As we covered in the last lesson, Zerubbabel’s Temple, or the Second Temple as it is sometimes called, was finished in 516 BC. But after the Romans conquered Jerusalem, Herod the Great decided to completely refurbish it and enlarge it to be one of the most beautiful and largest Temples in the entire Roman Empire. Is there anything that we can find in archaeology today that supports the existence of Herod’s Temple? Join us as we discover what history has to show us.
