maureen Spielman:

up of our stories to one another when we feel safe enough when we

Maureen Spielman:

create those safe containers. And even if we don't always feel

Maureen Spielman:

like 100% safe and something, sometimes giving our selves the

Maureen Spielman:

permission to take the leap. And I think, you know, I see our in

Maureen Spielman:

our sisterhood holding hands with each other. So really

Maureen Spielman:

encouraging, like, I heard that voice. And that voice encouraged

Maureen Spielman:

me to take the leap in that voice encouraged me too, to

Maureen Spielman:

understand that what I felt inside, or any deep calling I

Maureen Spielman:

have is worthy, and is being asked invited to be shared with

Maureen Spielman:

the world. I see women stepping into versions of themselves,

Maureen Spielman:

that perhaps they never thought they would you know that I'm

Maureen Spielman:

talking to you. If you're one of the people who's come on the

Maureen Spielman:

podcast, and felt like ooh, I don't know what that's going to

Maureen Spielman:

feel like. And it kind of goes with I just said, You gave

Maureen Spielman:

yourself the permission to take that leap. And then my next kind

Maureen Spielman:

of write down was that transformation is occurring in

Maureen Spielman:

all of our lives. When we open ourselves up to the

Maureen Spielman:

possibilities when we open ourselves up to what's here for

Maureen Spielman:

us. And it's energetic to, I can feel the energy right now is

Maureen Spielman:

just I record this, that we are all together, it's almost like I

Maureen Spielman:

can visualize us all together. Breaking through the fear of

Maureen Spielman:

allowing yourself to be seen sacred tools are being given to

Maureen Spielman:

us to guide us along the path. And I love that one. Because,

Maureen Spielman:

you know, we've had these sacred tools throughout the interviews,

Maureen Spielman:

whether they're their Akashic records, or channeling, or Reiki

Maureen Spielman:

or magical mentoring, and taking those sacred tools and seeing

Maureen Spielman:

which ones are for us. Because with us, each being a unique

Maureen Spielman:

individual, certain things are going to speak to us in certain

Maureen Spielman:

things not so much. And the thing that I found is certain

Maureen Spielman:

things not right now, maybe later. Like I've shut the door

Maureen Spielman:

on certain things earlier in my life, and been now thinking, oh,

Maureen Spielman:

gosh, I'm really curious about that. And so it just shows you

Maureen Spielman:

that sometimes it's a not now, sometimes it's a not yet. And I

Maureen Spielman:

think that that language is beautiful. When we self reflect

Maureen Spielman:

to about you know, sometimes we can limit ourselves and say, Oh,

Maureen Spielman:

that's not for me, or I can't do that or she can do that. But I

Maureen Spielman:

couldn't possibly do that. And if you just put at the end of

Maureen Spielman:

your sentence, the not yet. Then Hey, it changes everything. It

Maureen Spielman:

opens up the possibility. We've talked about intuition leading

Maureen Spielman:

the way regarding the choices that we make in our lives or the

Maureen Spielman:

directions we He sort of I'm gonna say decide to go but

Maureen Spielman:

Intuit to go is a better way to describe it. And that's our

Maureen Spielman:

sacred tool, right? Intuition is our sacred tool. I love that for

Maureen Spielman:

us, that it's always accessible. Yeah, I love that we are joining

Maureen Spielman:

together and thinking about parenting in new ways. And

Maureen Spielman:

within new paradigms, that's incredibly exciting for me, and

Maureen Spielman:

for us, and that chokes me up, because I think it's just so

Maureen Spielman:

needed. And, you know, re parenting is a theme that's come

Maureen Spielman:

up on the podcast, too, and re mothering ourselves and going

Maureen Spielman:

back and giving ourselves these reparative experiences where we

Maureen Spielman:

can heal, you know, and I think that a lot of us get choked up

Maureen Spielman:

about a lot of this, because we see the pain and the hurt that's

Maureen Spielman:

out there. And as women, as that divine feminine, you know, we

Maureen Spielman:

will do anything to heal that. And at the same time, we're at a

Maureen Spielman:

time where we're not willing, we're willing to look at the

Maureen Spielman:

work that we are doing out in the world that is being called

Maureen Spielman:

for. Absolutely. And we each have our own and stepping into

Maureen Spielman:

it is so important. But also, you know, we haven't talked a

Maureen Spielman:

lot about on the podcast yet. The boundaries with Darlene we

Maureen Spielman:

talked about codependency that was like, an Awakener. For me of

Maureen Spielman:

jeez, it's just there's so much here that is beautiful. And so

Maureen Spielman:

the healing, that healing, this is the last one I have on this

Maureen Spielman:

list. What has happened in our lives within our lives as

Maureen Spielman:

possible. So, you know, sorry, well, not sorry for getting

Maureen Spielman:

choked up. But I think that, you know, we, as women at midlife,

Maureen Spielman:

are finding these new versions, these new voices like and

Maureen Spielman:

they're not even new, they were just always there. It's just

Maureen Spielman:

that we're putting the steps and pieces together to, you know,

Maureen Spielman:

kind of like step into what has always been there for us. But

Maureen Spielman:

there's more of a collective saying now, and we don't need

Maureen Spielman:

permission anymore, from someone else. to band together.

Maureen Spielman:

Absolutely. Because if we can do that together, it's so

Maureen Spielman:

beautiful, and you know, probably is speed speeds it up

Maureen Spielman:

for ourselves to it doesn't matter what age we are, what age

Maureen Spielman:

the woman next to us is, what she looks like, what she wears,

Maureen Spielman:

what she drives, what she weighs. All the things, we're

Maureen Spielman:

putting those things to the side. I mean, that's if you're

Maureen Spielman:

listening now, if you're a listener, that's in my midlife

Maureen Spielman:

demographic, you know, and that's a that's a expanse,

Maureen Spielman:

sometimes I think of that from 40 to 70, is that, even if

Maureen Spielman:

you're younger, you've experienced that, but we're

Maureen Spielman:

moving into this age where we know more and more moment to

Maureen Spielman:

moment that life is so precious, and so sacred, that we have each

Maureen Spielman:

weathered hard stuff. And, and maybe we're currently going

Maureen Spielman:

through hard things. But we're in this more more in this

Maureen Spielman:

together than we ever knew that we are truly all one and

Maureen Spielman:

connected. And the more that we band together in love and light,

Maureen Spielman:

and purpose and connection, the more our messages can amplify.

Maureen Spielman:

So these are just some of the thoughts and things and feelings

Maureen Spielman:

and emotions that were around a corner that I couldn't see when

Maureen Spielman:

I started this. And, you know, I would shout out every single

Maureen Spielman:

person that I've interviewed so far with a quote from both are

Maureen Spielman:

all of them if I could, but that that was Heather Hansen that she

Maureen Spielman:

specializes in the Hebrew alphabet. And I'm going to say

Maureen Spielman:

it was the 22nd Letter although I don't know that puts out there

Maureen Spielman:

and we talked about it in that podcast we cannot see we

Maureen Spielman:

literally cannot see what's around a corner. And what I'm

Maureen Spielman:

seeing is that there's the unknown and the magic that this

Maureen Spielman:

life is and what I know is these experiences are not reserved for

Maureen Spielman:

the few they're just not Yeah. So as I come to that almost

Maureen Spielman:

conclusion of the thoughts you're like I just said that

Maureen Spielman:

have come to me the impressions the revelry. Asians the insights

Maureen Spielman:

of our connections, our sacred connections, our work together

Maureen Spielman:

in this lifetime, that we're so I'm so grateful and honored to

Maureen Spielman:

honestly be doing right alongside you. It's why I

Maureen Spielman:

created this podcast. It's why I embarked on creating the

Maureen Spielman:

membership.

Maureen Spielman:

The off to the side of the podcast, which each and every

Maureen Spielman:

one of you are invited to, you know, if you just want to

Maureen Spielman:

partake in the Facebook page under mystical sisterhood join

Maureen Spielman:

us there. There's some conversation that's beautiful,

Maureen Spielman:

and fun and engaging, and lively and insightful. And I always

Maureen Spielman:

love reading people shares on that page. Because what I'm

Maureen Spielman:

finding too is, hey, we're, we're, we're ready to do this

Maureen Spielman:

work, we're willing, we're, we're engaged. And it's such a,

Maureen Spielman:

it's such an amazing thing. And in the membership, you know, if

Maureen Spielman:

anyone listening, if you're not already a member has any

Maureen Spielman:

interest in joining us. What it entails is, it's a platform off

Maureen Spielman:

of social media, called Mighty networks. So it's a private, a

Maureen Spielman:

private portal. And the membership is holds all the

Maureen Spielman:

values and the expansion that the podcast does. And in it, you

Maureen Spielman:

will find a six part foundational course that's

Maureen Spielman:

really based on the principles of my coaching, and all that I

Maureen Spielman:

have learned and bring forward and really all the threads that

Maureen Spielman:

I mentioned earlier in this podcast, connection to sell

Maureen Spielman:

vulnerability, understanding our own emotions, banding together

Maureen Spielman:

with women, hearing each other's experiences, learning from each

Maureen Spielman:

other asking questions, being inquisitive, being curious, and

Maureen Spielman:

holding hands and, you know, walking this walk together. And

Maureen Spielman:

so we hold a live call each week, focused on these topics.

Maureen Spielman:

upcoming ones are honoring the gifts you hold within you. It's

Maureen Spielman:

I didn't do it on purpose. But that's this week's it's this

Maureen Spielman:

week's meeting topic. We've talked about tapping into your

Maureen Spielman:

emotions, we'll be talking about the universe as our mirror, and

Maureen Spielman:

creating safety and intimacy within. Also, there's a guest

Maureen Spielman:

speaker each month, where we learn and share our experiences.

Maureen Spielman:

And that's just, we just have fun in there and, and learn

Maureen Spielman:

together. And there's a vibrant community feed where anyone can

Maureen Spielman:

share whatever they would like to share or ask questions. So if

Maureen Spielman:

there's any part of you, that's curious, reach out to me at

Maureen Spielman:

hello at Maureen spielman.com. And you can also go to mystical

Maureen Spielman:

sisterhood.com to fill out an application that has a few

Maureen Spielman:

questions. And if you're interested, I'll send you a

Maureen Spielman:

welcome letter and you're in. And right now, the investment is

Maureen Spielman:

$68 a month. And yeah, I'm just excited to grow this community

Maureen Spielman:

because as you can tell, I'm passionate and excited about

Maureen Spielman:

these topics. I'm excited for us all. So consider this an

Maureen Spielman:

invitation, whether it's just to continue to listen to the

Maureen Spielman:

podcast, but it's an invitation to be in communion with

Maureen Spielman:

yourself, and communion with women at midlife on a path

Maureen Spielman:

seeking to find and live into their most aligned selves. So I

Maureen Spielman:

created the podcast to seed ideas and share them with the

Maureen Spielman:

world. Never knowing where it would lead, just simply

Maureen Spielman:

following that intuitive hit. And what I'll lastly say is what

Maureen Spielman:

I find most of all, is expansion of hearts, and spirits, and

Maureen Spielman:

minds. And I've hit a lot of emotions throughout this

Maureen Spielman:

recording. And they're all welcome as we know. But I'm

Maureen Spielman:

ending with a smile on my face. I want to say thank you so much

Maureen Spielman:

for listening in today. I am finding my groove with the solo

Maureen Spielman:

episodes. And I just trust just like in my interviews, that what

Maureen Spielman:

is said in shared is meant to be for me and for you and for our

Maureen Spielman:

collective humanity. So again, if you have thoughts, questions

Maureen Spielman:

and feedback, email me at hello at Maureen spillman.com. And

Maureen Spielman:

I'll get back to you soon. Check out the show notes for any

Maureen Spielman:

resources and information for you. And yeah, I think that's

Maureen Spielman:

where it Want to wrap up? Don't be afraid to reach out. And

Maureen Spielman:

let's continue the conversations. All right. Talk

Maureen Spielman:

to you soon. See you soon in the next episode. Thanks for
