Do you know this Parable? Jesus said one parable is the key to understanding ALL parables. A prerequisite understanding if you will. Do you know which parable he referenced? If not, go to your Bible and find it right away. Even with Jesus the Son of God, in physical form on the earth, there was an enemy and a communication barrier that required stealth implementation. There are hints of this in the Gospels. Also, remember Paul's words in 1 Cor. 2:7-8 "But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory."

58: The Parable Of The Good Samaritan
Luke 10:25-37
The Parable Of The Good Samaritan
A Lawyer asked Jesus:
“Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”
Jesus answered with a question, saying:
“What is written in the law? How readest thou?”
The lawyer replied:
“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself.”
Jesus said to the lawyer:
“Thou hast answered right. This do, and thou shalt live.”
Then the lawyer asked:
“Who is my neighbor?”
Jesus answered with a parable, saying:
“A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. And by chance there came down a certain priest that way; and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was; and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, and went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, ‘Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.’ Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbor unto him that fell among the thieves?”
The lawyer replied to Jesus:
“He that showed mercy on him.”
Jesus replied:
"Go, and do thou likewise."
