Episode 70 of Streets & Scholars with F.G. and Alex Alonso discuss the following:
1. Three San Antonio Cops charged with murder in the shooting of a mentally ill woman. The three charged are Sgt. Alfred Flores, Nathaniel Villalobos and Eleazer Alejandro in the murder of Melissa Perez. Chief William McManus, in a press conference said that the cops violated policy.
2. Georgia police use photo of black man for target practices, but the chief say that he is not racist nor is the department. What was posted on Facebook was removed and the chief stated that there are photos of Asian and White men that are used too.
3. San Jose Police arrest gang members after 1 year investigation. After the investigation, nine adults and three juvenile were arrested on various offenses.
4. Mother, Carlisha Hood and 14 -year old son had murder charges dropped in Chicago after the son, shot Jeremy Brown after he assaulted him mother at a hamburger stand.
