In this episode Kelsey dives into exploring Emotional Authority, the most common of all Inner Authorities in Human Design. Governed by the Emotional Solar Plexus, which is both a motor and awareness center, Emotional Authority is the energetic and experiential process through which emotional beings arrive at clarity over time.
Kelsey examines how the emotional wave functions as a natural cycle of highs, lows, and neutrality and why there is “no truth in the now.” Emotional Authority teaches us patience, detachment, and self-responsibility, showing that clarity is not about certainty, but about witnessing the unfolding of truth through experience.
This episode offers guidance on working with different emotional wave patterns, honoring the timing of your process, and understanding how emotional authority expresses uniquely through each Type.

Emotional awareness seeks clarity, not certainty.
Each part of the emotional wave contains fragments of the truth, different context, necessary details and nuance perspectives and emotional clarity is what we arrive to once we've sort of watched all of that and felt the emotional energy of all of that. What feels true most of the time? Emotional authority or emotional awareness tends to entertain quite a bit of gray area.
Things that are yes will feel like no at parts of the wave and vice versa. So again, what feels true most of the time.

Speaker A:Emotional Authority Here is the route that we will take to exploring emotional authority. First, we'll revisit what it means to have a defined solar plexus.
Then we'll talk about how the solar plexus is both an awareness and an energy center, and how those two functionalities of the solar plexus affect the experience of the authority when it is emotional. We'll talk about the distinction between emotional awareness and mental awareness or thought.
This will probably be the lengthiest of the lectures on authority for multiple reasons, one of those reasons being that we're going to look at the different Types of waves that people with emotional authority can have based on what channels connect them, which is something that doesn't pertain to any of the other authorities. So that will will be one reason we go a bit more in depth here. Also, because authority is this sort of process of elimination.
As we move through each potential iteration of authority, you're learning something about your own, because you're learning what your authority is. As we continue to move through this process of elimination, in a way, there's a bit less to say, perhaps.
So just noting that, and then we'll take a look at emotional authority by type. So how does emotional authority function within the aura of a generator, a projector, a manifestor, et cetera?
This is the only authority that three different types can have. Another reason why it's helpful to sort of tease out this authority, or it takes a little more time to tease out this authority.
Revisiting just the concept of a defined solar plexus center. The solar plexus is both an awareness center. Emotional awareness and a motor center provides the fuel to emote.
The solar plexus is the loudest inner authority, and anyone who has it defined has emotional authority. The energy and awareness in the solar plexus are loud, heavy, dense, strongly felt, whether defined or not.
But when it's defined, it is the loudest, heaviest, densest, most strongly felt sensation within your own body. And that is why it becomes your anchor, your authority.
The solar plexus of the three awareness centers is the newest, most complex awareness and drives experiential knowing and spirit consciousness.
If you have a defined solar plexus center, you are always somewhere on your emotional wave, which is always fluctuating and moves through cycles of highs, neutrals and lows that may or may not have anything to do with your external circumstances. Right? So it's your, your internal emotional chemistry that moves you through these waves.
There can be exchange between your outer world and your inner world, where what appears to the mind is that something in the external world is what triggers the emotional wave. And that's valid.
But also, even when things are seemingly neutral, or the mind would label things seemingly neutral, in your outer world, you're still mo through an emotional, energetic, chemical cycle of highs, neutrals and lows within your cycle. For the emotionally defined being, there will be melancholy and sadness. You don't have to rationalize it.
A part of your personal experience for the defined solar plexus is about getting to know your wide range of emotions and sharing them with the world.
There's no truth in the now, with emotional authority, or emotional definition, you're designed to witness your emotional wave over time and arrive to clarity. And everything is grayscale here. With this awareness, there's no certainty with this authority.
Solar plexus definition, AKA emotional authority, is a lot about timing and needing to gather all of the relevant emotional awareness in regards to any decision. So this is all familiar, right?
But the angle that we're looking at this from today is that all of this, everything having to do with the solar plexus with emotional definition becomes the ultimate inner authority that offers correct orientation to everything in your inner and outer worlds.
It's that emotional wave that will primarily filter everything coming in through the conditioning and the openness, and also will work as sort of the anchor, the primary spokesperson for the.
The summarizer of everything happening in your own frequency, in your own form, through all of your definition, including any other centers that you have defined. The solar plexus is both an awareness center and a motor center, and you can't separate one from the other.
Now, if you go down one trajectory within the human design knowledge, that is the evolutionary trajectory, and talking about mutation happening in the human body over, over long periods of time as a species, then you'll hear some things about how there's a mutation happening in the solar plexus, where eventually it will be just an awareness center and not a motor center. So this phrase, we cannot separate one from the other. That's not a phrase that will stand over long evolutionary periods of time.
But for everyone alive today in your body, the solar plexus, whether defined or undefined, is both an awareness center and a motor center, and will be as long as you live in this body. And those two things cannot be separated.
So in our functionality of the solar plexus, the awareness is a result of the wave, of the entirety of the wave. It's an awareness gained over time as the wave does its thing and the energy fuels the wave.
But emotional awareness is the focal point of the center as an inner authority. The energy is what's responsible for us having these different parts of the wave. And so the energy on its own is not the authority.
In other words, if you're feeling an emotionally heightened anything, there's a lot of energy for the high end of your wave, or the energy is heavy and it's really pulling you down. If you're focused on the energy, the nervousness, the solar plexus is associated with the nervousness with the nervous system.
So anytime there's nervousness in the body, that's not your truth. That's just a part of your truth.
Your truth comes to light as you ride this wave, as you ride out the nervousness, and you experience a greater level of emotional awareness that comes from that ability to ride out the wave, which is resourced energetically by the motorized fuel. In the solar plexus. Emotional energy activates the nervous system. Once ignited, it takes time to cool off.
So oftentimes emotional beings will have an experience where the emotional energy in the solar plexus gets ignited. And there's an awareness that knows, this is not my whole truth. I need to watch this and ride it out.
But even when the awareness is there to kind of play its role in neutralizing the intensity of the physical energetic nerves, the physical energetic nerves are still there. So emotional beings often have to deal with the nervous system kind of getting kicked off and then waiting for it to run its course.
Even when from an awareness level we know that we are actually safe. Emotional energy can mark the beginning of the first wave in regards to a specific matter, right?
So say you're a projector and you're emotional and you're invited. There might be a real excitement, an emotional excitement at the beginning of that invitation.
So there's something ignited, there's an excitement that happens. We can kind of look at that as the beginning of a wave.
And now you need to wait a while so you can see how you feel as the emotional energy runs its course through your body.
In a similar matter, emotional beings of any type, something can happen that kind of triggers a low, or depending on the type of wave you have, triggers the crash of the wave. And things are going to feel a really specific way when you're at the bottom of the crash.
And it can take time to get the perspective that it feels more true, that feels more clear, more all encompassing. And so that whatever incident we sort of perceive as being igniting our wave, we can kind of perceive it as being the beginning of the wave.
And now we need to wait to see things from all sides here. Emotional energy can manifest when connected to the throat. So there's three channels that go directly from the solar plexus to the throat.
Because it's taking this emotional, nervous, solar, solar plexus energy, and it's manifesting, it's initiating from that place. Emotional energy can feel manic or depressive, hence why there is no clarity in these moments. Only after completion of the wave can we have clarity.
There's no clarity in the mania, in the high on its own, or the depressive apart end. On its own. And now that's emotional energy. Emotional awareness is a process. It requires time. Again, no truth in the now.
Emotional awareness orients towards the experiential. So emotional energy is kind of more rooted in the now, right? Emotional energy is it. It pulls us into our physical experience a bit more.
The awareness is outside of that. So emotional awareness is able to reflect over time on what has my experience shown me that I feel. And also what experience do I seek to have next.
Anything that gets filtered through the right side of the body graph through the emotional center has some experiential capacity to it. It's oriented towards the abstract realm versus things that go through the left. Have a more logical splenic, a more logical approach.
What makes logical sense? But the emotional realm, including emotional awareness, is about what are the experiences that I can have to enrich to color. Right?
It's spirit consciousness. It's a complex awareness center that drives experiential knowing and spirit consciousness.
So sort of this idea of like we incarnate to have an experience. I say stuff like that a lot. Well, I'm an emotional being, you know, that not my.
That that might not be something that's so resonant to sacral authority or splenic authority, or as resonant to sacral authority or splenic authority, so on and so forth.
Because my authority, my boulder that I'm tied to, that's on this, you know, trip of flying through time and space with me is here to drive experiential knowing and spirit consciousness. So this is a part of what emotional awareness is all about. Emotional awareness seeks clarity, not certainty.
Each part of the emotional wave contains fragments of the truth, different context, necessary details and nuanced perspectives. And emotional clarity is what we arrive to once we've sort of watched all of that and felt the emotional energy of all of that.
And kind of comes from at least a question that I ask myself is what feels true? When all of these parts are considered, what feels true most of the time?
Emotional authority or emotional awareness tends to entertain quite a bit of gray area. Things that are yes will feel like no at parts of the wave and vice versa. So again, what feels true most of the time?
Emotional awareness is not thought. Emotional awareness is a process of feeling things out from various angles, various points in the waves.
Once the emotional experience, awareness or clarity is being attempted to be put into words or rationalized, then mental awareness, ajna awareness, has been employed. It's natural for those with emotional authority to experience the chatter of the mind alongside with this process of arriving to emotional clarity.
But helpful to remember that there is in fact a distinction between the two. When emotional clarity arrives, the body will move or not move on a decision. It's just what happens. Right? Authority is already the thing leading you.
The mind is always going to have its own narrative of whether the body moves to make the decision or not based on the body's emotional clarity.
The mind's narrative, though, is going to be at the mercy of the mind's rationale, which is always trapped inside the duality of, you know, black and white. That's how the Ajna works when we do employ, which is not a choice, right? It's just what happens. No choice.
The passenger, the mind is always going to be employed. It's always with us narrating what's happening. So when that mental awareness has been employed, it's going to be operating within duality.
It's going to be either justifying or negating the emotional authority.
So it's either going to be saying, I feel clear because of this, or it's correct for me to be clear because of this, or I'm doing the right thing because I'm clear. Right? Or it's going to be negating the emotional authority.
It's going to be trying to convince you that your emotional authority is actually saying something other than what it is, or trying to negotiate with or argue with the clarity that you've arrived to one or the other. But all of those things are associated with the passenger, not the vehicle. And remember, the passenger is a decision watcher, not a decision maker.
So allow. This is passenger consciousness. This is surrender. Allow the mind to have its narratives that it's going to have about the body's emotional clarity.
But know that your mind, it is not the one doing the thing. It's just the one watching your body, your emotional clarity. You don't need to second guess, am I clear or not?
Because even you asking, am I clear or not? That's the mind trying to understand the status. When you're clear, you know, because you've moved, because you're no longer waiting for clarity.
This takes time. This is an awareness that takes time to develop. So now we're gonna get into the types of emotional waves.
This is not content typically included in lyd. So putting that out there to note for, for those of you emotional is. This isn't. You can kind of let this go over your head.
Let yourself ride a wave with it. You might experience resonance immediately as we kind of break down your iteration of the emotional wave, but you might not. And that's okay.
When your body needs this information, when your body's ready to integrate to this level of nuance, it'll come back into your life guaranteed. And until then, just kind of let it, you know, let it marinate. So there's three types of emotional waves.
There's a tribal wave, a collective wave, and an individual wave. Some people have a combination. If there's multiple channels defining the solar plexus, many people, most people have one type of emotional wave.
Now, what the waves all have in common is that they vacillate between hope and pain. So when we say highs, we're talking about this feeling of hope. There's excitement, hope.
And then when we say lows, we're talking about pain, often at the lack of those hopes having been met. And we're going to talk about that idea more specifically as we dig into each wave.
But part of the distinction here is that the way that each of the different types of wave vacillates between hope and pain has kind of a different rhythm to it, a different shape to it. So before we get into those different rhythms and shapes, let's talk about how. How is this determined? How do we know this?
And, and more importantly, at this very beginner level, how do you see it in your own design?
So if you have a defined solar plexus, or if you're playing along, if you're not a defined emotional, but you're looking at someone in your life's design who has a solar plexus authority, look right now to see what channel defines their solar plexus. So their solar plexus is either defined in connection to the root, the sacral, if they're a generator, potentially the ego, or the throat.
So take a moment to locate which channel you have that defines your solar plexus or the solar plexus of the chart you're looking at, and then find the numbers on that channel or those channels.
es are going to come from the: t to solar plexus. That's the: Plexus to throat, that's the: ndividual emotional wave, the:And then the final one, the 59, 6 which goes from the sacral to the solar plexus, that is a tribal channel, but it is said to be contain the potential for all three waves. So we'll look at that when we. We'll look at that kind of after all of them.
But note that if you have the 59, 6 or if you're looking at a chart with 59. 6, you're looking at a channel with the potential to be riding all of these types of waves simultaneously. So breaking them down a bit.
Starting with the tribal wave. I have two different images here of the tribal wave. It's. It's typically depicted more this way. The kind of slow climb and then fast drop.
It's like a roller coaster or I guess like some versions of a roller coaster. But I usually think about a roller coaster with the tribal or emotional wave.
Slow, steady, rise up towards hope and then it crashes down towards pain. There's another iteration of that here.
are the channel of synthesis:Now, tribal circuitry in general operates through physical touch and material needs. So that's going to be true with any tribal circuitry in the entire design.
But applied to emotional authority and the wave that emotional authority people ride this wave, the tribal wave. If you have either of those two channels as well as the 59, 6, it's going to orient towards physical touch and material needs. So this is one of mine.
I have both tribal and individual. When I crash on my tribal wave, I do need support emotionally and physically and materially from my community, from my people.
I tend to find that when I'm low in my. On the individual wave, I more just kind of need to be in my own space to sort of transmute that.
But when it's an emotional low, I require the support. Oftentimes physical, right.
This image of the arm around the friend's back, I. I tend to need that like physical in space support or maybe if not physical at least, you know, verbal. There's a frequency exchange happening in order for that tribal low to be transmuted.
And the crash of the tribal low is having to do with how I'm orienting towards whether my needs are being met or not.
Okay, so tribal wave has to do with need both in terms of what's happening on the way up, what's happening when I crash, and how I transmute that crash and begin to move on the way up again. This wave is often referred to as the ratchet wave.
Ratchet like a tool, like, as you ratchet up, there's tension building, tension building, tension building until there's an explosion or release down to the low. And then that tension slowly starts to build again as you ratchet up towards the top.
The themes, I've kind of already covered this, but the themes will be tribal, be about the needs of the tribe, exchanges and bargains, recognition and value. The wave often crashes when there's a need for connection, intimacy, and support.
So having emotional awareness with this kind of wave, and what I mean by that is remaining the passenger as you watch your body move through this kind of wave.
One way, the training wheels, one way for the passenger to remember that there's no truth in the now can look like honoring your need for connection, intimacy, and support and advocating for these needs before the need feels so big and so dire.
If a tribal person kind of attaches to what they feel, you know, on this slow ride up as the ultimate truth, then they're going to be very let down when the wave crashes and they realize that they actually do have a need for more support, more intimacy, more connection than they felt they necessarily needed on the way up. Or it might be more like they feel that they have it on the way up, and then they don't feel that they have it when it crashes.
And if the tribal emotional person is able to realize that need is something that they can advocate for and look for on the way up, then maybe the pain of feeling momentarily like they don't have it or don't have enough of it can be watched with a bit more of a neutral eye. And then the res. The receiving of that support and need when the wave crashes can be neutralized as well.
It doesn't have to then be your fault or more likely, with tribal waves, someone else's fault, that your needs aren't being met because you kept perspective on the way up, that there's gonna be a moment when it crashes. And I feel like I need more from my community than I'm being offered.
And so if the emotional person has that in mind as they're on their way up, that's emotional awareness.
And when the wave crashes, if the emotional person has in mind that this is something that happens within me every so often, and it's not necessarily a reflection of the truth. It's a reflection of the part of truth, of my truth. And so I can accept the support and surrender to that.
I do have a need for communal and material, physical and emotional support right now. Then we can more quickly surrender to. This is just where we are right now.
We don't have to, you know, project onto that, project any meaning from the mind onto feeling low and feeling like there's an unmet need.
We can more from a more surrendered place, embrace that need, allow ourselves to receive again without subscribing unnecessary meaning to it, and then begin that ride up. Now, the mind is often going to want to be like, okay, I fixed it, I fixed the low, and now I'm on my way up again. Right?
But that's not necessarily what's happening.
It's not that anything's being corrected, because no matter how correct everything is in your life, even if you're operating totally mechanically correctly, your mechanics as an emotional being involve the occasional crash of your wave. And so you're not doing anything wrong, and neither is anyone else. Now, a lot of what I just said can be applied to the collective wave too.
Um, but the shape, the rhythm is a bit different. The collective emotional wave is referred to as a cyclical crash for tribal, and it's more of a cycle for collective.
It's also maybe like a roller coaster, but it's a more steady roller coaster in a way. Tribal kind of hits a peak and then crashes versus the collective. It's flowy, you know, the.
re the channel of recognition:And then of course, the 59:6, which is a tribal channel, will still have the capacity, the potential for this rhythm of a wave as well. Collective abstract circuitry, which both of these channels belong to, operate through desire, dreams and expectation.
It's the most wave, wave like wave, or the most cyclical wave. The themes for abstract collective are hopes and dreams. For the experiential, there's again, hopes being built. But it's not so much about need.
Material, emotional, physical need within the community as it is about hopes and dreams for the experiential realm. And the wave will crash when these hopes and dreams and expectations are not met.
So I have the image here is someone, you know, kind of head up in the clouds a bit, feeling a bit more big picture y into things. It's not about the tribe, it's about the collective and one's orientation to the collective. These people are often, you know, dreamers.
This is the wave. I don't have to be clear, but I don't think it's that.
Collective people only crash when the collective, when the goals and dreams they have for the collective aren't met. I think that's in there, but it's also that individual's orientation to the collective.
Are my dreams for the collective and for how I fit into the collective met for how the collective orients to me. So there are personal dreams and hopes for certain experiences that are involved in the hope and the pain of the collective wave as well.
So emotional awareness for people with this fate wave looks like feeding your drive for experience without being too attached to the outcome. You know, you can attach to either end of the wave. Attaching to the hope end of the wave feels like.
Sounds like you know this, like your heart getting really set on your mind. It's really your mind getting really set on the specific expectations that you have that when they're not met, you crash and you. You give up.
There's a real existentialism to it. But attaching to the low end feels like not even allowing yourself to have those hopes and dreams.
You are here to have an alchemize and express those hopes and dreams. That's a part of your gift to the world as an emotional being. And that's a part of your trip that you're on, that you're meant to have.
So feed that drive for experience. Allow yourself to have the hopes and the dreams for these different experiences for yourself and the collective.
But don't be so attached to the specific outcome for how they show up. And just know that regardless of the circumstances, you are going to come back down. There is going to be the painful end.
It's the other side of it, you know, when we, we can talk about the idea of like the shadow side.
I think with emotional authority a lot emotional beings are always going to be taken through a journey where we are made to sort of confront all the different sides of a thing thing, including the light and including the dark. And part of our emotional clarity comes from watching all of that and accepting all of the different parts of that.
Then we have the individual wave, which operates on a pulse. So this. This one? Yeah. I mean, this picture similarly here, it always makes me think of like a heartbeat monitor in a hospital.
Individual circuitry has a sort of like, melancholic rhythm to it, like passion, melancholy. Passion, melancholy. So there's a real moodiness associated with the individual wave.
And sure, you could say there's moodiness associated with all the waves, for sure. But tribal is about my emotional orientation to what's happening in the tribe. Right.
Collective is about my emotional orientation to my hopes and dreams for myself within the collective. Individual is. It really has nothing to do with. With what's happening in my relationship or in the collective or my relationship to the collective.
It's just me. It's very emo, you know, like teenage emo. Energy is how individual circuitry and individual melancholy feels like to me.
But the other side of melancholy, if melancholy is the low pulse, is this passion, this creative passion. And there's a relationship between the two. The ups and downs for individual circuitry, for this pulse wave are pulses that interrupt neutrality.
So people with an individual waves alone.
So just the 12, 22, just the 39, 55, they might seem kind of even keel a lot of the time, but then there's these pulses up of, like, creative inspiration and then these pulses down of melancholy. And melancholy is really like the absence of the creative inspiration. The individual emotional wave has its hope when it's feeling inspired.
If you know anything about this. The different kinds of circuitry in the human design chart, the individual emotional channels are both a part of what's called the knowing circuit.
And the knowing circuit is all about personal empowerment through these moments of knowing, these mutative moments where you know and then there's moments where you don't know. And sometimes those pulses down, the pain, the low of the individual wave, the melancholy of that is sort of like missing the knowing.
It's like this grieving that the knowing that was there is not there. So the key here is, like, understanding that it will return. Know that you're knowing your passion, your inspiration will return.
But then there's gonna be many moments in your life. The neutrals and the lows, which are like kind of like heavy absences of knowing.
You really, you're in this existential crisis of not knowing versus the neutral is kind of like, I'm speaking from my own experience. The neutral is kind of like, I don't really know, but I know I'll know. Again, that's what Neutral feels like to me.
And so, you know, being aware in all the ways, being aware that that rhythm's happening, there's no truth in any given moment.
But specifically because of the moodiness of the individual way of emotional awareness can look like being aware also of when you need to be alone and when you wish to socialize and honoring those moods. Right.
So your melancholy for as an individual wave is it's for you and it, it's going to add depth and clarity to how your passion and your inspiration shows up. But it's for you to really contend to and move through on your own. It's a part of your own process.
And then for those emotional generators who have the 59, 6 and I said emotional generators because this is a sacral emotional channel, however, you can be an emotional generator without this channel. Just to be clear, you can have your solar plexus defined through a non sacral channel.
But for those of you who are emotional generators, specifically with the 59, 6, this is called the channel of mating. And it's said to be the source of all wave mechanics. So you'll notice in this image that it has a different shape than the rest of them.
And sometimes I've seen imagery for this channel's wave that just kind of plasters each of the different wave shapes on top of each other. But I've read and what I've experienced in people with this channel is actually it's not very, it's not chaotic.
When I first saw that image of the three waves all plastered on top of each other, it felt chaotic.
But people who have only this solar plexus channel have a very stable and hidden emotional wave which usually takes another person to bring to the surface. This is by Richard Rudd. And so you can see this image. It's stable, there's a lot going on, there's a potential for all of it.
But it, it has a stability to it. So it's incorporating all of the other waves. But it is primarily tribal. So let's look at the tribal notes.
For this tribal channel, it operates through physical touch and material needs. The themes will be needs of the tribe, exchanges and bargains, recognition and value. The channel of mating, it's the source of life.
So it's taking the motorized energy of the sacral, the energy for life to exist, and it's connecting it with the emotional energy which is the energy for spirit consciousness. So again, that idea of, you know, emotional beings are here to have an experience and the sacral fuels the life of that experience.
This is why this channel is associated with mating and with reproduction, and those things involve the other, right? So you can feel the tribal nature of it there because it's about the emotional, an energetic and physical connection between two beings.
It contains the source of all emotional energy, right? The solar plexus gets energy from the sacral. So we can think of this channel as being like the main source of energy to the solar plexus.
It's what powers the solar plexus.
If you have that, if you have that channel, your sacral is powering your emotional energy even beyond the emotional center's energetic capacity on its own. And the potential for all three emotional streams. Individual, tribal, collective, right.
That sacral can then fuel all of the different potential energetic waves within the solar plexus. Very transparently, I do not have a whole lot of experience, like learning and hearing about and playing with the experience of the wave.
For this channel. I have a bit more of an understanding from watching and talking to and experiencing the transits of collective waves, which I don't have in my body.
I haven't paid as much attention to the 59. 6. So for those of you with the 59. 6, this is always true.
But just an extra reminder to take all of this with a grain of salt and, you know, if and when it feels organic for you to really tune into specifically the shape and the rhythm and the texture of your emotional wave, rely more on. On the truth of your experience over time as you watch your wave than anything I say for sure.
Now in all of the emotional waves, awareness, really, it looks like a masterful balance of detachment and allowance, right?
The detachment is remaining neutral enough in your awareness as to not identify solely with the different parts of your wave, because each part of your wave contains a fragment of the truth. So we don't want to over identify with any of those parts or confuse ourselves into thinking that those parts are the actual truth.
But we also need allowance, right? We don't want to detach to the point of suppressing the reality of the emotional energy that's moving through our body, the.
The reality of this emotional trip that we're on that we're meant to experience. So we also need to allow. We need to honor the parts of the wave enough to be in them, be with them for the experience.
Now, the difference here just kind of pointing this out for.
For people to make the distinction between emotionality as a defined solar plexus, or as anyone else, the other half of the population, we're all here to have an experience. We all dip into these emotional depths, right?
But the difference is that for the emotional being, this trip that we go on, this emotional wave that we ride, is our anchor. It's the strongest color in the gradient of our experience, and we cannot detach ourselves from it.
For everyone else, with every other iteration of authority, this is just part of the trip that we sample. And it's the, it's your authority center that clarifies when you are meant to kind of ride that emotional energy and when not.
So the detachment or allowance for someone with an undefined solar plexus is based on your authority, but the detachment and allowance simultaneous for the emotional being is the constant. Always.
It's important for emotional beings to respect your wave and its parts without seeking to rationalize or place blame on yourself or others for your wave or for any part of your wave.
Note that other authorities, especially people with sacral, splenic and ego authority, may not understand your need for time and to process decisions, and yet you must honor it.
And I say sacral, splenic and ego specifically because these are the authority centers that theoretically should be able to feel in their body instantaneously in any moment the answer in regards to whether something's correct for them or not.
But lunar authority, mental authority, self projected authority, and emotional authority need a process, need time to process, have to feel into different things. So think about like, you know, a sacral being with an emotional being, or a splenic being with an emotional being. The former.
In both instances, their, their body's gonna tell them in the moment yes or no to something or what the, the next correct step is for them. Where the emotional being is gonna need time, it's gonna feel kind of sticky.
And so the non emotional being could very easily project hesitancy onto that.
When the truth of the matter is that there's no way for the emotional person to gauge the gauge what's correct for them without this process, without seeing things from these different angles.
And really, if an emotional person feels really gung ho in any of any given moment, typically that's an indication that there is an over identification happening with a part of a wave. It's the lows and the highs that are going to be where we're most susceptible to thinking. This is absolutely true.
Because the energetic intensity of those parts of the waves, like the highest and the lowest parts, are very convincing. Right?
It's important for emotionals to learn to take responsibility for our emotional experience without placing blame on ourselves, our own decisions, et cetera, or others. We want to interrupt any Patterns that we might have of saying I'm sad because. Or to be honest, I'm happy because.
Right, because that's putting us in a position of thinking that we from an ego mind place are in control of this emotional chemistry, which is not the case. It's not responsibility of the mind, for better or for worse, that you are where you are in your wave.
You didn't do anything wrong, it's just what's happening. And on the same token, no one else did anything wrong.
You are just having an emotional reaction, an emotional response, an emotional process in regards to what has taken place. This is the center in the body graph that holds the most weight.
The 50% of people with this center undefined are absorbing and amplifying your emotional energy.
If you have emotional authority whenever they're around you and are most, and most of these people are conditioned to take it on as their responsibility and or to avoid at all costs now emotional beings.
It's not our responsibility to make sure that the undefined solar plexus people in our lives know energetic boundaries, listen to their own authority, and don't get lost in our emotional trip. That's not on us, that's on them.
However, I personally have found it very useful to just have this in mind that the undefined solar plexus people in my life are literally physically taking in my emotional trip, my emotional energy. When they are in aura with me. They are being conditioned by my trip.
And so there's a real kind of, you know, responsibility and power that comes with having being the half of the planet that has this emotional definition. We are the ones that have to, you know, go to hell and come back up every so often. We go to the underworld in our lows and that's our trip.
You know, we don't, and we don't need to impose that trip on anyone else. That's our trip to ride.
However, there's a level of like compassion I think that I've gained from understanding the impact that my emotional energy has on the people around me. And again, it's, it's not my responsibility.
Aside from taking responsibility for my own emotions and not making any of it their fault or expecting them to come along on the ride with me. However, it has offered me, you know, greater insight, greater compassion for why some people are so sensitive to my emotions.
Your emotionality is a gift to others and it is also yours and yours alone to be in process with to others. It is a form of conditioning meant for their autonomous engagement with or not according to their strategy. And authority system.
Now these next few slides, these are from a social media post that I made probably close to a year ago now that I think just a bit more poetically captures some of what I'm talking about here in regards to the dynamic of defined emotionals and undefined emotionals. So I just pasted these over and I'll give them a read here.
Defined emotionals regularly journey to the darkest depths of the psyche in order to carry its truth, pain and beauty into the light for collective consciousness to behold. Our lows help to shape the collective dream, the tribal support, and the individual awakenings over and over and over again.
Without them, without the lows, the vision is flat, the connections are dull, the mutation comes to a halt. Emotionals in a low can find some solace in remembering that your presence there is changing you and changing the world.
There's a transmutation happening at the low.
I had a session recently with my teacher Alok, another emotional manifestor, and he said something in passing about like, you have to hit the bottom in order to come back up again, right? And when we come back up again, we've been changed by what we've seen.
We have more depth, more complexity, more nuanced in regards to our approach to life, to ourselves, to each other.
And hitting the bottom and hitting that transmutation point is a necessary part of the process of continuously evolving in this depth of emotional awareness. And we bring that to the world. We bring that to the tribal connections, the tribal support.
We bring it to others, individual awakenings and empowerment. We bring it to the collective visions.
Non emotionals, you are never obliged to dive into the depths with us emotionals, nor are you ever responsible for our experiences down there. Non emotionals, internalize this so that you can accept that our journey to the depths and back will never cease to be.
And you can bless us on our way, right? Don't make it a problem that we will one day be high and one day be low. It's not your fault, it's not our fault.
It's just what is coming back into, you know, just the functionality of the solar plexus here. Coming back specifically to the awareness piece of it. Remembering the evolution of awareness that I pointed out in the.
The breakdown of centers, the lecture introducing us to awareness centers, the Spleen, the Ashna and the solar plexus. The Spleen is our oldest, in an evolutionary sense, awareness center. And it's an awareness center that's based on the awareness of survival needs.
It's instinctual awareness for holding onto life and it operates in the now. The spleen does not operate over time, it only operates in the now moment.
The Ajna or strategic awareness center, Mental awareness center is the mental prowess for conceptualizing and it is able to operate outside of the now. Right. So the spleen just in the now. The Ashna operates in linearity, so it can think backwards and it can think forwards.
And that's a part of how the mind operates in duality. Black and white. Yes and no. Forwards, backwards, linearity, the solar plexus.
I almost think about it like first dimensional for the spleen, second dimensional for the the Ajna, and then not just third dimensional for the solar plexus. It's like third, fourth, fifth dimensional for the solar plexus. It, it's pulls multi dimensional perspectives beyond.
Just forwards, backwards, yes, no, black and white. This is the awareness center. That is an entire species. We're involved, we're evolving right now.
To operate more from this is emoting for spirit consciousness. It operates in the abstract, the multi dimensional. And so as defined solar plex beings, this is our anchor. We operate consistently in the abstract.
Multidimensional emotional authority waits for clarity. Clarity is not certainty. The Ajna and mental awareness center is where we look for certainty from.
Clarity is something that is revealed over time and with emotional authority. Certainty is not available to us. Remember, everything is happening on a grayscale.
Things that feel true at one part of our wave will not feel true at another part of our wave. Again, that idea of like the shadow, you know, it's the other side of the thing. So there is no certainty with this authority.
There's clarity over time. Emotional clarity is something that we witness, not something that we force, conspire towards, curate or choose. So from a mind place.
We are not making emotional clarity happen. What the mind is doing is watching. I'm not clear, I'm not clear. I'm not clear. Ah, I must be clear because I'm moving because I'm not waiting anymore.
There's measurement happening in the emotional process, but it's a measurement of the spirit, not the mind. Clarity is what happens over time when the spirit has taken enough measurements. This is how this feels here.
This is how this feels from this angle in order to move forward or not. It's an ongoing, unquantifiable, shifting, complex thing.
So there's things I've had clarity on in the past that have been true and have served me well.
And then as I've continued to ride waves, as I've continued to look at things, to walk around and look at it from another angle, I've gained even more depth, even more clarity. And that's why I have this image here of the. This statue from different angles. I heard this From John Martin, 6:2 splenic projector.
Elder Teacher heard him say this about lunar authority, but I think it also applies to emotional authority.
He said lunar authority, a reflector watching their experience as the moon moves through the zodiac and moves through, making all these temporary definitions in their body. It's like walking around a statue and seeing it from all angles. And there's only a knowing once every angle has been observed, right?
So John Martin offered that in regards to lunar authority for reflectors. But I think it very easily fits with the process of emotional authority as well. This measurement that we're taking is what's the whole picture.
And it's not visual, though, right? It's like, what's the whole feelings picture.
Another way of thinking about clarity here, you know, when you know because you watch yourself stop waiting to see, right? Sometimes it's after one wave, sometimes it takes many, many more.
And additional waves are always going to bring more context, more clarity, whether ahead of a decision or in retrospect. Clarity is sort of like after you've weathered the storm, right? After you've experienced, you know, think about, like, what.
What's it like to live where you live in all these different weather conditions? That as a whole, is what it's like to live where you live, right?
So another just sort of metaphor for clarity in any weather, in every weather pattern, what's the truth that persists throughout all of it? Enough to feel like the truth to me. Last little metaphor here for clarity. It's like a soup simmering. Waiting for clarity is like a soup simmering.
The whole is greater or at least more complex than the sum of its parts, right? It's alchemical.
There's an alchemical process amongst all the different ingredients of my emotional wave, which are the different nuances, the different perspectives, the different details in the way that my emotional chemistry reacts and responds to those different facets of my experience. And it gets tastier the longer you wait, there's more depth. The longer that that soup simmers, that the clarity simmers.
Starting to kind of sum it up here.
The solar plexus as the filter for your openness and the anchor, the spokesperson for your definition, the clarity for those of you with emotional authority, the clarity that arrives from your emotional wave ensures correct navigation through the conditioning that takes place in your openness. Your authority is ultimately about Abstract experience, because that's what the solar plexus is about.
So even the incorrect is correct sometimes, right?
An emotional being has to experiment with their strategy and with their not self strategy and feel those things through many different waves and many different circumstances in order to over time start to come to more and more kind of congealed senses of truth and clarity. Because they've watched their emotional system engage with all these different facets of their experience. So think it's about the experience.
You, you're not going to know why from a mental level you do or don't want this next experience.
But your emotional authority is going to pull in if you're a projector or a generator or initiate you towards, if you're a manifestor, the next experience that your soup of emotional, the next ingredient that your soup of emotional authority needs, right? The next experience that's meant to be filtered through your wave.
The clarity that arrives from the emotional waves takes into consideration all of the parts of your present in your other definition without you having to think about or dissect it, right? So if you have, if you also have sacral definition or splenic or ego or g, whatever it is, you don't have to consciously think about.
Well, my sacral says this, but my solar plexus says this, right? So all those other parts of your definition are parts of the ingredients in your soup, right?
And the emotional wave is the simmering process that's providing more of a depth of awareness of all those parts in all these different scenarios under all these different iterations of emotional weather. The clarity that you arrive to.
You will never be able to mentally articulate how all those parts together came to be or mentally ensure that they're all honored. But that is what the emotional mechanism is doing. It is stirring the soup for you and doing all of those calculations.
Except it's not calculations because it's this multi dimensional place where time and space doesn't exist. And it's giving you the signals and the cues of clarity once it's time to pull the next thing in or move towards the next thing.
And I got a little galaxy brains there.
But the point of that is that the clarity when it arrives, when you watch your body move from a place of clarity, it already has taken into consideration all of your other definition and every facet of you and what is in the highest interest, highest and best interest for you in your life. Now let's differentiate a little bit and take emotional authority and apply it in these different, inside of these different auras.
So for emotional authority and generators, this is an emotional system that is the anchor for your open, enveloping aura to contain and to be and to use as a navigational tool as it responds to life as it moves in its Auric strategy.
So for emotional generators, your emotional depth is involved in your response to life as well as how you condition the world with your powerful life force. So we've talked about generators. You are either conditioning the world and those around you with your satisfaction or your frustration.
But your satisfaction and frustration as an emotional generator are also colored by your emotional complexity and by the different timbre of your emotional energy depending on where you are in your wave. That's flavoring how you condition the other, but it's also flavoring your experience of response to life internally.
Therefore, emotional generators benefit from waiting a little longer to respond, especially whenever there's nervousness in the body. When. When there's nervousness in the, in the body, as in the nervous system is triggered in any way.
That's a really good cue that there is not clarity, right? Because when there's clarity, there's no nervousness surrounding that decision or that response. It's. It's clear.
Emotional generators also benefit from waiting longer to respond when it comes to complex or big moves.
Even better is when emotional generators are asked to respond to the same thing over and over again at different points through their wave, so they can assess the response from all these different angles. Right? There's always gonna be a sacral response for that.
A sacral person is always gonna have a cue in answer to that question, but it will change the context around it will change. Different aspects of it will change based on where the that generator is in their wave.
And so for emotional generators, if you have people in your life that can support you in asking you these questions that you know you're not clear on in yes or no form, specifically at different parts of your wave that can be really useful for you. And you don't need that, right, because you're again, mental construct.
Your body's already doing this, but this is a way to kind of develop your awareness. It's like exercising the muscle of watching how your body is operating and how it's guiding you.
Oftentimes the instant response or non response is the correct one. But waiting through the wave reveals additional details and perspectives that clarify, contextualize, refine, or change it.
The waiting of the wave post response also assures correct timing. So a generator might get a really clear yes to something. It remains clear, like a clear yes, even as they ride their wave.
But the waiting for clarity, even if it remains a yes, is going to help clarify for the Generator, maybe, that they actually respond at the right time. Right? So it's like, this is an example. You get a yes for something.
You continue to get a yes for that thing, even at these different parts of the wave. But there's nervousness at some of those parts, right, because you're in a high or you're in a low.
And then eventually you get a yes that doesn't have any nervousness associated with it. And it. It kind of. It's like for me, and the sacral part obviously isn't a part of my.
My mechanics, but for me, the clarity often really does feel like the nervousness, like the energized approach to the question or the decision is gone. And now it's just like a thing. I know. So for me, as a manifestor, I'm kind of skipping ahead a little here.
It goes from, like, there's energy around this. Either like, ooh, I'm excited to do that, or there's a nervousness around it, like, ooh, I don't know. Like, that sounds risky.
I could get emotionally hurt. Will people like it? You know?
And then eventually, I keep riding a wave or many, many, many waves on a thing, and suddenly it stops being energized from either end. There's no emotional energy behind it. It's just like, oh, this is a thing that's going to happen. That's how it feels for me as a manifestor.
This is a thing I'm going to initiate. And it. It's coming from a neutral place. You know, there's no emotional agenda or desire behind it anymore.
But those emotional agendas and desires kind of informed my process of arriving to clarity. So, you know, same thing for the Generator, except it's happening under this umbrella of response.
Not every single action or decision requires waiting a wave.
For instance, sometimes the emotional process can happen ahead of response, or sometimes prior experience lends to emotional clarity in the moment of sacral response. And then note, this is different than mental awareness. I'll come back to that. So the idea here is like, we don't.
We are always moving through our waves. We're always gaining clarity. We don't necessarily always know what we're gaining clarity on.
So if you get a yes to, like, taking a next human design course, for example, you've now started to ride your wave on the next steps for you in your human design education, and you might have gotten the yes to this person's course or this, you know, curriculum trajectory, but you're riding your wave on it to wait to see if it still feels like the thing you want to do. And then suddenly something new comes into your sphere and you get a yes to that.
And always going to benefit as an emotional being from waiting, from not responding immediately in the moment. Whenever you can wait, wait. Because it's like a simmering soup. It gets deeper, clearer the more you wait. However, that pre.
That pre decision for this new class that popped into your awareness marinating applies to this. Right? So there's a level of clarity available because you've already been riding your wave in regards to this.
So it doesn't necessarily mean move immediately. In most cases, when we move and there's not a deadline, we didn't have to move immediately as an emotional being. That's.
That's not, at worst, not self and at best really kind of ripping ourselves off of the depth of emotional experience and emotional knowing and clarity that we are able to have moving into decisions. But I guess my point here is like, again, we're dealing in the emotional center. We're dealing with an awareness that transcends time and space.
And so it's. This is where we're saying it's not mental awareness, right? So it's. It's not always as linear as the way we talk about it might make it seem, right?
All your prior clarity is lending to your present clarity and your future clarity. And on a similar vein, sometimes there's not time or an option for waiting. Right?
Like, there's things I do every day that are a result of years and decades and probably lifetimes of clarity that I'm not in the moment making. I'm not in the moment of my day waiting for clarity on, right?
You can trust that the thing your body is doing is something you have clarity on, because otherwise you wouldn't be doing it right. So, you know, sometimes we don't.
With emotional authority, we still have to live in the moment, even though our authority requires time, I guess is a more succinct way of saying that. And we can, we can trust that we watch our body respond in the moment and then we gain clarity in retrospect for what how our body moves.
I have the train metaphor in parentheses here.
I just have this memory that has always stuck with me of a classmate asking my teacher alok something along the lines of like the timeline of waiting. He brought up this metaphor of the train. Like, if you don't feel that you're clear of whether you're getting on the train or not.
There comes a point where the train shows up at the station and the doors open and you might not know if you're clear or not. You might, there might still be nervousness.
You don't know what's going to happen, but then the doors open and when they close, the decision will have been made for you. So does your body get on or not? Right.
And the tendency of the mind is always going to be to overthink it, to assign that there's a correctness or an incorrectness to that decision. But the correctness is just whatever the body does and the ability for the mind to watch without really attaching meaning, overthinking it.
So I can like, even, I'm like channeling some wishy washy stuff as I talk about this, but these are just, you know, things that I think emotional beings, as an emotional being myself, tend to be in process with.
And even all of this mental masturbation that's happening in my mind and probably your mind as you're listening is just a part of, it's a part of the process. And you're going to mentally masturbate on this stuff over and over and over.
And you're going to hear so many different people talk about this complexity of the wave and try to find ways to articulate it.
But when we're articulating it, we're always dumbing it down because we're talking about an authority and an awareness that transcends the capabilities of the mind. And we articulate from the mind, okay, so this is all food for thought.
That is naturally, without you doing anything, going to get filtered through your wave over and over and over.
And you're going to start to lay a lot of these questions to the side because once again, your body and your experiment and the process of moving through things with this emotional complexity in this emotional wave is your teacher, not me.
Your own experimentation is so much more valuable than any mental grasping at these attempted universalized articulations of your very unique personal experience with authority.
For emotional projectors, your emotional depth is a big part of what is being invited when people truly recognize you, because it is a big part of you.
So for emotional projectors, this emotional process, this complexity, this depth, this multidimensional sides of things that you bring in is a big part of what you are designed to be recognized for because it is your anchor.
And so people who truly recognize you, invitations that truly contain recognition are inviting this, are inviting this emotionality, emotional projectors have at least two motor centers because the for the emotional projector, the emotional center is either defined to the root or the ego. It can't be defined to the sacral or you'd be a generator and it can't be defined to the throat or you'd be a manifestor.
So emotional projectors have consistent access to fuel, to a good amount of fuel for a projector because you have at least two motors defined, which many projectors have only one or no motors defined.
But this fuel is not necessarily for doing so much as it is for fueling your emotional process in regards to inside of and in between your invitations. Emotional projectors, you do do things on your own. So here's this asterisk, right? You are not, although your aura as a projector is.
This is all projectors, not just emotional projectors is designed to wait until plugged in and then to facilitate and do your thing.
There is a natural dependency, it's not a codependency such that you can't do anything or be in your own body and in your own life in a meaningful way without plugging into someone, right? So outside of that plugging in, which is your auric function, you still live on your own.
And as an emotional projector, that means you have some energy within that capacity of your life that is in the waiting on your own. But these are non sacral motors, right? The root and the solar plexus, or the solar plexus and the ego, depending on your definition.
These are non sacral motors and you are a non sacral being. So the fuel you have is inconsistent. It's not here for you to be consistently using energy.
It's energy specifically having to do with this emotional process.
Waiting for emotional clarity is how emotional projectors will determine what recognition is true and which invitations to accept, as well as when the invitation has run its course and the terms of engagement that need to be reevaluated. So emotional projectors, accepting invitations in the moment is not correct for you and it might take you quite a while to surrender to that.
And so in the meantime, just watch.
You don't need to make yourself wrong, for you have this information now, there's probably a part of you that's like immediately resonant with it and then there's parts of you that don't agree with it, that it's going to take time to build a sense of your own unique clarity and awareness around that. And in the meantime you are going to accept invitations in the moment. It's, it's going to happen.
It needs to happen because it's part of the experiential process. It's a part of what needs to be run through your wave.
But know, notice or observe and see over time the quality of those invitations really when you accept them in the moment, or what you find out about them later, that you did not give your body the opportunity to initially run through your emotional system. Same. And it's not just the beginning of the invitation either, right?
It's like you're invited even when you wait, even when it happens totally correctly, when you wait for your emotional clarity and then you accept the invitations, the terms of the engagement are going to change. The terms of the invitation are going to change. Because we're a mutative being, because life is happening over time, because things evolve.
And so when things start to feel a little off, when it starts to feel like something might need to change here, I might need to unplug here, or we might need to just like unplug, reset and plug back in with a different configuration. Whatever it is, you're going to have an emotional process around that as well.
If emotional projectors also have the spleen and or ego defined, there may be a more instantaneous knowing, because those are centers that are able to communicate a little more distinctly in the now. But the wave is going to provide more context and assure correct timing.
I am a splenic emotional manifester and oftentimes the way I experience it is there is this sort of precise clarity in the moment that something is first being considered.
But it, it's nowhere near enough for me as an emotional being, because it's only a part of the truth until it gets filtered through my emotional process.
Emotional authority in manifestors, emotional manifestors, your emotional depth is a big part of how you impact because it is a big part of you, a very big part of you. The emotional center is the most powerful non sacral motor. So of all the types of manifestors, of which there are three emotional, splenic and ego.
Emotional manifestors have the access to the most energy, especially if paired with other defined motor centers like the root and or the ego. Initiations will be fueled by emotional energy, potentially in addition to root and or ego energy.
Again, if you have other motors and the complex deep process of the wave is what is initiating through the manifester, the emotional wave will slow down. The manifester, splenic and ego manifestors often at least appear to move more quickly because the knowing for those types of manifestors is fast.
Once the urge hits, the knowing is Instantaneous. For emotional manifestors, there's more of a process. The urge is like very clearly gestating. Is this thing going to be initiated through me?
And then there's all these different factors and steps within the initiation that have to marinate within the emotional process before there's clarity on what is actually going to be happening. Before there's that kind of clear, neutral, not energized necessarily from an emotional place initiation.
It is energized from the emotions, but it's energized through this alchemical process of the emotions, not from this one emotion.
Right now, informing for the emotional manifestor at some points may sound more like, I've been considering this, I'm feeling into this, I need to process about this, I might do this, this is how I'm feeling, et cetera. And then once there is clarity, then the more standard informing can take place.
And by standard informing I mean, you know, informing the people around you or the people it will impact. This is going to happen. This is what it seems like is happening. Like I've been informed from my internal cues.
Now I'm informing you, this is what I'm doing. This is the direction this is moving in. But for the emotional manifester, that's just one part of our process. The clarity is just one part.
And there's people in our life who are impacted by us even before we have clarity, right?
And so before we get to that point of clarity where we're doing kind of more standard manifest or informing, it's helpful for us to also inform people in our lives what's happening in our process, amidst our process, so that they're not off guard when we become clear. And also just so they know our status when we're not clear. I've been feeling this out quite a bit. You know, I've been thinking a lot about this.
I'm feeling low, you know, I'm feeling kind of sad. We can hang out. But my energy is kind of low. I know it's going to impact you because I'm an emotional manifester.
And when I'm in a low, everything I say is impacting with the low emotional energy of my low. If emotional manifestors also have the spleen and or the ego defined, there might be a same bullet point on the last slide with projectors.
There might be a more instantaneous knowing, but then the wave is going to provide more context and assure correct timing of the initiation. Similarly to what we talked about with emotional generators and having the sacral as well as the solar plexus.
