Today's guest has 20 years experience working as a secondary school teacher and has witnessed the stresses and worries young adults are facing and the impact this is having on their mental health.
Being heavily involved in pastoral care though out her career, her core belief is a healthy mind is the most fundamental part of a healthy life - building resilience, confidence and a healthy outlook to cope with modern-day stresses - has led her to taking a step further and retrain as a clinical hypnotherapist.
She graduated from The Royal Berkshire College of Clinical Hypnosis and has combined her teaching experience and hypnotherapy skills to focus solely on mental wellbeing.
In 2022 she joined a group called Mind Mentors, where she work with students in schools to equip them with techniques to cope with their stresses.
In addition to Mind Mentors, she has her own practice where she offers support to adults facing a range of difficulties they experience; including anxiety, self-confidence, relationship with food, weight reduction and phobias all through hypnosis.
