Hey there. Welcome to the podcast. My name is M.C. Hansen.

I’ve been writing songs since I first picked up the guitar at the age of 18. I wrote before I could sing. I rhymed before I could play. Making stuff up and communicating in a way that makes people remember stuff they’d forgotten. Things they didn’t know they cared so much about. That’s my drug and I just can’t get enough of it.

On this podcast I talk to musicians and writers, poets and thinkers about the bits and pieces that make up a good song or a great poem.

I’m interested in the big difference a small change can can make or as Steve Earle puts it "I have a low tolerance for mediocrity in music and life. I'm into pain and joy and the in-between doesn't interest me."
