Shownotes

Being busy can feel productive. Full to do lists. Constant activity. But in this episode, I explore why busyness does not always lead to real progress in your tutoring or education business.

If you are a tutor or education business owner who feels stuck despite doing all the things, this episode will help you pause and reflect. I talk about how busyness can distract you from the deeper work that drives business growth, clearer marketing and sustainable sales.

We look at the difference between activity and progress. Why clarity, focus and deliberate action matter more than doing everything. And how choosing what truly matters can create more income and head space over time.

Enjoy :-)

Transcripts

Sumantha:

Let’s talk about being busy. Busy can feel productive, a full to do list, a sense of momentum, lots of small actions filling your day. And there is nothing wrong with being busy in itself, and sometimes those small actions are actually steps towards a bigger goal.

Sumantha:

But busy can also be a distraction. Sometimes it is a way of avoiding the deeper work because you feel like you are being productive, and so you avoid the bit that feels a bit scary or a bit unknown.

Sumantha:

Things like the thinking work, the deciding work, the committing to a direction and sticking with it work. It is much easier to keep yourself occupied than it is to sit with uncertainty.

Sumantha:

Busyness can keep you feeling useful without actually moving you forward. Progress usually comes from fewer, more deliberate actions repeated over time, from choosing what matters and letting the rest go.
