The Sabbath was created to be a time of joy, but it’s not always experienced that way. When human rules are added on top of rules on top of rules to “protect” the Sabbath, this day of blessing can be misinterpreted and its meaning lost. How can we ARISE to the realization that the Sabbath is the most powerful and meaningful spiritual discipline in our lives?
