Join First Presbyterian Church of Allentown as Pastor Stephanie Anthony continues our summer sermon series "Disputing with God" with a sermon entitled "When God is Against Us".

This week as we dig into the disputes with God in Scripture, we'll turn to the book of Psalms, the songbook of the ancient Israelites. The psalms of lament are full of people who take God to task in prayer for the ways that God seems to be failing to fulfill the promise of God’s faithfulness. Lament is an important, rich tradition that we sometimes forget is both an acceptable and faithful way of interacting with God.

Today's scripture readings is Psalm 88:1-18 (Read by Linda Boyle).
